    The bolts need to stay in San Diego.

      Agreed, I heard that their lease ends around 2020 in San Diego, they've got one more shot at getting funding for a new stadium before they can move somewhere else.
      About leases, they're made to be broken, the Colts left Baltimore with two years left and Charm City was left high and dry at the Supreme Court. They did get a settlement where if there was an vote for getting a team back Indy. would have voted in their favor. Modell had a year left and gave the name, colors and history back to Cleveland as a out of court settlement.

      +RichieL1991 They're not cross the river, more like up the Parkway. Most of the Ravens games are on TV in the DC area, because its a secondary market within a 50 mile radius of Baltimore, same with the Redskins in Charm City. But they are different, in what Cowherd said.

    Chargers and NFL...STAY in San Diego!! Build your stadium on the Current Stadium Site, and all NFL fans can continue to visit San Diego for Super Bowl.

    Cincinnati Bengals could move to LA and have 3 NFL teams there, after Cincinnati Bengals might as well finish with a 1-15 record for 2019 season. But I wanted Sacramento or San Antonio (Texas) to have an NFL team there, not Los Angeles.

  • @jironcummings1299
    @jironcummings1299 Před 8 lety +18

    I just don't get it... LA Rams, makes sense because of the history, but still in my opinion, LA doesn't need a NFL team. for one thing, the traffic is horrendous overall and there's multiple things to do at LA besides going to an NFL game. And also, there's still a possibility of the Raiders moving to Texas and chargers are still moving. I mean THAT IS JUST CRAZY!! That's too much to deal with!!!

    • @kennylee7653
      @kennylee7653 Před 8 lety +4

      +Jiron Cummings Exactly this is why I didn't want an NFL team here. I'm happy the Rams are back but our city doesn't need an NFL team. Colin really nailed it about 2 NFL teams possibly sharing the Coliseum with my alma mater USC. I wish the Rams nothing but success and the Raiders & Chargers stay put and build new stadiums. Raiders to San Antonio? Really? I doubt Jerry Jones and Bob McNair would let that happen. Texas doesn't need a 3rd team

    • @rockvilleraven
      @rockvilleraven Před 7 lety

      hengineer They are going to expand StubHub Center to 30000, then they will share the Stadium in Inglewood. If I was going to move the team, it would have been to San Antonio, Orlando or Portland where they have no competition in the market.

    How do the people of St. Louis feel about losing the rams to Los Angeles? Is there any particular reason why St. Louis can't keep the football team?

    • @MJofLakelandX
      @MJofLakelandX Před 8 lety

      +savioroftehuniverse Thing is they could have kept the Rams but it 's always multi-billionaire jackasses tooting the horn of small market cities to large markets and drain every dollar out of the the cities that worked hard to maintain a team there. The Cardinals flocked to a growing metropolitan of PHX b'cuz it's was and still is a *top 10* market. Then there is the Rams. Jacksonville gonna ultimately lose their team because the owners want Greater London.
      It's not much of the fault of STL, it's more-so the ass-hats running the organizations.

    • @hengineer
      @hengineer Před 7 lety

      Andrew Del Pilar annoyed. I have no wish to see football lines residuals painted on our pitch (ugh MLS 0.alpha anyone?), and who knows what else will happen. it's an interesting dichotomy, though. usually its MLS borrowing NFL space (ala revolution in Foxboro or Sounders at CenturyLink), so it's kinda weird it's the other way around. Is the NFL happy about an NFL game in a 30,000 seat stadium?

      Rams were the first team in LA, even before the Dodgers and Lakers. The Raiders got stolen from Oakland in the 80's and the dumb LA bandwagoners rallied behind them because they were good, and when they weren't stadiums were empty.

    • @markula_4040
      @markula_4040 Před 7 lety +4

      Nailed it perfectly. Bandwagoners also rallied behind them because they had a cooler look with silver and black. LA is so superficial. Rams are only going to build a real fan base here if they start winning.

    Love for the Chargers to stay, but let's be realistic. Dean is a business man and SD has peaked and reached its full potential. Just like the Chargers, the Hail Mary will be thrown, dropped and they will move on to a bigger market with potential to make more money. The NFL is a business. I think everyone is tired of watching the same old Chargers with half full stadiums and no home field advantage.

    • @hengineer

      You think LA is going to be better? As Colin said before, there is SO much to do in LA,. the market is already saturated with sports that they just would prefer to root for winners. If you don't win they don't go. San Diego is similar because its such a fun place to live, so much to do, that why bother going if they don't win?

    LA needs at least 3 or 4 NFL teams. The place is massive. I live on the outskirts of London and we have tons of football clubs. 4 teams with stadiums which will hold over 60,000. It's mad that a city the size of LA doesn't at least have 3 teams. It's a huge hub. It's where the money is, it's where the entertainment is and it's where there's a diverse population. LA needs more teams

  • @Stbuster31
    @Stbuster31 Před 8 lety

    I've visited San Diego. I drove past the stadium on a beautiful crystal clear 85 degree day. It looked so out of place. You really can sense the vibe in San Diego. And the last thing you wanna do with that climate is go sit in a stadium watching an overrated sport. Same thing with LA. People are way less concerned with sports.
