  • Today we show you how to save potentially hundreds of dollars on your windshield wipers by refilling them instead of replacing them.. how hard could it possibly be??!!
For almost any car, truck, or SUV that uses blade type windshield wipers, you don't need to replace the whole assembly (many cost $30 or more each!). All you need to replace is the actual rubber wiper itself, and it can be done in just a few minutes by the most unskilled home mechanic.
If you have the same sort of Aero blade type wipers as the ones shown in this video, you can get the refill kit here:
    amzn.to/3V6RPVx
Make sure to order refills 1" longer than your longest wiper to ensure you have ample room to trim them to size!

If this didn't help you out in showing you how to accomplish something productive on your own vehicle, I hope this at least gives you something to amuse you for a little while. Why not check out some of my other videos while you've got some idle time on your hands?
Make sure to like, subscribe, and share if you are a car enthusiast who enjoys working on your own car as a shade tree mechanic or fellow grease monkey, or if you just enjoy watching the misery of trying to keep one of the best driving cars ever produced in actual running condition!
Not even Ratarossa, Scotty Kilmer, The Car Wizard, Johnny the Car Ninja, Hoovie or Tavarish would dare tackle the insanity of resurrecting and modifying a 214,000 mile Corrado VR6 at the same time as a vintage Fiat Spider and maintaining a 241,000 mile 1.8t Jetta while tooling around in a 178,000 mile Mk4 R32 daily driver!! But I'm a special kind of crazy.
If you have an .:R32, Corrado, Fiat, Alfa, or some other weird quirky car that is a challenge to keep on the road, please share in the comments! If you've got a Sequoia, have pity on the other car owners whose vehicles will not outlast the rest of civilization as we know it.

Wow, I’m really glad that I stumbled across this video what a brilliant and creative idea for sure. Replacing the wiper blades for eight bucks instead of spending 30 bucks a piece. This is a deal of a lifetime. Thanks for sharing.
Are those MK1 Audi TT pin style wiper arms?

I know, you can buy two Bugatti Veyrons with all the savings ;)
Yes, they are the Audi TT pin style wiper arms on the Corrado.

@@CliffjumperCars A Bugatti Veyron would be nice wouldn’t it? Especially 2 of them, but in all reality If I had to pick between the 2 I’d rather have 2 Corrado VR6”s than 2 Bugatti Veyrons Any given day! 😂🤣thank you for the confirmation, this video is now that much more exciting to watch because of those Audi MK1 TT wiper arms🥳🎉

@@CliffjumperCars Can you please post the part numbers for the driver side only for the MK1 Audi TT pin style wiper arms? I believe they use 2 driver-side wiper arms for the Audi TT wipers on the Corrado right?

@@Eurospec73 The part # is 8N1 955 407E. Here's one place you can get the Audi TT Mk1 aero wiper arms (you need two of the same part):
      parts.cartervw.com/p/Volkswagen__/WIPER-ARM/67821702/8N1955407E.html
Here's the part# for the Valeo 20" blades that fit these arms:
900206B - you can search this part number on Amazon or various parts sites.
Or you can search for a 2010 BMW X5 passenger side blade.
