The customer calling the dealership is way out of line, definitely an overreach.
He was clearly looking for a lawsuit and he’ll probably file one
And he will get nothing lol. You need to have actual damages.
Take the gps off and take it back in ?
No it’s not, if rob is closed I’m not sitting on the road with a. Disabled car I’m calling the dealer or a tow truck and sending the bill to him it’s not my problem
@@Viggggggr well that isnt what happened dum dum
The customer absolutely had no business calling the dealership.
A dealership unwilling to do warranty work? I am SHOCKED! This is totally unheard of! They have the best master factory trained technicians! I don't believe it.
What are you gonna tell me next Rob, the suns gonna come up tomorrow?
The dealership is breaking federal law, if its still under warranty. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. You should reach out to Steve Lehto.
Why is every idiot so loud?
Well in this case they’re not denying warranty. They don’t want an additional variable that’s out of their control when diagnosing the issue
@@kaseyc5078 Many of these GPS units are connected to other systems like security systems. Fuel/ignition/security system/ECM. For example the "KARR" security system. People think they are just GPS - but they have alot more functionality and dealerships tend to install them to ensure that they can find and take back a car if they have to. The GPS could 100% be throwing codes - and if it's not, like you said they just want a 3rd party variable out before they start digging into something especially if it could be electrical.
In the comments here you just have a bunch of people who don't know what they're talking about.
@@truthseeking3818 💯
He literally said the gps he uses only requires power and ground. Someone doesn't know what he's talking about allright. Can you guess who it is? 🤔🥴
I had a Dodge dealer blame an aftermarket speaker in the door of a Viper for a roof leak years ago…..😂
Speed phenom just had an issue with the carbon fiber rims on his z06, and all the dealers around him could not mount his tires on the replacement rims GM. GM had to get involved and find a dealer and mounting technique for the tires. Dealers do not want to invest the money to service this car.
I love when dealers blame all problems on their cars if you change anything. I once had a Pontiac dealership tell me my rear differential on my 01 Trans Am WS6 broke because installed an aftermarket Flowmaster muffler. I kid you not.
lol I would say burnouts would be more likely
@@D3AThCAl2DSdoesn't matter if the car is powerful enough to do burnouts then it should come with a diff that can handle them
Jeep said my borla cat back exhaust was causing my transmission problems on my 2022 jeep gladiator Mojave. Even though the problem didn’t start until they fried the pcm when they tried to update it. Then they said I modified it somehow reprogrammed the computer for bigger tires…… the tires and rims had 14,000 miles of wear on them. My jeep had 14,000 miles. The only thing I did was the borla exhaust, which CJDR USES for their performance exhaust. Needless to say, I won my lawsuit and will NEVER go to that dealership again. I went to ford where I’ve been treated like a king.
When you tap power off a brand new C8 wire under the dash your going to cause U codes and trouble. It happens all the time now. It’s sad but true.
@@JohnDoe-nz6bk as a life long ford fan because I can deal with fords specific brand of bull sh*t (all manufacturers have it) everything depends on the dealer and what sucks is the manufacturers can’t possibly police them all ahead of problems or get rid of independent dealers because of the law there going to get fucked by stuff like this either way there’s nothing they can do
Mr spaghettis chef blames the garlic bread for the undercooked pasta
Exactly!🍝
I have a gluten allergy 😂
Mmmmmm undercooked pasta
@-- Why you called the dealership 😂
Funny😅
I do recall when these Corvettes originally hit the market they were advising against doing things like using rear view mirror wire taps for hard wiring radar detectors due to CANBUS issues. I wonder if it could be super sensitive to voltage changes?
Likely
You call it "super sensitive" to voltage changes. I call it an engineering defect.
It is not just Corvettes but many cars that have a radar monitoring system built into the rear view mirror. My dad's 2022 Tacoma safety sense modules blew out when he used the wiring of the rear view mirror to hardwire a dash cam.
@@palillo2006 i think pulling excessive power from the wrong circuit is 100% the users fault, i made sure to pull from the kick panel fuse box for that very reason. i dont like the idea of splicing into a pin that could be current limited. a fuse tap should be inherently safe as long as you don't increase the fuse size.

