It's good to remember to enable XMP profile for the RAM. I've heard of people buying expensive RAM and then forgetting to enable it in the bios.
I thought AMD uses EXPO? And XMP was an Intel Technology?
@@wonderlustgaming8977 He meant the same thing... Its normal to call it XMP profile cause thats what most people got used to call it... Stems from the days when Intel was dominant and AMD barely existed.

I face so long boot times (1min) with this board even with EXPO profile deactivated. With EXPO it needs even 2min. In Autostart all important apps deactivated. So frustrating. Latest BIOS is installed. Ryzen 7 7800x3d, RTX 4090, Corsair Vengeance 6000Mhz 2x 16GB, Someone can help?

PCI Lanes configuration seems interesting, perhaps this allows switching between x16/x0/x4 mode and x8/x8/x4 mode... some people might wonder why one slot is disabled/not working, this could be it... I would also like to have a bios manual in printed form and/or a pdf, does not seem available that a bit of a downside, thankfully there is this video ! ;)
THIS is the video I just spent an hour looking for. While I have been using computers since before Windows was even a thing, I embarrassingly have to admit that I have never flashed bios, I just never had the need. I am waiting on this to be delivered, along with an AM5 Ryzen 9 7900X. Do you have a video showing how to flash the BIOS on this board??
How is the post time for you? Do you have any issues with it taking longer?
You were right there in the menu and you didn't click on it. :( So under this menu: Settings -> Advanced -> PCIe/PCI Sub-system Settings -> What does it have as options for the "PCI_E1 Lanes Configuration" option? Could you show us please? You looked at almost every other option but not that and you were right there in the menu but you just didn't select it. :(

important question to me, how does the mouse movement in gigabytes bios compare to msi? which one has smoother more responsive mouse movement in the bios? it looks like msi from videos. do either have acceleration?
I am having an odd problem with this motherboard . When I cold boot it will post to windows . If I put the pc to sleep and then wake it , it will restart and boot code 00 and get stuck. I then have to unplug and wait 5 mins before plugging in again or it will post to code 00 and not boot. Any ideas ??
Is there any default RAM vendor profiles?
Such shame this board does not support ASPM like most others do.

Is there an option to limit the cpu throttle temperature?
I've actually been researching that since I'm getting my first AMD/MSI build shortly. It's located in Overclocking->Advanced CPU Configuration->AMD Overclocking->Precision Boost Overdrive. Set to manual and you can change the temperature limit. He briefly goes into the menu at 7:44 but never goes off auto to show any of the options.
