I have not tried the mahogany top but have a cedar topped (mahogany b&s) equivalent and find it to be a resonant and easy to play instrument. I have three OMs and have noticed that the Furch is slightly shallower (in the body) which makes it easier to hold without any apparent deficiency to the sonic output. If , like me, you prefer simple well constructed instruments without being seduced by abalone or pearl inlays, this may be the instrument for you.

Any thoughts on this model vs the Green OM-SM? Obviously, they have different tops and from different ranges, but it would be great to get some insight on the two from someone who’s played them, to get the story behind just the difference in specs.

Do you like the Furch more than the Martin OOO-15M? What is the difference between the two?

How would this guitar compare to a much more expensive 000-15m? I ask because I want to buy the martin, but can only afford the furch. I tried the martin in shop and loved it, but they dont have any furchs. So I contemplate whether I should save up or order the furch to test it out.

I've had both. Honestly, the Furch is built better but the Martin has that Martin sound
