Good to see you Jorge (nice images). The last time that I went to the Hollywood beach boardwalk was about five years ago, I didn’t take any photos, but with my wife we ordered banana splits, we should've ordered just one and shared it, they were too big, next time I go it’ll be just photography, I have to watch my girly figure. Speaking of ice cream, I just ordered the XF16-50, I’m not replacing the XF16-80 but I like the idea of a smaller and lighter lens, especially with an internal focusing mechanism. Be well.

Good to hear from you. Definitely take a trip out there to take photos. Not convinced about the new lens. Don’t like the 4.8 aperture on the long end.

@@jrperezphotography I do have faster lenses, but besides the fact that I like new toys, this would be for just walking around during the day when I mostly shoot between f/5.6 and f/8. Speaking of new toys, I just got the Laowa 65mm macro, very well made and sharp lens, but to be honest, I know myself, I’ll probably do some flower or bug “stuff” and then put the lens on the shelf.

@@Enrique-the-photographer If you have the previous model, I would sell it since you are getting the new one. The only way I would get the new one would be in a kit. I’ve contemplated getting the Fuji 80 mm meter macro but it’s very expensive.

@@jrperezphotography I do have the XF80, great lens, well built and very sharp, but I find it to heavy for just walking around, when I get in the mood for macro I use it on a tripod, the Laowa 65mm is a pleasure to walk around with. As far as lenses go, unless there's something wrong with the lens, I keep it. I’ll “report” back when I get the XF16-50.

@@Enrique-the-photographer Look forward to hearing your thoughts on the lens. Do you think you will receive it soon or is it gonna be one of those those Fuji problems where you’re waiting forever?
