Chris, I know you probably will never read this message, but I got to get this off my chest. I just recently became a huge fan of yours, I'd say about 5 months ago. I've seen a ton of your videos and you are by far one of the best magicians out there... not only that your a cool dude too! However, this video in particular touched my heart! Since Christmas of last year, my dad has fought through Stage 4 Liver Cirrhosis, it was so bad that I thought we were going to lose him before 2018. He has also fought and won against Prostate Cancer, and just had hip sugery (which the ball joint popped out of socket a couple days after surgery). I say all that to say this, you make the impossible, seem possible... not only that, you explain how it can be done. Also, I would love my dad to get that feeling of amazement, as I do watching your videos... wether it be solving puzzles (which I personly love) or your magic (which I'm trying to learn, by my fat fingers get in the way... haha). My dad, is my best friend, and he's been through a lot. To see a smile on that mans face is such a gift to me... because it was almost taken away!! Thank you, and please keep up the wonderful work you do!! Semper Fi my man!!
Nothing is "Impossible. The word itself says, I'm Possible". Keep it at bro.
idk why tf this comment hasnt got like 20k likes . im sorry about your dad though
He has shown and said hand size is no obstacle. Keep at it brother.
Hey drama queen, nobody cares about your daddy issues. Time to put your big girl panties back on dude. Man up and keep your fam business to yourself
Don Lorenzo bet you wouldnt feel that way if your dad was in the hospital kiddo, keep your mouth shut it aint your place to speak.
Bruh those people were calm af. If I saw that I'd be hoppin round and screamin. Good job, keep up the good work man
So you would be overreacting.
This is the real reaction when you do street magic. No one in their right mind will jumping around screaming. They will be surprised and try to solve the magic tricks. Sometimes they will ask you to do it again.
My favorite reactions were yours Chris. The look on your face when you see their reaction, you can tell you absolutely love every minute of what you do and it fills me with warmth every time. God bless man.
That one brunette girl holding the red pack is all like, "I'm not going to let him see that I'm having a great time. I'm not that easy."
Bro that girl in gray didn't give any fucks like she wasn't impressed at all
+Marlon Uballe Every person reacts in their own way. Maybe she is shy. Maybe when she went home she couldn't stop talking about what she saw that day. That's what makes us different as individuals I guess.
+Marlon Uballe she hot tho
+Fahim Kazmi ..I like you...
+Fahim Kazmi no she was just uninterested, no way she went home and thought anything of it
+topnotch3232 woww dude. I didnt know you could read minds through the video ;)
people dont like long tricks, even tho i really like the trick you did in the middle, i realized people lose interest in tricks that take longer than 1-2 mins.
@Jeff B r/iamverysmart
No time span to comprehend too much especially for tricks 💛💛
Ya but the suspense is the best part
If your interested on how to make an audience keep interest on the trick your doing you should read the book the magic rainbow by Juan Tamariz.
Jeff B ahahahahahhhhahahahahahh
That woman in the grey dress has the most dull personality ever. That was an awesome trick cmon!!!
People are trained to be dull these days
Tristan slap the shit out that bitch
I agree...
Why everyone have to be the way you want! Maybe she is having a bad day or simply she don't like magic at all (my son for example, he don't enjoy magic tricks, he thinks they're boring) and you can't blame him for that! You ashole
@@aliadosmc Giving credit where credit is due is not "a way" it's being decent. This was an amazing trick and Chris was giving his all to the performance. She comes off as condescending.
"You can leave the roll of quarters in there" 😂😂😂
This was great! Loved it!
yeah i love your video also
i like ur vidro too !
Christopher I'm from India and I'm watch your all videos
I'm big fan of u
The pure joy :) it brings others and brings me. I cried at the end. Been fighting alcoholism and epilepsy. Yes connected probably. Help me more than you know man. So much love

Okay i definetly will

Stumbled on this old video. You Came a long way, so glad you’re still doing something you’re passionate about and love. So inspirational
Chris, your performances during vid were outstanding, genuine and highly skilled.
You have put years of arduous work into perfecting your craft. You are a credit to all that have come before;however, many thousands of years have elapsed.
