- The BMP-2M buff has been live for over 24 hours now. I felt a little guilty that players have to put up with it so I decided to bring back Balance to War Thunder with the German PUMA AFV and the G.91 R/4!
The PUMA in War Thunder is a German AFV which is one of the most modern vehicles we currently have in game. It's equipped with a 30mm autocannon that fires a similar APFSDS round to the BMP-2M but with an extra 20mm of penetration at 122mm!
The thing that sets apart the PUMA from the BMP-2M is that it's actually one of the most survivable vehicles we currently have in game. It's absolutely covered in armour panels and composite blocks that overlap causing issues not only for HEAT-FS and other Chemical Rounds... but even APFSDS too! The crew are also insanely spread out and there is no crew in the turret either!

I have *Earned* the right to compare Destiny PVP to other PVP.
At least Gaijiin's server-based matchmaking (instead of peer to peer) means that cheaters are easy(er) to spot.

Germany and Russia in WT is like two customers in a store arguing without either of them having a reason. The US, UK, France, China and Sweden would be the owner of the destroyed store and Japan and Italy the pedestrian who collides with a lamppost for watch the fight in the street.
With the number of full up tiers against Germany and USSR on the same team, then having them just go full charge and destroying everything in their path... I can absolutely picture this scene you have created... (Mostly playing BR 3.3 up to 5.7 with friends who are still doing the grind to get some higher vehicles lately).

You get WW2 stuff against rockets, 80 km/h, autoloaders and heatfs.... and later you get basicly trash for about 8k repair costs per vehicle against absolute beasts.

When are they never?... I'm trying to get through br 4-5 as the british... it is painfully slow... as anything british is slow and weak.... I'm struggling to make silver lions at br 4-5 because challengers are completely luck based , churchills do sweet f all and the concept 3 is mediocre... but every match is swarming with nothing but panthers and tigers that you cannot do shit against because the brits can pen but they can't do damage...

It's terrifying when you look down the barrel of a Puma in an actual game but there is something about the Puma that, quite confusingly makes it cute when it responds to the questions asked.

Heya odd, it's been about 7 months since I started playing war Thunder, I got my first nuke with 8.3 Japan today. I want to thank you for introducing me to this beautiful mess of a game and for all the content along the way.
Bro ive been playing for 2 yrs and i never got a nuke ig your just really good for a new player

@@ggggg931 you just have to have the right circumstances. I didn't get a nuke until about a week or so ago, while I was playing 6.7 France with my amx-13. Two caps, 10 kills and a few assists was what allowed me to pull the trigger.
It becomes like a drug. Ive spent more on this game than my pc. And my graphics alone was 1400$. I have a problem...

Sounds like the Falcon might be useful at removing BMPs too.
You know, I'd like to see the addition of a repair/rearm point in the spawn areas for all BRs. Planes are able to fully repair and heal crew at the air field, ground forces should be able to as well. Restock FPE charges, put ERA back on, heal and replace lost crew members. But as the battle goes on it takes longer and does less. Simulating supplies being depleted.
It would reinforce people camping from close to the spawns. I'd like IFVs acting as resupply vehicles - they don't carry infantry, so they have plenty if space for supplies.

Ground rb isn't a one tank battle match. Grind out lineups instead of relying on perpetually preserving that one tank you like and that one playstyle you think is rewarding. Being a bottom tier and watching enemy heavy tanks recuperating everything they have only to roll into your spawn without crew loss is just a dumb proposition.

@@yexelanelk9620 well the fact in Ukraines eyes winning mean kicking russia out of there country, and while Ukraine took considerably large areas back while russia is pushing a few hundred meters every few days while succumbing to considerable attrition id say could still go either way.... well atleast untill more western weapons arrive if russia dosnt get its act together, if you ask anyone in or ex military they will tell you russia who is meant to be second most powerful military is performing terribly.

High tier just needs some new game mode, something like BFs rush mode, where one team is pushing and other defending. Once enemy wins over one area, defending teams spawn points gets moved
That road accident you had with the XM-1 reminds me of this guy I found at BR 1.0 in his Tetrarch, he hit my side, I didn't think much of it and kept going, but then he just kept hitting my tank so I pretended like he'd pushed me off my original course (I was in a T-28 btw) and he kept doing it, I died soon after and literally watched this guy slam right into the back of my dead tank

Man I absolutely love making BMP-2M players' life a living hell with the PUMA. I feel no guilt whatsoever.
The fact that you and Phly can directly influence the meta by posting positive videos on a tank in the same day is amazing.
That said, you should both make some sort of meme tank meta by somehow getting a nuke or something.

Tanks like the Puma are the reason i have no intention of going above 8.0. This does not look fun in my eyes and when the Puma was fighting my french and american lineups that had HEAT ammo playing the game was a nightmare.

No wonder people think the puma is absolutely OP. I mean literally the first match they just...LET you walk right through a, literally not a single person looking over until you killed like 2-3 of them, and then on top of that taking the worst shots known to man. Don't get me wrong it is very strong and 9.3 is...probably the perfect BR for it but the fact that russian teams are just...that single minded to let that happen just further cements the idea that russia literally NEEDS shit at dummy low BR's because otherwise they literally can't make up for their brainlet energy.

If you plan on grinding soviets, play 8.3 until you get to 11.0 or else your win rate will be like 23%. Turms players ruined the tier completely so don’t even try playing from 8.7 to 10.7

PUMA is amazing, but BMP has atgms which are a game changer. If you can't shoot something with PUMA your only option is to run or to try and flank. With BMP you just launch an atgm and there is nothing you can't pen
But the puma has a higher chance to survive and go flank while with bmp2m the missile might as well be your fight opener because if that’s your second strike they’ll kill you surely
I am so excited to finally hop in the PUMA. The grind has been long, though not terrible due to how fun the df105 and the 7.3 germany lineup is.

Watched your vid for like 2 min went into WT used the puma, first game 50 points shy of nuke, second game nuke. After those two games went and took a long shower, sat down and watched the rest of the video...as a german main I can say easy bring the puma up to 9.7 or 10.0 it will still be good also BMP too I guess.

I honestly don't think you would've got a different outcome on that first clip if you'd have been in any other IFV Odd :D (okay maybe the warrior) I dunno what it is but you always seem to get the most oblivious teams that let you sideshoot their entire team away ^^
As survivable as the PUMA is, it's got nowhere near the tools the BMP-2 has, or any other IFV that has a missle launcher tbh ^^ bein survivable is nice but that is depending on getting hit which you honestly shouldn't
You couldn't have done that in many other IFVs, the BMP2m maybe, but none of the other IFVs could have, why? Let's use the Bradley as an example, it takes multiple seconds to deploy the TOW launcher so that is irrelevant for that type of engagement, also doesn't have the speed, and would have also have died after being shot by the T64B so a Bradley would only get one kill in a similar engagement, you can apply the same thing to every other IFV at this BR bar the BMP2M, which could as it can fire all four ATGMs on the move, so survivability doesn't matter for the BMP2M, but the fact that the PUMA somehow survived all those shots in the first clip proves you wrong, survivability is one of the main reasons the PUMA is broken.

Exactly, slow down and go BEHIND your teammate instead of trying to go in front of them without enough speed. They shouldn't have to slow down because you drive out in front of them and feel you're more important.
