Did you do any wet sanding between coats? I just bought this paint and am about to paint my first body and had read somewhere another person suggesting wet sanding. Awesome job and that Capra looks phenomenal!
No, did not do any wet sanding... You need to spray this from the inside of the body, not the outside
It looks fab. Do you have a version of this backed with silver paint? I want a lighter colour change. Overall it's too dark for the build I have in mind.
Unfortunately I have not tried a silver background paint
So the only reason I didn't want this paint is the orange In it. I didnt see the orange!! How did you do that?
If you spray a lot of coats and back it with black color it will come out like this
@@ChrisAsipyan so that's exactly what I wanted to hear lol. I just bought 3 cans of the silver pearl and three of the ultimate black backer. So I'll just go pick up three cans of the color shift today for my c8 body for arrma felony. Thanks a bunch!! Best looking Capra I've ever seen by far!!

Can I just use normal black paint on the backer
I've never tried it, however, these body's are flexible and do flex all the time. The only issue I can think of is that normal paint may crack and chip overtime from all the movement
So you only apply one coat of the actual colour change spray paint?
No.
He said he used 5-6 coats of each.
I did multiple coats
I bought this exact color and followed instructions. Backed it with black and it came out just black.... Where did I go wrong? The shop sold me Traxxas black paint not the spaz one. Does it matter?
Depends on how many coats you did of the color changing paint. I would have done 4-5 light coats of this the used the Spaz Stix black backer
What if we use silver backer? What are the results? Any video recommendations.

Does the mask develop out of the black backer? I don't get it.
How did the protective cover get there?
You don't paint on the outside of the cars clear cover, you paint under it. This helps protect the paint when your car gets scuffed up on the outside.
Does this work on stainless steel?
Unfortunately, I'm not sure. Let us know how it goes if you try it

Nope. this paint is designed for this purpose
The shift is a little too subtle for me, but the videography was done well mate. Spending the time showing the product's information that you're using was perfect. Specifically, lingering long enough that we don't have to pause to read it. One critique; the pauses between each of your statements is a bit long.
