    Really looking forward to this. I grew up spending my summers just up the coast in Kilkee and have spent many days exploring the magical place that is The Burren.

      That looks more like a Legless Lizard's Face than a Snake's... ; )
      Perhaps an introduction from across the Irish Sea ?? We will see... Be Well... And Greetings, from East Texas' Piney Woods...

      ​@@slimbarentseCorrect, it's a "slow worm" (Anguis fragilis) a type of burrowing legless lizard. They are quite a rare sight in Ireland only having been spotted along parts of the west coast. It's assumed they were introduced but nobody's quite certain on that as they are found across most of Europe.
