I visited that store in 2020 and was blown away by that card wall as well. I wasn’t expecting to drop that much money but during that time it was also hard to find baseball cards. It definitely made the trip very memorable for me.
It's unfortunate that the store wasn't there back in the 80s when I lived there in Brooklyn.Even today I'd spend my entire paycheck and still would not get everything I wanted,lol.Great video Erik ,enjoyed it very much.I look forward to the other NYC videos.

Nice Miguel Batista hit! 2021 Topps Archives will always be my favorite because I pulled a Big Foil Nolan Ryan auto in a $20 blaster from my local Target.

This was an awesome video I lived in NY all my life and recently moved to Florida and I used to go to the MLB store to get my cards and hobby boxes blasters etc now with the pricing they usually have a paper on the side or in between each section to let you know when the price of the cards are I missed it a few times myself I thought I could see it on your video but no luck…it’s an awesome store little pricey on certain things but it put a smile on my face to see this store again great video

Epic Stuff Erik Ever At MLB Store Ever Saw Enjoyed This Tour A Lot
Wow, couple of great cards I saw. The Ohtani patch would have been amazing to pull when I opened cards with three Japanese College girls that I picked up after their first Baseball game(Angels at Athletics). They were only there to see Ohtani, and had never seen Baseball cards. Then there was the gold DeGrom, he's a Channel PC over here(after pulling his mini out of a Pujols Rip Card)
Never been to New York, lots of really cool stuff in that store. Great video Jabs!

The team store at the stadium in Seattle has an amazing selection of hats for all teams too. Home, away, and others.

I visited last week. They had half off 2021 blaster boxes. I pulled a Mike Messina auto out of an Archives box.
Here's the one thing I've noticed when opening up packs now (and I'm guilty too): It's just shuffling through, looking for inserts, and if they aren't there, the cards are basically tossed to the side. Sure, there might be a rookie you come across you wanna put in a penny sleeve or top loader. But it's almost as if the rest of the cards could just be blank pieces of cardboard. It's just something I became aware of at this moment. Anyway, cool video, as always.👍

I was just in that store for my Bday a month go. I got a Mega of topps chrome anniversary and I’m hooked haha pulled a Griffey Sr auto and was so stoked. I love that store

I DID build a GOLD set /2021 series 1. I opened about half of them, and had to go to eBay for the rest of them. I spent approximately $4,000 total. It was HUGELY fun to put it together. However, cause it was 2021 series 1, it wasn't super valuable. Ended up selling for for under $500.
