- Today I want to understand how Oogway was able to send a message to Po’s father: Li Shen. How was it possible that this master could reach through the spirit realm into the mortal world? Was Master Oogway able to travel to the panda village? Or was the panda brought into the place where Oogway ascended? By looking at the Kung Fu Panda films and Paws of Destiny, we are able to understand one of Oogway’s grand and relatively unknown abilities.

It's been awhile since I've seen these movies. It makes sense that Oogway sent a message to Li who had to walk all that way to the valley and go back to his home with his long lost son. If this isn't dedication then I don't know what is. Great video as always!!
Here’s an idea for a video: “why did the pandas stop using chi?” or “why didn’t ogway teach Shifu chi?”
Oogway did teach Shifu chi, but it was very energy consuming for him to use it.

volevo solo la fusione lapidot Well if we really are getting a fourth film I would prefer it be set in the same universe but have it focused on completely new characters because I honestly think that they wrapped up Po’s story perfectly with the third movie. It’s the same thing of if we ever get a fourth Httyd movie have it set in the same world but with a new story and characters (though you could argue that we kinda already have that with the Rescue Riders show on Netflix.)
I love this 3rd film. It finally revealed that Oogway was indeed logical when he chose Po. Everyone who lacks knowledge in the power of Po's kind thought master Oogway was just guesting or just chose randomly base on his will. Master Oogway is indeed the wisest of them all.
To be fair it was probably just a gag at the time, but they did connect it well.

Simple. Some of them managed to run away without being spotted. That's why Shen thought he killed every Panda, its because he never saw the other ones who ran away.
@@doveko2007 Not only that, but it could also be possible that Shen was just simply too blinded by madness to just go on the search to find the remaining pandas relentlessly. And that he was being blinded by claiming himself to believe that he completely committed mass genocide of presumably all of the pandas from around China.

I think I want to add the fact oogway and Kai went to the secret panda village hundreds of years ago and when oogway was there (and this is just a guess) that oogway told one of po’s grandfathers about the myth of the dragon warrior and maybe told them to keep that in mind and pass it on in the future.

@@lilenwasnothere6867 I think he knew Oogway would go to the spirit realm in the future, so he counted the days till the Next fight, and spent all his time in the spirit realm, practicing and gaining power for their Next fight.

Wotso Videos you know I think I have an idea for the fourth movie: Chakras. I think that po will reach an higher level of spirituality then oogway, so he would learn Oogway about chakras and that would let po make his own thing. I mean is that the *other* three movies, all those tricks was made by someone else that had already discovered that thing’s full potential, but if “inventing” an new spiritual form of Kung fu, Po wouldn’t be able to ask Oogway of help, only having the choice to HIMSELF discover that new power, that would give him an thing *he* was the first one to do like how that one guy invented that finger hold with capability to send someone to the spirit realm. THAT would truly set Po with those greats and he would surpass Oogway as an successor and help future generations of Kung fu fighters in battles recurring that level of spirituality. *That* would make Po the *greatest* Kung fu master ever.

Cat Litters can have multiple fathers, so there could be two or more (three kittens, three different colors, one of which is white like her mother...so her father probably was as well while her brothers had a different father)
But it goes beyond that-Duchess is proportioned like a Turkish Angora, with extremely distinctive eyes...while her kittens are Not. They’re closer to Persians. Which, in the film’s Time Period Setting, Angoras were nearly wiped out by breeders trying to improve Persian Coats but didn’t also maintain the Angora breed. It actually took a Turkish Zoo literally breeding Angoras to keep the breed from being wiped out entirely.
So. Back to Duchess:
Before her owner bought her, she was being bred with probably MULTIPLE Persian Toms. She’s then bought while pregnant and later has her kittens in her new home. (Or, she escaped while also in heat and Toulouse actually did get some “alley cat genes” like he always wanted. Duchess is then found as a stray and brought to her new home.)
Either way, it’s probably less than Happy since Duchess has NO desire with ever going Outside, and is more concerned with raising her children as pets vs them learning essential survival skills if they were allowed Outside
What happened to the personality of Po's dad in both Kung Fu Panda films? In the second one he was shown as a fierce fighter and father, as he was the one who took the Wolf Boss's eye out, and in the end he seemed like a man totally connected with the universe, but in the third film he's a lazy and primitive panda
I don't think he was a kung fu warrior or something..
He just knew how to hold & use the weapon (that oversized hamster).
Yeah he just knew how to defend his family I think that was the main motivation for the change hes chill and relaxed when his family is not in danger unlike the 2nd movie
Adrenaline. He saw his entire town. MURDERED. He was scared enough that he was acting on instinct. Protect Po. I don't think he ever was one with the universe so to say, but I think his personality remains the same. Caring, protective, and impulsive. He lied to Po, bad idea. But he also took ON JOMBIFIED Shifu to protect his son. Seems pretty brave to me. I mean we act differently in high stakes situations....Li's the same. At least thats what I think.😊
Yep, I do agree that we need more Kumg Fu Panda merch, especially good quality figures! Now its just Tigress & Po funko pops (they are good!!) or some other crapy plastic figures... I want Oogway's or Tai Lung's funko pop :(
i have a mcdonald's happy meal po and monkey from when the first movie had just come out and my cousin's son has all of them i believe. i think they're all in the same poses their dolls are in the movie. pretty much the only thing there is.

I don't think so. The same happened for oogway, and I didn't see any petals when tai lung was skadooshed (was sent to the spirit realm). I think they appear when a person who can enter and exit the spirit enters the spirit realm.

I was five when we went to go see king fu panda 2 and I got so confused about the end and my sister had to explain it to me three times. I still loved the movie and watched it two more times in theater
I saw kung fu panda 2 in theaters, and seeing po's bio dad say 'my son is alive' got me hyped for the third one!

I always used to think that Oogway just contact Li through his dreams. It could be anniversary of the massacre that they survived to remember those that no longer with them. Li decided not to exit his home and mourn his son and wife alone. When he went to sleep, he met Oogway in the Spirit Realm, who pull his mind into it. He told him that his son is alive and that he is in Valley of Peace. He even put the map into his head, so he could find his way. That’s was my theory.
This my head-canon.

How did oogway meet the pandas in their secret village? He visted them a Long time ago, but back then they lived near gong men City, in that panda village poo lived in. And after shen they ran away and started a New City up in the Mountains, and that was after oogway went there, or did the secret panda village already exist? And there was another group of pandas that lived there. I know i'm confusing
Po is younger generation of panda. While on the village this is older generation of panda. We knew Po family live near Gong Men city and his father did not master the chi. So I assume the younger generation migrate to big city to find better life and leave their old method of chi, but when they being betray their going back to where they belong on the mountains. And remember Oogway learn and mastering chi was 500 years ago, that means long before younger generation panda live
The movies and series are inconsistent then. Because in the Legends of awesomeness episode Ghost of Oogway. The real Oogway stands at the peach tree and says awesome before disappearing with the petals in the final seconds of the episode

Honestly, if Oogway was able to ENTER the spirit realm as a mortal, there is nothing to say that as a spirit he couldn't STILL cross that bridge.
It's like this:

He's able to return, he's just not tried it