Man, who wouldn't dig this???
Please continue!!!
Already back then a true visionary! and now ... 5 years later, this man has the audience he deserves! 2.5 miljon people supporting his passion . Stay true to what you love Chris! We'll support you! #RamFam
Wooo, whoooo, whoo, whoo🎶
Wooo, whoooo, whoo, whoo
Finally made it to the end or should I say the beginning of the Chris Ramsay journey. It's been a true pleasure. Thank you
So good to go back and look at these videos. Seeing where Chris is now and his personality now compared to where he was just 6 years ago. Such an amazing and awesome progression
Amazing video and inspiring to me. I have some friends and people that think im stupid for wanting to learn magic but this inspired me to keep going. Thanks so much, amazing words, magic, and amazing inspiration! :)
Keep at it!
Chris Ramsay Thanks so much
Yeah keep going! I did it but stopped for some reason but after watching this guy I really want to get back into magic and cards
Butterfinger Cuber Ya me too :D
this was inspiring
I'm watching 5 years later, still fresh and amazing, also what's the name of the music?
The description says it's called epidemic music
2023 and still you're the best for me. Miss your magic videos bruh.
Every after Chris does a magic trick, his genuine and humble laugh in the end is so cool and amazing, even to this day. Such an amazing and genuine person
Loved it.
Thanks, Ollie!
The narrating is the best part!!!!!!!!!!!
ollie mealing my man I'm such a huge fan I'm from South Yorkshire uk so I guess you live in London bro keep up the awesome videos love them
Great cinematography & camera work. I felt like I was watching a TV show.
hey chris, you not only bring smiles to the audience you work with but to many people out in the world. I'm from South Africa and i really enjoy your videos and it bring so much joy and inspiration. I really want to learn these things and bring just as much smiles to people here as you have over there. Youre an awesome person and dont you ever change. Keep it up buddy
you bring a whole different meaning to magic for me dude I started with your videos and I've been doing magic for a month now and I've learned so much from you on the morals and the meaning of magic I've been depressed for most of my life and since I've discovered magic my life has changed so much, just bringing joy to someone's face with the simplest things as magic doesn't just make there day but it makes mine. keep it up man and don't let ANYONE bring you down, we might not know each other in person but just know that you have brought someone out of the depths of hell and brought him up thank you so much for everything
This video got me so emotional, YOU ARE SUCH A GOOD PERSON CHRIS, I LOVE YOU!
4:46 "dont show it to me" girl just gives him the card faceup lmao...
I love you Chris. I am a grown ass man whom your video's continually bring to tears. I love your content.
been watching your videos for about 3 months now, ripping through your content voraciously. but this..... this just about brought a tear to my eye.
Love your philosophy about magic.
I loved your take on all those tricks!!! Definitely going to steal a few!! Thank you!!
*Chris I was getting demotivated about magic, but then I watched this video! Chris has something! something inspirational, something magical, Thanks Chris!!*
I want you to know that this video has changed my life... you’re an amazing person and I love how much you make people see outside the box and use their imagination I love you bro!!!🙏🏼🔥
It's so cool to see your older material, to feel that wonder with the art.
To experience your origin story.
As a magician of 5 months, this really inspired me to get on the streets to perform. Hopefully I will soon!
I found you a few days before, and man... You are soo cool. not just by your tricks, but as a person.
keep it good man!
Keep doing what you're doing man. It's so cool to see people react like that and sort of surreal at the same time. It makes them happy and it makes me happy
I came back to this, scrolled through your videos, watched it, and have seen you came a long way, you've done so much and you've made enjoyable content I can sit back and just relax to. This is beautiful.
so this is what Ragnar Lothbrok has been up to....
1:17 i guess it was in that moment when chris put the piece of card in his pocket, AMAZING performer and acting, hands down.
I bet you're 100% correct. He's holding his wrist and moving his arm, that makes a perfect distraction to slip the piece into his pocket without noticing.
I think, this is the greatest monologue yet on the subject.
Wow! 9 years later. This video got me to begin my journey into magic 5 years ago and it continues to inspire me!
had to sub!

