when I 1st heard it in the credits of the movie, I thought it WAS David Bowie, heck he was still going then so I thought he had done it for the movie, had to find out later when looking up sound track, not on line, it wasn't around much then. here

I’m afraid to admit that I actually heard this version long before I heard Bowie’s. I was 13 when Godzilla was released and when I got the CD this track originally appeared on. My musical tastes were still growing and evolving.
In the years since, I’ve heard and LOVE Bowie’s original, but this version has a very special place in my heart. It’ll always be my favorite.

I know it might not be a popular opinion but this is the best version of this song. Bowie is obviously unbeatable as an artist. But Jakob and the boys took over this song and truly made it their own.

I don’t care what people say, I love godzilla 1998, and it has nothing to do with nostalgia. I genuinely think it’s a fun popcorn monster movie, that is not as soulless as people made it out to be.

My friend had his 13th bday party the summer this was released and he got multiple Godzilla soundtrack CDs as gifts. He must’ve got at least 5. Good memories.
I remember going to Record Town specifically to buy this CD. You couldn’t escape the marketing of this movie even if you tried.

THE TUNNEL SONG!! I just watched this movie (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) for like the hundredth time last night. Still cried like a baby. I love that movie so freaking much. I don't care what anyone says. It's incredible!! So touching and inspiring. Everyone should see this movie. I love this song. It does make me feel infinite! When me and my friends can drive, we are going to do what they did in the movie to this song.
