Come to New Zealand where manners dont exist except for the Islanders who always show manners towards a woman and their kids do too, not the Kiwi men though - they will push in front of you walking through a door! Not used to it - South African men do have manners.

Glad you put those bedside tables in your guest room- looks really good! Love peaches....maybe remove 2 palms in that gravel area & put peach trees there? My thoughts are : keep the color of your new dresser as is, to keep an eclectic /procured vibe in your room (so it doesn't look to matchy or like you bought everything recently from HomeGoods/furniture store) Then use Restore-a-finish on that cute dresser with the vintage hanging drawer pulls. Whatever you do will turn out nice, I'm sure. FYI: Pink is a good color on you. 🙂 Looking forward to seeing your next video.
They'll do anything in these houses. We redid a bathroom and our old house and they installed the bathroom vanity over a patch of shag carpet to "balance" it!
I love the new dresser just as it is. Perfect size for the room. When you two start a new project I always wondered what hiccup you will find. I can't get over tar for real. Oh well between you and Kyle you will get rid of that hiccup. You both are so cute together and really bounce ideas off each other. Fine a good spot for the peach tree this Georgia peach hope it's a good tree for the area. You two enjoy the rest of your week Till next time 😅

We call our hibiscus plants, "hot biscuits" because our dog loves to eat the blooms. LOL We haven't to move them all to the front. They are in pots. I'm glad ya'll are back to vlog'ing! I've watched your "dresser saga" videos on This Crazy Life. We don't call these dressers. We call these "chest of drawers". Dressers are rectangle and these are stacked drawers, chest of drawers. :) I loved all of them and I can't wait to see what you do with this new one. It looks antique.

Funny you mention peach trees. My son has one at his house (we are in central Florida) and the squirrels eat all the peaches before they ripen for us. Also remember they are going to get much bigger than you originally buy. I'm planning on planting a lemon and lime tree soon. I'm tired of spending almost a dollar per lemon at the grocery store. Great video as always. 😃

I love that new dresser. I think you should re-tique both the dresser and the nightstands. Maybe keep them a little lighter than the dresser in your bedroom, so they are closer to the color of the headboard in the guest room. It all looks great, and I love how it is coming together.

I love the new dresser. We planted a peach tree last May and it drops all leaves in the Winter. This Spring it developed buds which turned into bright pink blossoms. The leaves came in afterward. It is such a pretty tree. It probably won’t bear fruit for a couple years but such a pretty tree. Good luck with yours.
I loved the last dresser. But I really like this new one & keep it as is please maybe a clear gloss or matte on it. I just loved the antique wood already! You two are so cute together. You're like my great grandchildren. Thanks for sharing! ♥️☺️🫂🦉🐾🐾🦋🌹✨️
Amanda, hello, well, another dresser. Wow. This one does fit better. It good you were able to cell the other two. Im looking forward to seeing how you refinish it. I think your old side tables look good in your spare room. That black tar sure looked like a big pain to deal with. I would be afraid to let the kids and dog play in the yard with scorpions in the yard. Have you ever found them in the pool? Of course my friend in California had black widow spiders in her yard, and her girls ran around barefoot all the time. We have gaden snakes. I guess everyplace has something. Take care ❤😊 Blessings

Hand cleaner removes tar! Like the one mechanics use! When my bf was 15 was burned while roofing with tar and the hospital removed the tar with hand cleaner of all things!

Plant any fruit trees away from the family area. It will attract bees and flies when the fruit ripens. Despite that, I love fruit trees. Our orange tree supplies several families with perfect fruit!

I would sand and use orange stain stripper on it before you do anything. I just did my mom's hope chest that I am so glad I did sand and stripped it first. Then stained it along with white wash and it turned out beautifully.
That dresser is a really sweet vintage piece, love it. Just FYI it's definitely veneer on the front and maybe the top, it was hard to see. If you want videos about redoing pieces with veneer, I'd look up K.Scott or Transcend Furniture Gallery here on CZcams. But honestly you could probably just get away with like applying a matching gel stain to it to take care of the scratches and darken the missing chunk of veneer at the bottom on the side. Or a restore a finish product.

I agree roofing tar … yeah just grab it out of the truck … solvent ? I have seen this before on other homes and I think some just put the big mirror up properly this time … glenda. I lost my hibiscus this winter in Mesa … frost !

Haha yeah, whoever built this home made it function well, but some of the choices were questionable 🤨 and the previous owners added their own “unique ideas” to the house as well 😅

Hi Kyle and Amanda I love your little dresser my parents and grandparents had this style of furniture in their homes,I’m just wondering Amanda if you ever got your sun lounger cushions fixed I know they had ripped in parts,your back garden is beautiful 😊
If you do get avocado trees, please be aware that they are prone to ticks and raccoons like to mess with the avocados 😅 this was from having them in FL.
Use dawn dish detergent on those spots.

I would leave the dresser as is. It’s so pretty, even with little nicks. You should try to paint the night stands and headboard to match the dresser somehow. Loved the video!

Fruit trees always sound great until the fruit falls off the trees and rot on the ground and Emma might get into them. It will attract more bugs and birds (I'm with you Kyle) and pests. Honestly, they aren't worth it. Buy from a local farmer instead. Most sell at a fair price and their fruit is delicious.
Beautiful antique dresser💖.So charming 💖 Clean it up but, please leave it the natural wood, just stain it in a natural wood color, don’t paint it. That’s my thoughts. Always enjoy your videos on both your channels.

Look up and see if the tree will do well in a big pot. That way it can be moved around if need be. I have all my fruit trees in pots (orange, lemon, avocado, etc) and they are doing great. Sometimes it depends on the variety ❤
