    Union electrician here in Texas we don’t use hacksaw’s anymore we use mini band saws. I use mostly Klein tools, have knipex channel locks. Sometimes their jaws are to narrow. Also I have a pair of Klein channel locks in their jobs open up wider for the same length. And I’ve been in the trades 45 years. Nice to see what you guys ,cross the pond use.

    Great video, keep them coming. I never bothered with the Pro Pac, I tend to have lots of separate bags with what I need for commercial/eicr/2nd fix/ grab bag for fault finding etc. Some have duplicate tools but it's faster to pull up and grab a bag for what the call out or scheduled work is than to swap tools over in the rain from one bag to another or carry multiple bags up and risk overloading or putting my back out.

    Yes Ryan! Great video and loadout 👌. I always keep the back of my Tech Pac empty and light maybe some sleeving and grommet strip. It helps keep the weight down. Keep the content coming and show everyone on CZcams (not just IG) what's in your bags!

    That was good mate really enjoyed it thank you. I’ve never seen them Knipex coppers. Lovely tools I’m glad I never bothered with the Fluke T6 testers is exactly what I thought would happen. I use the fibreglass fully insulated knipex Every day for testing smashing bit of kit

    • @RDavisElectrical
      @RDavisElectrical  Před 2 lety +3

      Thanks Andrew. Yeah the T6 is a complete waste. I picked the croppers up at CEF once, haven’t seen them since 😂

      Nice set up Pal! Enjoyed that! I Agree about the T6 lad I work with has them and says he never uses the functions & basically could have down with the T5s! They are the best testers out there for me!
      Like will I use the insulated pliers for testing especially if you’re having to fish round a messy board etc. That took check plus has to be one of my favourite tools, for me out of loads of tight spots.

    +1 on the plastic needle noses, love them for moving about wires without tearing the insulation on the wires

    I used to us a similar knife with a black handle, it was in all of the wholesalers at the time, We work in a lot of live boards, those Knipex long nose have been a great purchase. As for the Fluke T6 i concur the field sensor is a bit hit and miss, i prefer the T5's. i think id like the ArmourSlice as well, doesn't look too much like an Instagram tool. You didn't mention the little can of spray paint.......awaiting 29 more tool bag videos........loading in.....3,2,1

    Great loadout. I love Knipex and Veto. Vetos can hold a TON of tools if loaded properly and this is a good example. My Tech Pack MC backpack weights right around 50 pounds and it is not overloaded. Just loaded with thought behind it. I'm a diehard Vito fan. So long as the man is around ensuring his products are up to par I think it's a very bright future for Veto.
