I'm the black boy in the striped brown jumper. I remember some people came to the school and said they wanted some boys to play football, but didn't want "good" players, but just those that could kick a ball about. I got chosen and we got a day off school and met Bobby Moore. All of the boys playing, including myself for came from Essex Road primary school in Manor Park and it was filmed behind the old West Ham football ground.

john mercury then they would just kidd on they were held back and just stop playing. ye dont need to dive to get a free kick. come on john wake up son. ye have to play the game with the best to know all the tricks they pull. and most get away with it. just by leaning into a player as if there being held back then they throw there hands up in the air and stop playing. its not the parks they play on its the terrible referees that give the decision. especialy if they know they have got a right clown.
