I want a better thrower. I have the older ace beam K60, hits 700m. I’ve drooled over the k75 but honestly here the beam profile seems so tight that the actual beam would seem to make the target not visible. Is that ever the case?
And what 1500m+ thrower would u recommend?

how long does the battery last on its brightest setting? Is it useful for walking around, or just long distance? Which really bright torch do you recommend these days?

This torch is category Mega Thrower - for extreme distances, its not practical for walking - its beam is tight and too bright for short distances, also the flashlight is too big for that.Turbo is 6300 lumens, but it sustains them for around 5 minutes, because of the heating it goes to a bit lower mode. This flashlight can sustain 3000 lumens non stop till the batteries go down.Acebeam K75 is the best thrower at the moment for me - its the most compact in the Mega Thrower category with beam distance of 2500+ meters

If you want a good EDC-able flashlight for walking in the forest or city - check out the latest Acebeam model - E70.For me its the the most beautiful flashlight in the world - you got Cu,Ti,Stainless steel and aluminium version there - 4000-4600 lumens on turbo with big 5100mAh 21700 battery that has USB-C charging and power bank function.

@@gial8862 if you mean X80 or X80GT those are completely different lights than E70.X80GT is 32500 lumens ultra powerful ken sized flashlight.
