Marco is very talented and one of his greatest quality, either than his vocals, is the ability to feel each and every song he performs so much that every feels so real and personal, not all singers even the best ones can do that.

The truth is that Marco has been at the top of the Festival ranking since the first evening, he also won the Covers evening and in the end he also won the Orchestra Prize. The audience in the theater and the Orchestra literally went crazy for his live performance! Bravissimo! In the press conference he has just said that he will participate in Eurovision Song Contest. I don't know if he will meet the tastes of the Eurovision audience. But his talent, his emotions, his song and his meaning are wonderful.

Thanks for your video. Marco is the most beautiful male voice we have in Italy, he is known as a very sweet, sensitive and emotional guy, which makes him even more special. During the Festival he had a fever and sinusitis, despite this he sang wonderfully! ❤️
The songs presented in Sanremo are meant to be the best Italian song and not for Eurovision, where a different style often prevails (funny/trash songs), but this is real music and he could win. The song is about the inner conflict we all struggle with, that's why he feels the song very much in his heart while singing it. The text speaks of two parts of the same person, the conscious and the unconscious that talk to each other, the life of dreams that collides with that of reality (just "Due vite", "two lives").
Truly a deep and emotional meaning, a beautiful music that together with the text take the audience into a dreamlike scenario. Furthermore Marco is an excellent interpreter, this makes the difference and makes this song perfect, because he transmits all the emotions to the audience that watches and listens to him, even to a foreign audience that does not understand the Italian language and this says everything about what a great artist is Marco.

I absolutely loved L'Essentiale and I do really like this but on hearing some of the others from San Remo I think they missed some great opportunities to send something really different - Lazza / Madame / Elodie...I think it's a solid entry though and I still love him and if he wears head to toe leather Versace he'll get my vote hahaha!!!!! (Spain still my number 1 atm)

@@clarabella8 This is an Eurovision reaction channel, so the topic here is how the song might do at Eurovision, where there is a large dynamic stage, not how it did at Sanremo, where the stage is smaller and static (and rules probably prohibit several things). The term "stagging elevates a song" has already been used several times this season for many of the national finals. That was the case for Eaea.
@@stefaniasassi433 Stagging in a televote contest is meant to give something for the eyes to latch onto. Even Marco's outfit is a part of stagging. In 2013 Marco wore a regular suit and tie, while at this Sanremo Marco wore something more memorable, giving the song an extra edge.
I think he should stage it exactly like in 2013 😅 Ballads work best when they are very minimalistic staged. I hope he is NOT doing a pyro shower thing 😅

I am not sure this song meets Eurovision tastes.
It's complex and it's a ballad without a catchy chorus. The vibe is somewhat similar to that of Sweden 2022, but that was a far simpler song and it didn't win anyway.
If I were Mengoni, I would choose not to go to the ESC. The song is too beautiful to waste with a 10th/12th place.

Not meaning to diss Marco Mengoni, who's a lovely, talented man, but Madame or Elodie's songs would have been so much better for Eurovision. Even Tananai's song this year, which is a love letter to the people of Ukraine for their struggles.
