  • if you're a flashlight enthusiast you will certainly love this little thing.
the E10 from Acebeam has a type of TIR optic that helps increase intensity. a long with a very small led which also plays a part in a high Cd rating.
Acebeam claims this light to be 760 lumens, but some reviews indicate that its only producing about 550-630 lumens at startup, however this isnt a big deal at all due to the fact that some reviews also indicate that the Intensity is around 122,000-129,000Cd
so while the output may be less than Acebeam claims it to be, the sheer intensity is much higher than Specs. so its still a win all around. i love this thing for what it is. I have no complaints at all about this light. it gets a 92% for me.

Thanks for this. There aren't many reviews. I bought one after seeing a review from Scannerguy69. It's a tiny monster of a thrower!

Hah funny you mention that because his video was the reason I got mine lol!! His is certainly better than mine. I really appreciate it though 😁

🤔 The throw distance is impressive, but there seems to be something 'missing' in the two E10 beamshot videos I've watched thus far. It appears to be missing a 'spill beam'! Granted, CZcams "flashlight beam shots" videos are notorious for NOT really providing a realistic, accurate representation of a light's beam characteristics or tint. Nonetheless, if this light produces a spill beam, it should be more visible in these videos.
❓Am I correct in assuming that ^this light has almost no spill beam? If so, that will dramatically limit its usefulness for the basic needs of the vast majority of regular folks. With a laser thin throw, but no spill, it would be a specialty light.
🚫 But if I'm wrong, and the spill beam is just hard to see(because its youtube), then I take it ALL back, and I'm an idiot! 😁

actually thats the crazy thing about TIR optics. this particular light along with my L17 and L19 dont actually have a spill at all due to them not having a traditional reflector. youre certainly not an idiot, it just doesnt have a spill. TIR optics are designed to capture all light including from the spill and concentrate it into one hot spot. I will say that youre right, this light certainly wasnt designed to do close applications with spill in mind. :)

So, of the small lights put on the market in the past year or 2, which pocket sized light would you recommend that has a decent spill beam and a moderate amount of throw? I bought a Jetbeam Jet II MK in 2017, but lost it 2 years later. It had an XP-L HI, which gave it a useful throw and a decent spill beam, with a perfectly neutral white tint. I also had a Thrunite T1 which kinda replaced the Jet II MK, but it's got the larger XHP 50 LED, which unfortunately leads to extremely weak throw, but a wide spill beam. It's tint is almost sickeningly yellowish, which also reduces its brightness.
There are 2 qualities the T1 has that the Jet II MK didn't, the ability to recharge with a micro USB cord, and a strong magnet in its tail, allowing you to attach the light to anything made of steel. Id like something with the qualities of an XP-L HI, with decent tint and throw, and the ability to plug in a charging cord, and maybe a magnet in the rear. Preferably a single 18350, 16340 or 14500 sized light.

@@HighlanderNorth1 as for the first question, I absolutely love my Acebeam TK18 Osram version. but i have a friend who has the Olight M2R pro which has a really good spill and decent throw as well. the problem is that their are so many lights nowadays and its hard to recommend anything since i dont have the ability to try out every light, but I have been an enthusiast for 20 years so im usually pretty good at determining which light can do what, with that being said, any pocket light would be great for what you want as long as it doesnt have a large LED because that will kill the ability to throw. yeah that T1 is a really cool 1500 lumen light but yeah that 50 led is huge for such a small light. Truthfully your best bet is a small Olight Baton like the Baton 3 with the luminus emitter. or the Acebeam TK17-Al (Osram) option. Imalent has great lights as well but that company is one of the newer brands. another cool light is the Nitecore TUP. mine is the 1000 lumen XPLV6 and its got decent spill even for being a TIR but its throw is great too and its small. hope all this helps :)

Thanks. I discovered the (quality)LED flashlights in 2011, so it's been 10 years for me. My 1st ever LED flashlight was a Jetbeam BC-10, with an XP-G R7, which ran on 1 CR123 or 16340. It had only 2 settings, 30L and 270L in a twisty design. It had good throw, a decent spill, and a neutral tint. I joined cpf about this time, and regularly posted and commented there (HighlanderNorth).
But soon after, I began "collecting" LED lights. I pre-ordered the first Zebralight SC52 in Oct 2012, and it became my EDC light for 2 years, til I lost it. It was replaced by my Spark SL-5 220cw, which ended up having garbage side switches that broke in 2 months!
When the Spark light broke, I just started carrying my Zebralight SC600 in a holster. Now it's the T1, which really doesn't "seem" like 1500 lumens on turbo.
