    Just got one thrifting for about $7 and it looks new on the inside, just dusty and scratched on the outside, lol works perfect. … I’m here at this video trying to figure out how to put it down so I can vacuum lol so thank you for the information and all the extra tips with the attachments. I got lucky and they were all included and with a brand new filter. I’m saving this video just in case I need unclogging help or something ty !

    My vacuum store sells Dyson vacuums, but I don’t think they sell this particular model. I have other vacuum stores in my area, I’m guessing they don’t have this vacuum either. I do like the tools on the Dyson. Although, my vacuum shop has the newer Dyson ball models.

    Having had a Dyson DC03 & DC04. I NEVER liked these DC33 machines. Felt so flimsy and plasticky in comparison and the cheap plastic wand also felt nasty when much cheaper machines like Vax at the time were using alluminium and still do. I know Dyson wanted to make it as cheap as possible like they still do with all their thin bendy plastics, but we all have our preferences. I did not find that dark plastic made them any better unfortunately, It's just so it doesn't discolour. Also have the veins plastic flash lines on them as well. A friend of mine says if his business produced parts with marks all over them like that, they would reject them. I'm glad that Dyson use aluminium covered plastic on the wands on their cordless machines. I still have a soft spot for my DC04 and wish I still had it.

    Pretty good video but with time like it is I would leave out everything about any other dyson vac.

    Great informative video! Recently I trash picked a DC33 and a DC07 by a dumpster. I watched this vid to see if it's really worth it to make one good one out of two bad ones. I'd like to save the 33, but how does one remove the bearings out of the brush roll? My local Harbor Freight tool store didn't have a suitable bearing puller. What now?

      @IntellitechStudios  Před rokem +2

      I always just replace the brush as a whole assembly, so I can't say for sure

      @@IntellitechStudios One brushroll had good bearings but very short bristles. The other brushroll had terrible bearings but nice long bristles. I wanted to make one good brushroll out of too bad ones. This would have required a special bearing puller the likes of which not even Harbor Freight Tools had. But no matter as I put them on OfferUp and donated them to a mechanically inclined lady who was so glad to get them that she drove about 30 miles one way to pick them up. I also gave her my Dirt Devil Jaguar Featherlite. but not before I featured it in “My 6th Vacuum Competition: Battle Of The Old Bags” (on CZcams, against a Singer 7.5). There are lots of CZcams videos about how to refurbish the DC 33. But I could not find any about how to pull the bearings out of the brushrolls.

    Very heavy. Hose constantly retracts. Upright Doesn’t even fit under kitchen counters. Trying to figure out how to clean filter. This is GARBAGE

    • @IntellitechStudios
      @IntellitechStudios  Před rokem +2

      They make a floor tool that you can use to get into tight spaces. The filter is on the right side, held in by a blue button. Separate the case and pad and wash them until water runs cleaner and let them dry for 48 hours

      Thank you for being so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful in sharing all that you know!! I just got a hold of one of these DC33’s that you have another video on….. I think it’s called the DC33 Full Floor. The unit is very clean and in mint condition!! However I have a functioning problem with mine. The problem is that the Brushroll is not engaging or spinning when it should?? Do you have any ideas on what may be causing this problem?? I don’t have a clue at the moment. Could it be an issue with a switch or possible belt replacement issues? Any way that you can help me or point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!! I sincerely mean this!! Thank You Very Much, Ray!!
