Nice dude.
Very helpful👍
So if you have the Epicenter inline with your system AND the knob all the way DOWN (counter clockwise), we are actually taking away bass in a song (that already has heavy bass)???
Mark does the epicenter use the subwoofer RCA out of head unit or full range RCA?
What wide and sweep do u recommend
Does that Bass Knob you adjusted act like a Bass Knob you receive with a sub amp?
No
Im wanting to add this to my 18s. My box is tuned to 30hz. Does the epicenter work best at certain frequencies?
Your sub box is tuned to 30hz but the epicenter will only play down to 33hz . But you can order 15hz 20hz chips or them so you can play lower Hz
@@jaywesley3500
33hz with a roll off. Not exactly 33hz
Balanced or unbalanced? Do i change anything or leave it the way it was shipped?
What if you have a amplifier with a bass knob will the Epicenter control Knob Interfere with with the bass knob? Or do you choose one over the other?
I need answer too ? Any luck yet
@@ricxander85 did you figure it out ?
We need to know 😩
Yes we need to know 🥺
no you use the knob from the sub to level the bass and the epicenter knob to restore the missing bass from the song so u can have both
I have a Pac Amp pro, would I benefit from adding a Epicenter Mark? I have a 2015 Sierra w Bose and my stereo sounds "generic."
Depends on if you need lower harmonics that are not found in your music? Epicenter is fantastic for Rock music and anything with a kick drum. However, the benefit is you can turn the feature down if you don't need it.
Does it increase the the odds of damage to the sub?
If setup incorrectly, then yes there is the chance of damage. However following the instructions and video its quite easy to get up and running
So this would go before a dsp that control 2 mid Amps and a sub amp?
Made to perform using the entire audio signal from 20 to 20,000 Hertz... it needs to go directly behind the source for your system I have a little setup on my page.
would you advise the indash epicenter or the unit from this video ? and why ?
indash has the same features however its just a indash mountable version instead of a trunk or underseat version.
Besides ithas a display for voltage and DB with a mic
I been had this my system surpassed many hardly anyone can f with my system especially any car maybe jeeps and trucks
What does that 1 amp fuse look like? literally only information I came here for
I know you asked this over a year ago, but I’ll answer your question and how I did my install. I used the 1 amp fuse (black colored) with an inline fuse holder (ATC style fuse with a holder and a wire on each side) I then put one end in my main amp power input and soldered the other end to extra wire to wire into the plug . Taped up the wires so it’s not visible and now it is protected against shorts and it’s the most simple way of hooking it up by piggy backing off the already available wires present on the main amp (ground, remote, and constant 12v)
Where do the power connection's go??? Rem., Power+gnd???
Constant power to the power terminal, Earth connected to GND and Remote trigger from your head unit to the REM terminal. If unsure, check out the manual for the AudioControl EPICENTER ;)
Can you turn off the epicenter when an already bass heavy song is playing???
Yes