Yea I’d be concerned about that ex customer and his fraudulent actions. Posing as an affiliate of a business is a court case lol see if your legal rep can obtain the phone call he made to them, most dealer groups store their calls. I’d pursue action against that ex-customer all day. He fcked up royally involving himself like that 😂

@@jeoboden i bet it wasn't that serious.. people can inquire about whatever. no need to find someone to blame when anything on the car should be warrantied at this point
going through that trouble to poke in Robs business, when he had already been refunded...customer is definitely a scammer and was hoping to find a reason file suit against Rob.
@@jessesteeltown the car is just one concern here and from a business owners perspective, not the biggest concern. Fraud affects everyone, but damage to business reputation, relationships with other businesses and scams and quite a few others. The ex-customer is a liability and if he places calls on others “behalf” you are dealing with somebody that is unstable and lacks logic, that is a liability to Rob and he needs to defend his years of hard work. Frauds and scammers deserve a hard time and that loser of a customer signed himself up for a hard time.
Who calls the local dealer when renting a car?
No joke. What a freaking squirrel. SMH
A Chevy dealer gave me that same “it’s your aftermarket GPS” when I had a new 2013 Silverado company vehicle. They had the truck for 2 weeks for a no-start problem so I told them to disconnect the GPS, which they said they did, and the problem was fixed. Fast forward a week, tech comes out to hook up the GPS again and says nothing was done to it and was still 100% installed. The truck apparently just started working on its own again.
Depends how you have taped into the power supply with the GPS. Tap into CANBUS related wiring is actually a problem. Best way to avoid issues is to go direct to the battery 12V or cigarette lighter / 12V. So check how it’s been wired in.
My friend had a silverado where the dealer nullified the warranty and claimed an aftermarket cold air filter caused the issue. The issue however was a bad wire harness a known issue on the truck
and had been replaced several times before and was totally stock back then. Some dealers will look for anything they can't make money on (aftermarket) as the fault.
Good luck, Rob! Still waiting for Speeding Ticket Challenge 2 lol
I know it won't happen and I don't want you to risk your brand, but I watch that video often! You are a legend.
Don't be too sure about the GPS NOT interfering with the out-of-this-world complex Electronics on modern vehicles.... I don't think it's too far of a fetch for the GPS to actually be causing a problem.... even low voltage causes hell.
100% that guy pissed them off and your paying the price with bs. I've sat through so many dealership re-learns because i usually know what needs fixing before i go there, tell them, they crack the shits and i get the same kind of bs from them, dealerships are so grimy and good ones are very few and far between.
Rob has anyone suggested testing the battery? I would honestly try a new battery, worst case scenario you put the old one on a tender and use it when the new one takes a dump. The C5-C8 can do some really wonky stuff when the battery gets low on power, usually throwing 5+ codes that are completely random
The FIRST thing to do in any new GM vehicle is get rid of the trash GM/ACDelco battery
his transmission is destroyed because he wasnt aware that to save it he needed ro service the dct like every 2500miles for tye first several miles of ownership
Is there a problem with the GPS install? Seen so many side-effects with aftermarket items. My biggest issue has been with remote start modules, the butchery I have seen is staggering. Are you sure the GPS was installed correctly? Maybe a power wire grounding?
Welcome to GM. They tried to pull that shit with my Escalade. Then I made them write me a lemon law check
You didn't know the Escalade was a lemon before you bought it? The rest of us did.
i used to build escalades and tahoes at the plant those trucks are junk they snap together and come apart in 2 seconds and wont last 5 years. they have so many flaws i'd be writing here forever. a lot of trucks that roll off the line wouldn't even drive and if they couldnt be fixed they would just throw it away and build another they dont care. not to mention they invest about 20k per truck and resell them for 100k
I had a similar experience with my Jeep. The trans would slip at 75mph up hill. I explained to them that it would hold 5k rpm and not accelerate. They told me without a CEL they couldn’t do anything. Week later CEL comes on and I parked it at the dealer. THEN they told me they couldn’t replicate the issue. I finally offered my car to a tech that had a long drive home and he was able to replicate it
Typical old school dealer bullshit. Blame the customer and try to get out of fixing the car at all costs. This attitude is what launched the Lexus brand. "You added that air freshener? We can't service the drivetrain. Warranty denied."
