- Making wok-fried noodles for even a small family can be a challenge, as four serves of noodles in a wok is far too much volume for most domestic woks can handle. Try this technique to feed anything from 4 to 40 people without even breaking a sweat.

Bless you Adam for finally posting a realistic approach to cooking for a larger crowd.
Edit: and for not editing out the carrot stick that escaped the pot! #truthinasiancooking
Love how relaxed Adam is - so many cooking channels here on CZcams where the host screams and has 'fake' energy to make up for a lack of skill. Adam has skill, and knowledge. #LeGourmetTV
It's like he's just having a chat with you while he's cooking.
Brother's green eats is pretty chilled.
LeGourmetTV Recipes idk. It’s not the same not being called an idiot sandwich y some English fella.
Absolutely.
peaceful cuisine is even more chilled out. anyone who screams while talking about cooking isnt really sharing cooking
I love the comfort of this video. Adam is just so calm and gentle it makes me feel welcome
5:38 RIP carrot slice you will be missed.

I like this guy's vibe. Chilled, friendly and down to earth
I love the authenticity with which you speak and cook. You really enjoy the process. Excellent recipe. Thanks Adam.
This one is definitely going for a test drive this week! Excellent tips - I’ve always struggled to make anything in the wok for more than 2 people at a time. I also love the laid back style that Adam has. So comforting :)
Adam, you’re beyond great!
Can’t find everything you use for your recipes in my counter, yet watching your videos is really entertaining and enriching. Thanks a million! 😊
You package the whole show pretty well. Becoming a fan of yours mate. Keep ‘em coming. 👍

500 grams is standard portion. More and you overeat. Less and its just a snack.
This is currently my favourite show on CZcams. Definitely my favourite cooking show. Just a real cooking experience with expertise and passion for good food done your way. I appreciate all the effort and love what you have been doing. From the simplicity and consistency of the layout and production to the calm, confident and collected delivery. All to make it easy for the viewers to replicate the processes . Almost like a culinary journey. Just amazing work.
I just saw your Laksa video.
Ditto on every point made here! I forward Adam ‘s video to family all the time .... they can cook eat at home like a master chef ....it’s a culinary adventure . Thirty years ago ....not possible but today with CZcams .....yep ! The spices are now so easily available....Asian grocery stores in main stream shopping districts ...you don’t have to go out of your way to buy these items anymore. Love Adam ‘s channel!! I think I need a small fridge for sauces and spices 😊. Hubby says the kitchen fridge is not for 30 bottles of sauces, ingredients ! When you cook all kind of cuisine ....this is my dilemma 😉
I really like this recipe! Ive always had the trouble of cooking a family sized portion of noodles because of the reason you said, the stewing. I don't know why I've actually never thought of cooking this in my dutch oven. Thanks!
Finally got around to cooking this and the family loved it! Thanks again Adam. Cheers.
I keep watching your vids around 1-3am, I will make this, it looks amazing 😍😍

The wait was worth it !!!!!!

Although it’s not the clearest recipe I was able to get all the ingredients and follow the instructions. So glad I did. It was so tasty! My wife and kids loved it. Can’t wait to try another recipe.
It makes me really happy to see an English-speaking youtube channel making great Chinese food. Adam Liaw is the real deal.
New to your channel and love your relaxed approach to cooking large batches. The tip for prepping the vac sealed noodles🙏🏼 Thank you.

