Samsung A71 is one of the best phone I have used in the recent past. I have used number of renowned phones like Oneplus 8, Oneplus 7, Samsung S20+….But this A71 comes across as a phone with a number of pros. First the screen/display…it is large and vibrant , fantastic for media consumption. Videos look so much better in A71 because of its big vibrant display and nearly invisible unobtrusive punch hole .You are never distracted by its punch hole. Then its battery backup. I don’t understand how it is so much better than Oneplus 7 and Oneplus 8 as these Oneplus phones suffer from heavy battery drain when idle. But in A71 there is hardly any battery drain when idle. Its weight distribution is fantastic, feels so light in hand inspite of 6.7 inch display…only 179 gms. Very rare to find these days. Realme and Xiaomi please note. Camera is superb & mindblowing as usual being a Samsung phone. It justifies the camera hype . In day to day work there is hardly any difference between A71 and Samsung S20+. They look almost same in appearance and performance if u like to overlook the antutu score. Lastly , the fastcharger in the box. It really charges the phone super super fast.
Went right now and it’s 600$ bucks in the USA. AT&T’.. I remeber this was like 400$ max lots of hype seen it nice it was up their with the Samsung s20 and iPhone.

@@zackstrongarm6951 they are pretty much the same but the A71 has a snapdragon processor giving the phone a longer battery life 😁 especially if you plan on using the phone frequently to do the daily task gaming, messaging, use social media etc you would want the A71. Screen resolution and ram is the same though with the Glx note 10 lite and A71 so it’s just your preference

my s8 plus is dying, thinking of replacing it with this one. The big screen and more imporatnly the battery life are what appeals to me.

I switched from the S8 and I am loving it. The only thing I don’t like is the vibration motor is weak. I can excuse this because I get all my notifications on my Active 2

I have the S20+ at the moment and I agree with screenshots being a little more complicated with all buttons on one side but I found out from another CZcams video that all you have to do is slide your hand over your screen and it takes screenshots.

@@peaceandquiet well my friend it depends on your budget. i just bought my A71 on Ebay for $360 and that's a steal!!! the A71 has the best cameras for its price range, but you can always save up a few more dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lite or S10 lite, i believe they go for $450 and have excellent cameras

I think it is a great phone; it competes with the iPhone se and the pixel 3a. Its a matter of taste. The video segment was flawless and with enough info so anybody can make a well inform desition. I like my note 10+ best. lol. Good job and blessings.

I'm using my Galaxy a71 the specs have definitely been backed up and the camera is really nice. The depth sensing camera really comes in handy with real world photos
Great video...I heard the punch hole camera was bigger because dude to the screen size on the A71 they had to make the space around the camera hole bigger. Had something to due with the super amoled display. The macro camera is completely unnecessary imo. I feel like all the companies are doing that because they want to say they have a quad camera setup...most of the flagships get the Telephoto instead of the macro
Yes you are right. The A71 uses the Super Amoled Plus and not the Super Amoled. I believe it is thinner and requires the camera to be larger. I also agree with you that the macro is unnecessary. I have not seen a comment yet saying that they liked it or wanted it in flagships

This seems to be the nest honest review i have seen of this A71 thanks, so maybe you can help with my decision here!? I'm away to upgrade from my A50 next week and I'm torn between the Note 10 plus or the A71! I know what I want, the note 10 plus but is this A71 actually better now? I can't see it as before I was always flagship device's and know they have loads of extra wee features like multi room on bluetooth and wee things like that I miss coming to the A series! There missing quite alot of wee features but it's been ok over the past year! But today the note 10 plus and the A71 are the same price new so you can see my problem here !

I dropped my Galaxy A7 2018 when we went island hopping and it's not working😭. I'm really confused what to buy, thank you for this, I think A71 is really a good choice.
This is a VERY feature packed phone. When it drops to around 250 it's going to be a killer.
Yeah I cannot believe how fast the price is dropping! I wanted to add the price in the video thumbnail or title, but it keeps changing. It was about $400 when I bought it and it is already down $30ish
Got mine half priced @ $300 at t-mobile last Tuesday at their promo on Tuesdays! It was priced at 600, I'm in love. Good camera, long battery life, great features, big screen, big storage amazing phone

October 2020 and I'm getting the 5G version of this phone as a replacement for my LG 6 phone which is having software issues with the charger port. I'm also switching cellular carriers and since I'm replacing a broken phone, I wanted to get 5G capable so that I can use that network when it's more widely available in 2021. Nice video, you covered everything I needed to know.
Been using this for a month and gotta say its been really good.
My main concerns are actually with fast charging, how long will it take to wear out the port and it gets loose and also the macro and night photos are pretty iffy. The wireless charging could save the usb port from wearing out. Switch to normal charging if you dont need it.
fast charging wont damage it nor will leaving it overnight on fast charging. What will damage battery is heat and cold conditions.
Your phone will always charge super fast when low but slows down alot once it hits 80% roughly as it would start to heat up then a bit.
Best to do is always keep it room temp when possible, saves battery life for as long as possible, fast charging wont hurt it, been on fast charging for a year and a half and never had any battery issues.
Great analysis Mike . With the new pixel 4a coming in soon, do you recommend waiting for it or to go with a71. I'd wanna a fairly decent camera n good battery life

Bought it today after my galaxy S9 was dying love it so far, really fast charger, long last battery, great screen, but it cost $600 from the sprint store(now kinda t mobile-sprint store) for water i saw a few great water resistant cases, and last but not least ..this pgone DOEA NOT FEEL MID RANGE PHONE absolutely not it feels like a top of the game pgone, get it!

I Never Heard Of This Phone But I Went In To Do An Upgrade On My Phone And Was Offered The A71. I Really Love It. Just Wish It Was Water Resistant. But Other Than That, Can't Complain 🥰

I am looking to upgrade from my huawei mate 10 pro, which is a great device, The A71 seems good, seeing as though the s20 range so expensive, hope would be an ideal upgrade
I have this phone and it has problems on 5ghz wifi it constantly disconnects when gaming. No issue on 2.4Ghz.
I really like mine. the fingerprint sensor on mine is fine. no problems with it at all. also use face recognition also. I'm not a power user but the battery isn't that good to me but it does charge really fast which i like alot. i would like to turn bixby off but don't know how to do that. I'm a google guy. Love the cameras also. You can also have better sound if you plug in ear buds. You can add more base etc. Great price for the phone as i wouldn't pay 1000 dollars for a phone.

okay, how do I get an A71 in the US with a warranty? I can't find such a thing. Samsung seems to only be offering the A51 - US version. I can't find an answer to this.

Thanks for the review! I have had my S7 for 4.5 years now and getting the A71 tomorrow.. Hope I've made the right decision to go with an A series but did not want to spend a fortune on a phone again.. Let's see how I like it tomorrow. I figure almost anything would be an upgrade from the S7!

@@haiky8104 Well for one it made me realise how behind I was on technology!! It is a great phone that I find suits my needs. The camera is very good, the best shutter speed with sun but on lower light poor speeds and pictures are just okay. I have compared it to my brothers Iphone 11 and his pictures had more colour and depth but with some editing I got mine to look better in lower light. For taking pictures of moving objects like pets or your childrem, I appreciated the single take feature! I have some fantastic photos from single take!! I really like the phone, it is fast and the battery lasts a long time (I take good care of the battery too - dont leave charging over night, etc.) The screeen for watching youtube or netflix is fantastic too and Bixby is okay but some functions are cool like the Bixby routines or asking Bixby to turn on the flashlight.