I guess, it depends where the GPS is wired into. If it's a direct battery to ground system, there shouldn't be any issues. Though, this is very ineffective as it would be visible and easily removed. But if it's wired near or close to other modules, voltage drops would log codes and cause these issues. I've seen it before when people would wire in aftermarket items, using random power and grounds behind the dash. A lot of those codes are blips in what appears to be voltage issues. They mostly all passed their individual tests, which says at that time everything is ok. As the car was stationary. But when moving the could be micro arching occurring. I would just check where the power is being sourced for said GPS unit. If it's accessing power and ground at the fuse panel it should be ok. But, that depends if or where it may locate the battery voltage sensor for either the start stop system or similar. Electrical systems in modern cars can be hyper sensitive to voltage. The smallest of voltage drops can cause these cars to become stupid. Even incorrect batteries cause issues.
All of the lost communication codes suggests either a voltage problem or a wiring issue. I could see how an aftermarket GPS install could actually cause the issue, but given this is a fiberglass car a bad ground could certainly be the underlying source.
This would probably be an awesome opportunity for a CZcams collaboration with the South Main Auto channel.
following this as I am waiting for mine a few years down the road.
Man, that camaro always looks nice up there
I think you should offer that guy that called on your behalf a job. Sounds like he has too much free time on his hands 😂😅😂
OnStar simply deactivates the accelerator pedal during vehicle shutdowns, as well as not allowing the vehicle to restart as you said.
Definitely some funky electronic issues based on those codes. A module seems to be shutting down intermittently and either throwing the whole car into limp mode, or total disabling to keep from harming itself. Could very well be a CAN bus issue, and one bad module in the system can take out everything else on that network. Hopefully the next dealer will be able to go the car, begin diagnostic and track down what’s really the root cause…I’m willing to bet it’s not a mechanical failure. Unfortunate part of that is it’s such a new car with a relatively low reported failures so far, so it probably take quite a bit of time to replicate and find the issue…then squire parts to repair said issue.
Pull the GPS. Get it 'serviced'. Offload the car, get a new one. Rinse, repeat as needed.
😂
How many appointments do you want to schedule
@@lop8828 Sorry not a Chevrolet fan. I will give you a ride in my Aston Martin Rapide if you like.
Hate it when dealers try to pull that. Had Jeep do something similar, claiming they couldn't diagnose an engine that was burning 5L of oil per tank of gas because i had aftermarket off road lights hooked into it. I had ring terminals for power hooked to the battery and a dedicated toggle switch. But that somehow prevented them from running diagnostics
Certainly seems like a CANBUS issue has been created, could be as simple as a defective sensor or two dragging down both networks. Where exactly did you wire in the power for the GPS units? It could also be a dealer that doesn't want to work on your car, the GPS is a simple excuse to push it out the door.
I had similar dealership issues with my old Nissan GT-R, the dealer had to be GT-R certified to service. But the other issue with the GPS sounds like garbage. Since the GPS hardwired into the system, even only for power, even if it's not the issue it will always be blamed. This is also why I only do factory stereos now, so if somethings wrong they can't blame an aftermarket (and probably better) stereo.
What the heck is going on with the dealership that asks a name and then immediately yes "yessir, here's what we got" without any verification?!
Question rob. I always wanted to rent a lambo or some supercar. I think you said once you have a spot in chicago now which is probably the closest to me. So im curious on rates and stuff for the average joe and options, it doesnt have to be super crazy im not a millionaire. But this year marks 10years since i had some crazy surgeries in my early 20s and i want to go all out a bit for myself and hopefully rent a supercar for a day or two and im also paranoid that something would happen or some renter would bullsht with me about something trivial and screw me over. Ive followed you a long time and you seem very cool and fair and dont bs. But yeah let me know some prices and also if theres a place like chicago area, im like 1.5hrs out. I know you check comments here and there and it would be for later in the year. Just want to speak with ya or chat if possible. thanks
Today Mr. Spaghetti explains why he's not happy with his spicy meatball.
To be fair that Aston is rocking a Mercedes motor and that's why it's been reliable! Lol.
I had C7 Z06 manual.
Had manufacturer recall for addressing some front suspension issue.
Got the car back with the steering wheel off center!!
When it was time to replace the tires, my local dealership said they do not have the proper equipment to mount the tires.
I brought it to my tire guy and when he popped the hood, all the duct work had been disassembled and was about to fall apart.
At that point, I got rid of the car.
Bottom line is that Chevy is just not set up to service this car.
Sweet R129 lurking in the background.
They used the same "aftermarket part" excuse, back in the 80's. Also, back in the day, the Dealers on Staten Island would Mark you as a "VO" (visiting operator) when making a service appt, if you didn't buy the car from them.