3:12 That old man had me laughing 😂
Such an inspiration for us all man, truly you make this world a better and magical place, thank god for your life, Chris
Thanks for sharing this, Chris. Your words describe the exact reason for why I love doing magic. I love seeing people’s reactions and the joy and amazement on their faces.
8:28 was my favorite part where he said "I trusted you"
I fell absolutely in love with this video. I've always wanted to become a magician, but I always though to myself, "what if I mess up?" or "what if I don't have enough faith to proceed on if I fail?" I just want to be a great magician, and be known for who I am, and what I do. Thank you Chris for bringing outstanding magic into this world. And do you know the piano melody, I want to use it in one of my magician videos someday. Thank you again Chris for the outstanding magic you bring to the world.
Remember this
"A good magician changes effects, a great one changes audiences"
Cheers!

You know a lot of CZcams's are in it for the money. When you see a video like this you can see someone who is truly sharing their feelings, someone that has passion for the art. Chris here has just shown that, the true passion of making people stop and enjoy and smile.
Jesus man. By far some of the best showmanship I have seen in ages. If you ever come to Texas I would definitely love to watch in person
Awesome tricks I never seen like this before.make more long street magic videos.
As a magician i would like to say that the first explanation about "What's Magic" was amazing. You really got it!
Honestly you have inspired me to do card tricks and I want to see people smile when I do the tricks for them
this is still one of the most inspiring street performance videos I've EVER watched! the music choice and monologue at the start and the performance :O
Lovely.
Felix Bodden you here nice😎 have in a flash at home😎
Mr. Ramsay, this is by far my favorite video of yours! :D
I mean, sure, your other videos are incredible too, but this one is so inspiring, relaxing, motivating and just beautiful at the same time! I think, you're my favorite magician, because I love how natural you deal with the spectators and they seem really focused on what you're doing there and they make an happy impression on me. :)
Keep up what you're doing, cause you're amazing! ;D
+Cyan Dreams
Oh! And your thoughts about magic are truly a red pill... ;)
I love this video, the magic and the words by Chris....so beautiful.
Can't believe that Chris can this motivating... I gotta say Chris I'm inspired and I loved it...
"You can leave the roll of quarters" lol
BRAVO!!!!!
Ray Charles Milord HVALA!!
I know this is a really old video, but I just watched, and now I wanna cry, god damn Chris
Magic is such a beautiful craft. I remember how i felt when someone performed a trick i learned barely 2 years ago. And the trick was done in front of me when i was probably 14 years old. I'm 27 now I wish I had practiced more of it. Because it's people like Chris Ramsay that make the world a whole lot more interesting. And better. I have not a clue what his budget is but South Texas needs people like him. There might be one guy out here as we speak perfecting the craft enough to perform but until that better magician pops out. I'll do simple simple slight of hands every now and then. The one I'm trying to perfect now is a coin trick, but it just falls everywhere each time.
Amazingly good! Too bad that some people in the vid almost don't react. You should try other neighborhoods, like the outerskirts of a city.
Dude this is amazing !! May I ask which camera was used for the video
5D iii, and thanks!
@@ChrisRamsay52 u replied?
Chris Ramsay deserves to be known more than he is!
Really a big inspiration for me!
Always remember that "Magic is not only a trick"
cheers.
you are right and wrong yes magic isn't only a trick but an illusion and mind game that is how all magic works coming from a magic myself if you have any questions on how to perform some magic tricks lmk and I'll explain all of it. 😀
discovered you recently Chris, gotta say I really enjoy watching you do your thing. you have a great presence with your audience. I look forward to more from you.
Awesome !
But whats the name of that song in the background ?
How to do street magic-
1. Follow Crowley's teachings step by step.
2. You have a demon helping you do the magic.
3. Finished!
5. Don't forget your Crowley t-shirt
LOL
I just wanna say thanks for all the inspiration and tutorials. I love learning and practicing. You are a great teacher
Ive been binge watching you for about a week now since you randomly poped up in my suggested. Now seeing this old video i can see a huge difference in your videos and magic. Good looks man
So strange not seeing tatted hands.
