Just want to point out that heat lances are now heavy, so if you move with reavers they are -1 to hit with the heat lances! (unless I missed something).

The skill ceiling for dark Eldar is very high but if someone can master it, they're probably one of the most powerful armies in 9th

Yes, an heat lances are D6 + 2

Great batrep! Love seeing Matthew get salty lol. Unfortunately mandrakes aren’t core so they don’t get reroll ones to hit or wound from archon
They're not affected by the Archon's Raid Mastermind ability, but they are affected by the relic. So they wouldn't have been able to reroll the hits, but they would've been able to reroll the wounds.
Its weird. On his channel Skari looks older. Here he looks like a 19-20 year old kid playing some 40k. XD

Green Goblin is way older than Hellions. It is pretty clear he's the inspiration for the Hellion. Which I love as a comic fan and a Dark Eldar player.

When your models dies in close combat and "shoots or fights after death" you can actually shoot your bolt pistols instead of making weak str 3 attacks

I just got through the introduction of the armies. A little mad at how much better Drukhari are than when I played them in 6th edition. You kids have it sooo easy!

Ouch mortifiers do get the keywords it's penitent engines that don't I believe.
they don't get order. they do get "adeptus sororitas" so certain strats work on them

Not unless you had them in a separate detachment of regular Eldar. They can be run in the same army, just not in the same detachment

Every time I hear someone say "Real-space Raiders" it makes me think of "Great Space-coaster" in the musical sound.
I find it strange that Incubi have better morale than the "Fearless" Space Marines. Mostly because with most SM having a leadership of 7 and Seargant's with 8, they don't exactly feel like they are fearless.
Although ignoring attrition and usually being in smaller squads or having a chaplain close helps .

I think Matthew's argument about cocked die only causes more confusion. I mean to me example of what to them was cocked and what is not is just the same thing.
By my standards if it's not completely on the mat, then it is cocked. This way it's crystal clear for everyone.

Hate to be that guy but dominions can advance in pre game move. Check out of phase definition, description of dominions ability and what "move" is.
This was tackled in the faq .
Not anymore. Now unless specified a move is a move, and cannot advance unless specified. So they get base movement characteristic.
Years ago I was in a D&D group with a hyper OCD DM who would say a die was cocked if it was partially on one sheet of paper. I experienced that once and quit that group.
Those dice rolls are sketchy at.

Can a combi bolter actually activate holy trinity?
Why wouldn't it be able to? As long as you fire bolter, flame, and melta, it works. It doesn't mention whether they have to be from different weapons.

On one hand, the power balance between 8th and 9th ed books is pretty bad. On the other hand, I love how everything murders everything in this edition. I can't wait for every army to get it's new book.

The placement of the venom in Turn 2 seems a bit odd. Barricades are unstable, therefore models can't end their movement atop of them - or is there an exception for Models that can fly?
