Oh, you are going to love Hoist the Colours. It is, to say the least, intense. In fact, it's been their most recent reactor-slayer- we had a few weeks of watching reactors drop their jaws, absolutely wordless, or toss their headphones aside and simply walk away. I think their most recent release, the Halo theme, would also have such an effect, but for some reason not as many people are viewing that one. Which is a shame- it's a tour de force, and it's also dedicated to a very dear friend of theirs who passed recently, so it means a lot more than just a simple piece of music. Maybe after seeing Hoist the Colours, check out Halo. I think you'd appreciate the window into VoicePlay, but bring some tissues, okay? I still cry, despite having seen it many times. Worth it though.
The dedication on Halo was incredibly sweet and the guys did amazing, but as I wasn't as excited for it. I've never played Halo, don't care for it, and while the theme is beautiful, there aren't many lyrics at all. It won't get stuck in your head, make you tap your toes, etc. I've watched it multiple times and many reactions to it because I love Voiceplay and their work, but I am just not into it.
"Hoist the Colours" is their best performance to-date, in my opinion.
Well, all you have left to watch is "What's This" to round out the Nightmare Before Christmas reactions.

Great reaction! Your personality and enthusiasm is so contagious! Yes on Hoist the Colors, but also don't let Halloween go by without reacting to Geoff Castellucci's Headless Horseman. You will love it :)

It was a fun one, and there was interaction between the Geoffs, and props for that...
I also adore Jack Sparrow, but then I adore Johnny Depp anyway - his talent is phenomenal, just like VoicePlay. :) And yes Hoist the Colours is also phenomenal. Just don't think it's going to be a sea shanty - as some do, and can't grasp what's going on. I would say put aside any preconceptions, and buckle up for the ride.
Hoist the Colours is from the third PotC movie. Please check it out - it's soooooooo good. One of my absolute favourites of theirs. They make excellent pirates 😁

Yes it is Hoist the Colors from Piratrs 3. It's truly amazing how good their arrangements are. You should also check out Cant Help Falling in Love, and more from Geoffs solo channel he has Headless horseman and monster mash covers.

It will be a week or two before it gets apublic release but they just released "Friends on the Otherside" from The Princess and the Frog on patreon the other day, it's perfect for Halloween and they got J back to take the lead so add that to your list as well.

@@OpposingPony I've sort of stumbled into reactors. I wanted to learn something about what I was starting to listen to (Only started really doing the VP rabbit hole last month ((I think it was last month)) and out with Dennis, Qofy, and The Charismatic Voice...they're still my favorites for VP reactions. Just have to get Charismatic voice to do some up-to-date stuff now.)
@@melissarumack9095 I started watching the reactors because I love their faces when Geoff goes super low, especially if they're new to watching voiceplay. I love the Charismatic voice because she goes into so much detail on her analysis, even if her videos are kinda long, imo.