I need tutorials, imagine how many numbers I could get with this😂😂😂
Thank you Chris for everything you have done and continue to do, you're amazing.
The in-their-hands magic, and the slick edited POV filming aside, I loved revisiting my old 'hood with you. Thanks, and well done!
if you literally had to choose one thing to keep in your life chess or magic...which would you give up forever.
Life
chess, coz i cant play shit
Chess im sure i can get over it
theres somthing about david blain and his lack of expression and confidence that makes it more believable than an enthusiastic performer, just my thoughts
You have a good point there!
That's what I've been trying to tell people who tell me to "be more energetic" because the first time I watched David Blaine, because of the way he acted, I believed he was supernatural...lol
Ive always said the same thing!! Not only more believable, but also more interesting and entertaining to watch in some way.
Blaine lets his magic play out and doesn't push the story. Basically lets the audience draw their own conclusions. It's a really effective way to perform.
I don’t believe Chris is trying to prove to his viewers that he has magical powers. For him and for I believe most adults it’s more about the performance and the skill needed. That’s just my option though. A bit late I kno
Its really cool seeing how far you've come as a performer over the years
Great monologue, super sound track. Greatness through humility...
Watching this in 2019 so weird seing you with out all the tats on your hands
2019 team 😂
Chris, love the comparison you make between that "false last step" and the reaction from an audience member.
Every time I see a Magic trick that appears impossible I feel completely unhinged from reality, not even knowing what to say or think. Thanks for being so real, Brother.
Dear Chris, I loved this video! You have a gift I pray you use it to continue to bring joy into peoples lives ❤️🙂
at 1:17 u see him put the paper in his pocket before he starts the trick
joshua roldan holy sheet main you was right hahaha lol
Hey Chris what is the music in the video.
Yeah plz tell me
Watching this in the future when I know how half those tricks were done, I still can't spot the moves I looked out for 🤣🤣 super smooth! My favourite magician on CZcams ✌🏻
Well said, and you are the reason people have a smile on their face that day. You can change someones whole day, just by pulling them aside, and brightening up their day when they are down.
HOW DO YOU ONLY HAVE 3,350 subs???.... People should carrying your message around like it's a disease!!
Danny Frosch just found this dude and you must have been a long fan of his since he is now 500k
Now 2.8M.. :))
Slips piece of card into his pocket at 1:16, gives spectator illusion of picking card by saying "tell me when to stop" (even though magician stops on per-determined card), rips card but keeps in left hand and holds behind card at 1:37, disposes when he walks to the left side of the 2 guys at 1:50, app already has per-determined piece of card on it, swipes, and finds piece of card in pocket. The magic is in the charisma and control of audience with minor slight of hand. Not every one can do magic, but this guy has charisma and control.
Congrats👏👏 bro you just revealed a trick. Eventhough your guess is completely wrong.
Kris Novak That is really unnecessary. It'd be awesome if you don't try and reveal tricks; thanks.
That is so poor...
Can Kayaaslan No he's right. David Blaine did this trick
I don't care if he's right or wrong about the reveal. Plainly, I find it rude to watch someone preform magic and give the trick away but hey maybe that's just me.
I want to learn those kinds of tricks, unfortunately I know some alright ones. I love magic and I love how people react when you do something they don't expect, especially when you 'mess up' I work at a gas station, so you know I ain't doing good in my career choices, but I started learning how to do actual magic in order to make every trip a customer has a special and unique one.
I must admit my heart gets warmer every time someone says "you just made my day so much better!" or when little kids have that sense of wonder and they're just genuinely blown away and they just high five you, give you a hug or just brag about you to their friends at school.
I love how magic touches people and they just genuinely become happy. Pass those smiles around more often!
Man I've been watching your vid for 3 weeks now and I love your channel, thanks so much man you really inspire me when I was a kid I was living in the country where you can't buy or do what you want unless you work hard for it and because of that I couldn't do magic even though I wanted to, I remember when one my cousin did a magic trick on me when I was with him I was so amazed and that's the feeling I want people to feel to feel happy amazed like your back being into your old self and now I'm in Australia I'm finally get to do magic thanks to your channel you help me a lot 🙏🙏👍