Good video Hey sounds like we just did a similar trip just came back from a cruise of Spain Cans France Tuscany Rome Pisa Amalfi coast Italy Positano Italy The water The cliffs The people The Exotic Cars Beautiful! Italian Decent Loved Italy!
it sounds like that aftermarket gps has shit power filtering and is putting a lot of noise on the electronic circuits. You would be amazed what cheap shitty lamps can do to home electronics. Interference even with just power is a thing and that can cause interference on the car's CAN bus. That gps unit might be faulty so you can try replacing it but can't fault the car or dealer because they are indeed correct that if you put bad electronics on your car, it's not the car's fault it misbehaves as it's a non approved part the car wasn't designed for. That being said this might be an easy fix by using a 12v to 12v power isolator to keep the noise off the car's circuits.
They would have to prove that the gps is what's causing it which I assure you they cannot. This is protected under the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act
GM is notorious for that , in my 2017 Camaro SS I changed out my tail lights to the “GM” factory blacked out tail lights. I did it myself and because of that they tried telling me they can’t warranty the digital dash / radio .. saying I might of connected something wrong or shorted something.. called up GM headquarters and even sent a email to regional VP , fixed the next week and rental for 2 weeks
DITCH IT !!! I would put it on bring a trailer under the name " Rob son Ho Fun" at no reserve, and hope for the best. You've always got the miata plow to fall back on......
Dealerships look for any little excuse to void the warranty it’s ridiculous… and that customer calling the dealership on your behalf is way out of line, and Rob is one of the most if not the most honest and reasonable person do deal with I ever came across
Thats the exact route Im taking in Italy this summer. Except Im starting with lake Como and exiting Italy through Venice and Stelvio.
Sooo it’s not the exact route?
In Mexico your warranty gets invalidated if you put any type of aftermarket gps in the vehicle. Even the obd2 plug in gps, if the dealer sees it , they invalidate your vehicle warranty.
When GM came out with that mid engine Corvette. It became my dream car. Surpassing the Lambo. But I'll be danged if I am seeing far far too many issues with them.
The hair is coming back nicely Rob
In today’s episode mr spaghetti realized his z06 is a lemon without realizing it
There was a story about several Chevy dealers Declining a Tyre replacement on a factory C8/Z06 CF rim. A Ferrari dealer tried and failed too.
GPS messed with the transmission on 3 different brand new kenworth trucks with autos where I work. The dealer and manufacturer figured out how to wire it differently and fixed all the issues.
Nice one form the customer, really classy! BTW i hate when dealer don't want to look at obviously faulty stuff (or if it's really the GPs, there is still a problem with the car that can not handle the GPS...), can they just say the truth, we don't want to deal with this kind of stuff, go somewhere else... that will be more honest, and maybe they can keep the customer.
The lost of communications on the CAN bus is the most concerning set of codes and makes me wonder if you have a defective installation at the factory from a loose connector or a short somewhere in the system wiring. At first glance that appears to be the problem with the transmission & brakes.
Disconnect the aftermarket GPS, see if problem goes away?
it went away with it hooked up. can't diag. if it isn't acting up
Silly Theory: Perhaps the GPS unit is drawing power when the car is off to get it just below a voltage threshold where it causes these modules to throw error codes?
Almost impossible
I'd be interested in where you got the power for the GPS. The reason I ask is the car seems to have CAN bus issues.
On todays episode, Mr. Spaghetti explains that even if his pasta may look overcooked, you shouldn't check the oven on his behalf.
hahaha I dug through the comments for this
On newer vehicles, the ecu’s all communicate on a data link or canbus system. The ecu’s talk on those high and low side wires with “waves” of data. The entire connected circuit including the ecu’s has a resistance to those wires that “terminates” the waves so you don’t get what’s called static waves which is basically just waves of data stuck in the loop. If you have static waves or a problem with resistance, you will get failed communication from ecu to ecu(brakes, engine, transmission, airbag etc). It sounds to me like you have an issue with intermittent connection at an ecu. And with multiple codes for the brake module I would probably start there. I’m no expert on chevys or the z06 though. But with it being so new and intermittent, if I were you I would check to make sure all the main ecu plugs are seated and free of water. It could and usually is something that small and stupid when it comes to intermittent data loss, especially on newer vehicles. A lot of techs don’t know data link systems or troubleshooting as much as they lead on. I know it shouldn’t come to that especially with a new car but it is non-invasive to make sure things are plugged in fully. Either way I wish you the best of luck rob.
