Rosetta are experimental post-metal icons who formed in 2003. 15 years later, the quintet continues to reach further into the abyss of heavy sounds; pulling from shoegaze, post-rock, hardcore, death metal and ambient electronics to craft challenging, thoughtful records. 2018's Utopioid is a dialectical journey through themes of environmental devastation and the role recent technology plays in our ever-increasing lack of human connection.
Recorded on April 24, 2018 in Chicago, IL.

@@PhobosCollective They mentioned on their site's Q&A they don't have the proper equipment to play Galilean Satellites and I think Mike has implied a few times in interviews that he prefers to move on from from older songs because their narrative/themes are not where his mind is at anymore. Something like that. I feel like they should still invest in the equipment and play for the fans, but I know Indie bands is not a luxury so :/ . I'm sorry but you guys are confusing me so much. who is your Bass Player? According to a gear channel's video from 2015 the bassist is Dave, is not the one in this vid. Off of Wiki, his name is David Grossman, has been in the band since 2003-present. and this video is from 2018. I'm so confused! Lol
