I get impressed when i see he actually knows what his doing, when i try to play like him i just hit some random notes as hard and fast as possible and feel like the shit
He's using this technique where he hits the pedal with the front part of his foot then the heel, so each time he taps his foot he hits the pedal twice, maybe even more than that idk. Common like metal drummer technique he's just really fast and consistent, but if you just watch the pedal, looks like he's moving way faster
@@FangBoots well hella practice for sure is the entire reason he can play like he does. HOWEVER. i wouldnt doubt that this man has smoked meth. i also wouldnt doubt that hes probably performed fucked up on drugs a few times.
It's cool as well because one of the hits is a hi hat and snare on the same beat with the left hand, that's probably what makes it sound the most confusing
@@BB.156 He's alternating a paradiddle with the kick and the snare while accenting the down beat with the floor tom and hihat. Play it in 0.5 speed and then you can hear it
@@BB.156 There are other vids where you can see very clearly on his heads that he does a lot of center playing - his choice of "zones" is definitely for tone, striking the center of the drum isn't always beneficial...
Adjust the play back speed from slowest to fastest and you can hear it progress in to the amazing groove it almost has me fooled in to thinking I could learn how to play this.
@@piercebruhbruh got it down. also working heavily on zach’s various methods for bass technique as well as how he uses moeller to help with speed across the kit. also transcribing some of his grooves in certain songs like mountains in thy chest along with certain grooves in various videos of him playing.
@@piercebruhbruh thank bro! yeah man i recommended taking your time with approaching drums like he does. what i’m actually doing right now is going down to very basic grooves and just practicing single pedal double bass techniques that he uses with them and slowly speeding them up. also i recommend if you wanna get an effective starting point to learning how zach approaches the kit, watch jordan azevedo.

This fools on Meth. That's the only reason why he can play that fast.
Whens he doped up, he said it himself.
I triple double dare you to acquire such skill just by smoking meth. It doesn’t work like that
@@60circuits60 meth certainly helps
Yeah i tried that…. Didnt work and got my life ruined and electric drums sold 🥺
Fuck..
@@60circuits60 I tried this, ended up with a meth addiction and had to sell my drum kit for money for more
his foot's just going. constant stream of hits
the way his pedal is set up makes it rebound slightly
Paradiddles between the hands and right foot, fuckn killer
Ok Nixtrove

You could say its a house of hits.