Dealing with stupid is painful. I’m amazed how many companies try to bamboozle customers with BS.
I'd have a problem with the customer calling the dealership & for the dealership talking to the customer, I can't believe the GPS is causing a fault with the gearbox too, Rj in Oz
Firing your customer, I like that
You tried to just read the battery voltage it off maybe also on? When a car has a lot of random codes it can just be the battery. Maybe disconnect the battery terminals in the car but still leave the battery in and run a chgarger on the battery overnight. Connect the battery the next day and see what happens.
I think you'd be much happier with an LC500. This coming from a former Corvette fan boy who finally got fed up with American vehicle manufacturer electronics. And no, having a circuit board replaced is no guarantee that it was redesigned and will henceforth be reliable.
Man , have you all seen Speed Phenom channel and he could not find a Chevy dealer to mount his Z06 Carbon fiber wheels anywhere for weeks and went to Ferrari and they could not mount his run flats on CF wheels. Chevrolet first destroyed his CF wheels because they were not trained how to safely mount them , they gave him a replacement CF wheels but no dealer would mount them . lol
If the GPS is wired into the car depending on how it's done it very well could effect the can bus system which could effect the modules
The problem with GM dealer service departments… they don’t diagnose and trouble shoot. It’s all throwing parts at it until the problem stop which is a convenient method of repair when you sell the parts at 4x the costs.
If it’s anything like any other GM products, it’s using a can-bus, so the car is either getting voltage outside of spec or a ground point is broken. I’ve seen this exact list of codes on a Tahoe, no com with trans ecu, abs, transfer-case ect. Boiled down to cleaning and securing ground points on the harness and cleaning the contacts point on the engine bay fuse box.
And GM thinks they’re going to corner the market in EVs too 😂
In my experience. late model vehicles set multiple codes. if one code sets. they need to be cleared to see what comes back.
My DCT has been problematic from day 1.
Never stopped the car though. No creep message, check engine light etc.....
I got a software update, didn't fix it. I'm up to round 2, flush i think.
The dealer told me they tackle this problem in 4 tiers.
Assuming 4 is replacement.
Pull out the GPS. Put an AirTags in there until it gets sorted out.
OMG you plugged in your rechargable flashlight into the power port? YOU FRIED THE TRANSMISSION!!!!
One more example of why you NEVER buy the first production year of a new model.
I would advice to just put in a smaller secundary battery for the gps only or simply use a battery powered gps.
You'll know soon enough of it's really related or not.
talk to Luis Rossman, he's a big Right2Repair advocate mainly working with phones but has been dealing with John Deeres terriible anti Right2Repair stuff. im certain this has to beillegal unless they can prove that direct issue is causing the problem, which they can a 12v power rail with no canbus access, this is pretty clearcut. they cannot deny you warranty service.
Its a CANBUS communication problem. Something is pulling down the network. Flushing the transmission won’t fix anything.
Either a wire is broken or a module is corrupting the network.
welcome to the corvette bull from the dealership. Went through numerous trips to them for my 2019 grand sport and after three dealerships they said its fine which of course it was not.. Finally dumped it for an Audi RS5.
lots of can bus problems, one of the modules is ft up
The front end on the Z06 looks so good
The overall design of the z06 looks very good, it have a completely different rear design than the boxy rear end stingray. The z06 rear is much more rounded
When I watched a recent review and they described the drive by wire brake system I thought to myself “what could go wrong”?
No wonder I see more Aston Martin Vantage on the road and at parking lots than the C8 Z06.
Sounds like the ABS Control module causing the problem, maybe. as long as the gps isn't tied to any other modules Power supply it isn't the problem
You should drive it over the weekend just to see if you can replicate the issue since you know how to reset it.
The Allison transmission GM uses with the Duramax is the same issue. GM Techs have to goto training at school and certification obtained just to work on an Allison or perform warranty work. And not every dealer has that tech, techs are in high demand. I know because it’s my career.
PS GMs modules get all messed up having a GPS plugged into the data port, none of the GMs like it. There is a TSB for it, even if it’s hard wired you had to tap power from a wire and that’s where the issue starts.