or 9
you are so well versed with food literature....so awe inspiring 😍
Great video, will be adding this to my meal planner!
This dish looks amazing!!! Can't wait to try it 😊
Pretty similar technique to how homemade pancit in the Philippines is made. One pot with the noodles cooked in sauce, not wok-fried.
you are so cool with positive vibes
I just tried it today, simple and delicious! thanks
Going through a breakup at the moment and found this channel the other night, I don’t know why but these videos just make me feel so much better when I’m feeling down about things it’s strange but thanks for making them dude they’re a big help
Love your recipe, it's real practical way on cooking Asian dishes for family.
so great to have found ur youtube channel haha enjoyed watching u win the masterchef australia haha :) gr8 video and just subscribed
My mom makes the best noodles! She always makes family sized ones since we're both noodle lovers. Seeing this in my feed reminds me of my mom's noodles, but hers are pancit bihon or a combination of bihon and the stir fry type noodles. And they never break or get soggy! The taste is also just right.
Yum! I love wok-fried noodles and I like it cooked this way. I’ve tried some which are a little on the dry side. I like the flavorful sauce, crisp veggies, juicy meat and seafood on chewy noodles. It’s party in my mouth. Good recipe, Adam.
Thanks for the tip on how to separate the noodles.
Nice! I've been doing "stir fry" at home for years experimenting with different techniques to avoid just making a stew. But this always requires a lot of batches and work.... Definitely will try this approach, thanks!
Adam...I have found a new food God....I love your technique and your attention to flavors. Keep it up, you are the next BIG GUY on the CZcams Food network!
amazing .... seeing ur show make me feel very hungry thanks alot

Hailam noodles!! All time favorite!!
Man I'm not really big fan of cooking Asian food only because I've been staying in South East Asia for quite some time and eating these food often, but I love the way you've cooked and will give it a try.

Thanks for dinner tonight! Amazing tip with the hokkien noodles
Strong Royal Oak game, Adam!
Hello my friend,,...Wow, .....that"s amazing & inspiring recipe, yum yum,😋& thanks for sharing & wishes you goodhealth & Cheers!!😍👍
Man I swear, you master the same few basic techniques and familiarize yourself with the same bunch of ingredients, you can make a slew of Asian type foods. Now his method and advice for large portions was a learning experience, you'll see alot of the same trends. Part of the appeal as well as the apprehension to cooking Asian food. Good job.
Looks amazing
Awesome! Thank you
Hai Adam, this noodles look so delicious. By the way, the cooking caramel that you use, is that the same with kecap manis? I always use kecap manis when i make fried noodles or fried rice.
this guy is very kind boy
Is this guy a master chef winner?
Yes he is
This noodle dish looks sooo good! Call it *Noodle Rock with No Wok*
Adam, l love the way you carefully explain the methods and why the process is done in such a way.... can you also teach how to make Dry.San Nyuk Mein ..... l would love to know how to do that. Thank you
This is the kind of guy who everyone likes :)

Loved the tips on how to break up the noodles. Would never have thought to microwave them! Great video, thanks Adam.
Lee kum kee! Thats my fav oyster sauce ❤️
Mine too!
Wow, a very nice and relaxing guide to cooking a dish! The anti-Gordon Ramsay? But still end up with good food? Haha!
Just one thing - I don't recommend putting that plastic bag in the microwave. Never put ANY plastic in a microwave - even it's reated BPA-free and microwave-safe. There will always be polymers that creep into your food during the process.
I hoped I can learn how to cook before I find your video is enjoyable and use it to loosen me up.👍
that looks really good, Adam. Living in Malaysia, you can just buy this dish everywhere but when i lived in Australia, thats when i learnt to cook mi goreng.
Hey, I'm from Singapore, I learnt how to cook mee goreng in LA! We all misses our soul food don't we?
thanks for showing how to make it
Looks delicious 👌
Thanks a bunch mate. Made it last night. Turned out okayish. N since I m a horrible cook, that’s a fantastic result for me. I added baby sweet corn with all the other veggies tho.
Anyway, thanks again bud. Cheers.
Greatly similar to the Singapore "fried noodles" I cook in my stay in Singapore on diffrence is there is no curry powder, sweet soysauce and rice wine. I usually have an issue regarding mixing with the noodles, is it good to make the sauce plenty so that you can straight dump the dried noodles? noodles will quickly soak up the sauce so there is no need for pre cooking the noodles seperately in another pot
See I always blanched these kind of noodles; there's my problem.
This is really good for a broke student like me. I didnt add seafoods because it's expansive. Added some thai chili for spiciness. and for the last step, add 2 eggs. The eggs make the sauces thicker and added more texture.
This is by far the most educating cooking videos I have ever watched. Much appreciated! Greetings from Indonesia! 😁
Love this. Going to try it for my students. About 20. Arghhh. 😆 thanks
that looks damn good
