I Love this themesong it brings back memories of being a 5 year old watching this show and loving it.
This theme was introduced from late 2006. Assuming you began watching the program at that time as a 5 year old, and then calculating to the present (-2 years), that would make you 20 years old when you posted the comment here. Hardly old enough to be looking back already. Just kidding.

So moving. You can’t help but be amazed at the scenes and sounds. It sends me into such a relaxing mood. I love it. It does give me chills every time I hear and see the PBS Nature program opening.

Thank you, this prgram was one of the biggest influcens in my life next to Cousteau, Segan. George Page is sorley missed. I became an wild life guideand video producer as well.

I like the themes from the 80's better, but this version still gets it done.
Yeah but it's too obvious. It would fit right into Lion Country Safri. The older themes were definitely better.

Not hearing this theme for some time, with all the anger and inhumanity to man of recent times, the carefree, joyful, soaring lilt this brings back to memory ... causes happy tears. It makes us remember what is most important in the bigger picture. Seeing all the life that lives in harmony and struggle, yet mutually, reveals just how wrong and destructive we, the most destructive terrors on this fragile planet, truly are.
Awesome video! Each time I hear this “Nature” theme song, even without the visuals, I see in my mind’s eye, the beauty of the African Continent, esp the sub-Saharan region despite all the poverty and endless fighting and wars.
We can either focus on the negative side of that Continent, or we can focus on the positive side if we’re willing to look for it! My favorite tribes are the Masai and Kikuyu native primarily to Kenya, E. Africa. Then the Zulu of S. Africa, to say nothing of the immense and varied wildlife!! Thank you for this video; it warms my heart!

Thank you for posting this extended version of this song and all the beautiful visuals. I tried looking at the credits of Nature and I did not see a name for this song but I did notice original music in many episodes is credited to JB Arthur and Sarah Class - thank you to both of them too!

Nature is so amazing and beautiful as well as cool not only I always loved nature shows Especially the ones from the PBS channel 11 shows not only I loved the critters what they show in it I also love the background music what they putt in it to I bean watching nature documentaries ever since I was a kid Especially the ones from the channel 11 shows 😢❤😊😎👍

I remember watching this back in 2000s and also rise your heads if you grow up with this theme song, coz I did and now I’m here in 2021 yo.