Probably a good idea to buy from a really good dealer known for telling corporate to cover warranty issues instead of whoever will give the best price or just happens to have that special model/color in stock. Theres a few in my metro area that will argue with corporate for days to get something that should clearly be covered.
few and far between country wide my friend. dealerships and the lack of right to repair sucks
Cornelius Would Be Proud.🙌🏼
Rob where did you tap the power from, is it the same fuse junction as the other cars ? those codes are CAN connections bugging, lost communication is very serious electrical issue on the new cars.
Hopefully something good comes from this situation. Its quite sad and ridiculous that the C8 Z06 is SUCH a bad car
I work at a Chevy store and I know GM has been advising us to tell customers there is a mandatory transmission service that needs to be done at around the 7500 mile mark. Yours might need it done sooner depending on how customers drive it maybe?
very stressful, good luck...
Yeah I've installed GPS systems for years and the only way that could be your problem is if you had a bare wire grounding on something which I seriously doubt, I'm sure you don't let Jim Bob do your installation in his front yard.
yess!
Dealerships in general needs to be eliminated all together. I have dealt with many and they are crooks and frauds. I hope the day comes that we have direct sales.
you think OEMs won’t try to get out of doing warranty work? Wishful thinking bud
That mentality is why people created the monster known as Carvana. There are plenty of competent dealerships across the board in the Auto Industry. Remember everyone can be in a mood or have a bad day. Consider the entire process when your dealing with a problem at your place of work. Then take yourself out of your position and put yourself in the customers. When it comes to anything aftermarket on vehicles, if it is not dealer installed expect pushback. If you were the mechanic and owner of a shop would you prefer to use the parts brought in by a customer or parts from your distributor? The best mechanics work on all types of vehicles and have seen it all. The ebay OEM parts vs what they only work with. They tell you to avoid Gremlins at all costs and please don't create them and then bring it to their shop to bring them to the light. Remove the direct power gps and use one of the trackers that do not need to get wired in on this vehicle and go from there. I expected these New Corvettes to have issues and they seem to have them in certain cases. If dealerships disappear you will wish for them to come back when they are gone. You expect an app and dealing with corporate directly is going to be a smooth process? Your delusional. When speaking with the dealer, avoid an attitude and be respectful. If your a prick from the jump, expect to be treated as such. If you know anyone that bought a used car from Carvana, ask them how smooth that was and see if they got their trade paid off and title work done. That company is a disaster.
Cant just cut the power cable and put a patch to hook it back up afterwards ?
Can Bus system issues? Is the GPS connected to the Can Bus?
It's actually not *inconceivable* your tracking system is causing that particular mess of codes, depending on what exactly it is and how exactly it interfaces with the car. Those codes basically say "something absolutely shit all over both CAN buses and every computer in the car flipped out". If the GPS also happens to listen to CAN to do telemetry, it could very well be the problem. If it doesn't, depending on where and how it's wired to the electrical system, it might be causing a voltage sag to any one CAN computer, inducing it to shit all over the bus. I assume you haven't just tapped it straight to the battery because that would be entirely too easy to find and cut out, so it depends on what it *is* tapped into.
That dealer would probably lose my business in the future, I assume you were a very good client for them.
I had a dodge dealer that refused to program a BCM because they didn't install it , even tho the bcm came from their parts department
I had this problem with a vehicle of mine. Every now and again it would like ..stutter, when idling. But no codes or anything. I had an aftermarket remote start installed, and about a month later the stuttering got worse, and eventually there was a code. I took it to the dealership to have it looked at and they told me it was the aftermarket remote start causing it. I said "ok, well..why did it do it before I had the remote start installed as well??" "We don't know, but it's definitely the remote start causing the issue. If we remove it, the issue will be resolved, or you can have it removed by whoever put it in". So, I went and had it removed. Guess what? Issue was still there..and even got worse. So, I took it back to the dealership "oh, it looks like your transmission is almost shot. Weird. We'll go ahead and fix that."
Yeah, remote start had absolutely nothing to do with it. Assholes.
I've owned several Corvettes (and still do), but with GM's quality control in the past few years I'm out on anything new. My last late model Suburban that had the AFM failure and bent pushrods was the last straw. There's no way I can trust anything moe complex to hold up to hard use. No way. For that money I'd rather have less HP and more fun in a new 911T with a M/T.
They are all can bus codes. Unless your Gps connects though Canbus its not an issue.
In today's video, someone calls the the dealership that Mr. Spaghetti uses because they were upset that their meatballs were taken away from them.
