How To Install Endwall and Skylights

Install endwall metal on the bottom of the skylight. Mark both sides on the endwall metal and cut it approximately 2 inches longer. Bend around the corners.
Install the shingles past the bottom of the penetration. Cut the shingles so they slide into the endwall. Install screws to secure.
Install side pieces of endwall.
Mark the top and bottom of the endwall. The bottom will overhang the corner 4” and the top should overhang at least 16”.
Flatten out the top and install sealant. Bend over the bottom sides to create a triangular piece. Nail every 6 inches.
Install remaining shingles until both sides are past the top.
Create a back metal pan that will lock into both sides of the endwall metal and also bends up the back of the skylight.
Install the back pan by sliding down the back. Install a starter strip for shingles to line up with the other side.
