I was thinking this exact thing, except also with lidar and mapping out traffic around you in real time, coloring red cars ones to look out for, and green ones, drivers that are behaving and aren't any danger.
Imagine a future where VR tech gets down to a sun glass size. You could be on set and hand out a bunch of glasses to directors producers and others so they could have a view of the camera in AR so then you wouldn't have to lug around heavy monitors and metal stands everywhere. So cool
This is really nice, and there will be more use cases, but.. it still has no functional USB connection. So many use cases are out of the question. Apple, give us USB, if you want us to use this for "pro" use cases!
sorry but I was folding laundry earlier while watching youtube on my vision pro and honestly I feel like thats a more compelling use case but thats just me.
technecally yea if u sideload an app called "USB Camera" (or smth, people usually use it for capture cards and their android phones) and plug in a camera either a UVC USB one or a DSLR through a capture card.
360° Camera mounted above you while filming down on yourself for a 3rd person view of yourself would be an interesting experience
Haha wow

That's an outerbody experience from bein inside the body of the ourterbody seeing the actual body from the actual body.

have you checked "XReal"?
Half of them wouldn’t even need to be on site. Imagine being a filmmaker who gets to work from home while filming the next blockbuster.
true true the producers and even though not the best choice in my opinion but Directors could be remote @@babybirdhome
Well, this is better than the people operating power tools and heavy machinery while wearing them. I'll take this any day. 😊
This is so Arizona.
smart idea!!! i now have a reason to bring this thing to work

everyone knows that Pros do not use USB!!!!! Unless you buy an extra dongle of course.
