There are a few cases of elephants actually using tools in significantly recognizable ways. Theres the elephants that can bob ross style paint, and they do it really well. Another elephant from thailand zoo i think was able to play pranks consistently on his zoo keepers and actively made noises indicating laughter or amusement. They are up there with orcas dolphines, wales, and higher forms of apes when it comes to interactions with their environments

I got to ride right on the shoulders(?) of an elephant, as a little kid. Up behind her ears. I could reach them. I could feel all these huge muscles moving under me. She even made a little sound back when I talked to her. This was 27 or 28 years ago. It's just something I'll never ever forget.

It's really interesting how their legs are structured. Their knees and elbows are shaped way different from other large land mammals. If I hadn't seen this video, I would have thought that a creature their size would hurt themselves falling down certain ways. It seems like elephants catch themselves or even move just right in a way that doesn't hurt their knees. Even the way the baby kicked that guy in the butt at the beginning. He stuck his leg out like how we would lol
