- The Battlefield 2042 season 7 trailer has players diveded. The 2nd Map "Stadium" which is coming later in the season is the issue. Some thought we'd see a brand new map while others are just happy its returning. I'll give my take on it today. I Can't wait to see you on the Battlefield for season 7..

Ive been defending the game since launch and this was a hard blow. 6 month of nothing and we get the same amount of content which is not a lot to begin with is depressing. But more than that. It’s the shady practices of this company that’s really starting to get to me. they sold season seven as a season with a huge amount of content and two maps. That is straight lying. They have tons of skins which most of us don’t give a shit about. We all knew that the stadium was coming sooner or later, but selling it as a new map and keeping it as a surprise. I don’t know what they were thinking. They knew that would trigger negatively to community but they did it anyways. If only they had said nothing, the stadium would’ve been a great surprise. But they keep on wanting to sell us the idea that battlefield is bigger than ever, but it ain’t. It’s on life-support. And they’re not doing anything to help it. The next one better be good.
With that said . This season will add something new and good to the game. it’s just that when you love Battlefield and you get this drip feed of content for 2 years with marketing lies it gets frustrating after a while.
Yeah it's all shite. Seems the higher up decisions are about the income repurposing into something like fortnite.
I mean it's EA and the industry as a whole
These massive developers are going to continue making games this way from here on out. Smaller developer teams are blowing these big AAA devs out of the water lately and it’s great to see. There is zero passion in the big companies, it’s all about minimal effort and time for the most profit rinse and repeat
I love the game and really enjoy playing it how I want. Gives me the freedom of choice

@@jacobsoffroad not looking for a squad. I play my own way, no headset, if I wanna lie down behind a sniper and revive them when they get killed or fly around doing takedowns from behind or sniping from a large distance, this game allows me to create my own fun. I think it’s brilliant

one more thing - I tried flying Sundance like you do, but I am just not that coordinated. Almost landed on a tank and blew it up, but didn't stick the landing. Anyway, I was laughing like crazy, thanks to you.
This guy is my favorite CZcamsr ever in my opinion, I watch one of his streams and I got battlefield 2042 because of him inspiring me to get it and I made trying to play with him but I just can’t, I only wish to play with him.

Great point about people who bought 2042 after stadium was removed! I never spent much time there before (mostly because I don’t play hourglass if I can help it) so I’m really exited to see the reworked stadium!

I started playing 2042 at the end of season 5 and i never got to experience the mountain on breakaway or the stadium (I really hope they add the mountain)

Hi Squid 🦑, I wanted to reach out cause I know todays stream was a bit frustrating with all the hate the game has been getting recently , and well I wanted to sorta remind you that with every season they have released for battlefield 2042 has got nothing but hate. And IMO it’s just for the clicks and like to boost their channel. You’re the only one who has stayed positive about this game and that’s a plus. The ve always enjoyed your streaming and tricks you do cause lord knows I can’t do them. You bring great fun and entertainment to the game even when it was all buggy at the beginning. I feel your frustrations as other crap all over your favorite franchise while you try to maintain a positive outlook on it. I’m sure they’re going to change their tune once season 7 is released next Tuesday. I know I have been sorta a bummer on my comments as well and take it with a grain of salt cause I am suffering major depression disorder. Not sure where to picked it up but it’s been a battle for the last couple of years. So keep your chin up, keep going and we’re here for you. People always wanna be right, and complain about something just to make themselves feel better. Looking forward to your next clips.

What is your graphics settings in game and NVidia?
I love Battlefield and I’m still happy and grateful that season 7 is coming, but the amount of content that we’re getting is not worth the wait that we had between seasons 6 and 7. I feel as though the breaking up of content (Stadium and the new vehicle getting pushed to 7.2) shows how the plan is to split scarce content over a large time instead of just putting more people and money into the game.
To hype up 2 maps just for one of them to be a recycled asset could never bode well for the community and they should know that. They should have just let the Stadium reintroduction be a surprise and people would have been more pleased than they are now.
They need to get their priorities straight. Either they please the community with acceptable amounts of content, or continue to drag the community along with underperforming seasons. If they announce another season and it’S another 6 months of waiting, I can confidently say it’s time for them to move on to the next game.
Sorry for the negativity, but they gotta pick it up already!
Personally I think it would have been a hell of a lot better if they had just kept stadium quiet and released it a bit later on and recoded something like Karkand as the 2nd map. At least then it's not quite as much of a cop out. Still looking forward to a new season mind you.

True. I miss those premium days. 4 maps with more weapons, vehicles, gadgets for every 3 months.
For 2042, I think we will have one more season with 1 map. That’s the end of it.

@@glynbuck9668 I read that they teased it was hourglass from the drawings on the Christmas video. Reddit apparently took that as 2 new maps. Honestly like I said I get both sides of this and sit on a fence 😞
