Don05 hello
Oh my!!!
We both know that's not true
I just realized how much sad irony there is in Lelouch and Suzaku's relationship, beyond the fact that Lelouch betrays Suzaku (not on purpose exactly) by killing Euphie and cursing him with geass.
Suzaku betrays him right back by selling him out to the emperor, uses his sister against him, and tries to take away all that matters from Lelouch. They both are responsible for the destruction of the Tokyo settlement. And they pretty much hate each other's guts. But they're the only friends they've got. Though I guess it's not entirely hatred and bitterness in this friendship.
I think there is some forgiveness granted on both sides towards the end of the series.
I suppose
In the end both of them got what they desired, lelouch wanted a happy place for his sister as well the destruction of the royal family and suzaku wanted to get back japan as it was before the invasion and save the people.
And the both had to concede as well. Lelouch always preached that the end justifies the means, something Suzaku always disagreed with. And Suzaku always thought the best way to pursue change was through the system itself, instead of outside of it like the Black Knights and Zero were doing. In the end Lelouch had to resort to the system and become emperor like Suzaku would've prefered, but his means were still terrible and you could even say evil (killing a shitload of people, using the geass to enslave his soldiers and the royalty). But at that point I think both of them realized that was the only way. The last battle between Kallen and Suzaku kinda represents all of the contradictions and common points between the ideologies of every character including Lelouch and Suzaku, there is this amazing discourse where every major character has his input and they argue with each other sometimes finishing the phrase of one another sometimes arguing against the person they just agreed with, its freaking amazing and, considering it takes place during the last episode, a fantastic way to close the philosophical discourse of Code Geass.
Well Suzaku joined Lelouch after the C's world incident
I love how everyone that spoke at 0:35 has some connection to this fight
Kallen: thats the.. Lancelot (she fought the Lancelot on multiple occasions)
Rakshata: With energy wings?? (She knew the energy wings were much more efficient for flight)
Xingke: And its challenging Bismarck! (He also fought Bismarck and barely escaped with his life.)
Nice attention to detail with people doing in-universe commentary, something usually not thought much about.
Think that's great, I forget if its the first or second episode of Gundam 00 Season 1. People are all completing the same topic/ conversation across the stars or different points on Earth. Even though most of them are enemies or unaware of the other person's existence.
I wanted to see Xingke fight Bismarck one more time

Johnny Yong Bosch and Yuri Lowenthal made this series epic
They're like the PBJ of dubbed anime.
I don't like Johnny yong because he does the same voice for so many characters
tan white That can pretty much be said of any voice actor. It's hard to not have your true voice come out while you're trying to change it
Yuri is quite possibly the greatest word in anime history. In more ways than one.
Huehehehehe
i wish to see the fight between Marianne and Bismark... That would of been epic
They most likely fought with the early generation knightmare frame so it wouldn't be that exciting
+Bashar the Dankest Meme Collector lol
+Olga Ramos I actually think it was just a direct swordfight. Why the hell would you need to see the future while fighting in a slow as fuck robot?
Govind M. But then again, even if it was modified, the Ganymede used for the giant pizza is a third generation knightmare, like the one Marianne would use
Late reply@@cheese1010 , but iirc, the Ganymede used for the giant pizza IS the knightmare Marianne piloted. The Ashfords, her primary sponsors and the designers of the first knightmares kept it after her 'death'.
Everyone harps on about how great Lady Marianne is
I'd like some god damn proof
Bismarck’s Geass power is to see the future. However, it is from his point of view, he can only see the future from what he is viewing with his eyes. In other words, he can see the future of others, but not his own future meaning he did not foresaw his own demise before it was too late.
He can see his own future but only if he's alive to see it
Well that just sounds like King Crimson with extra steps
@@johnmarston8753 Wha-?
@@15241 in the anime jojo's bizarre adventures there is a fighting spirit (stand) called king Crimson and he has the power to erase time, in those 5 seconds of erased time he can predict his opponent moves so that he can take counter measure and defeat his enemies faster and safer

Wouldn't it be funny if Lelouch told Suzaku to "Live!" and instead of acting out of survival, he instead chose to "live" his life? He'd lay back in his mech and chill out to the sounds of soft rock as he gets sliced in half by Bismark's blade.
Nice ass :T
Someone needs to make a fanart / fancomic / fan animation for that. It would be glorious!
Suzaku: Hey, Lelouch, you remember that Geass you gave me?

The Knight of 1 has became the Knight of 1/2, yet he still couldn’t outrank 0
Suzaku was generious to not divide Bismark by zero.
1 thing i can never get over is how much respected Lelouch's mother is! Everyone except v.v i respects her. Shame that she was with Charles!
“He’s not gonna be in Rush Hour 3”
-Suzaku probably
Moral of the story, just because you can see the future doesn’t mean you can do Jack shit about it
Plot hole:
The emperor says that Suzaku is the only one among the knights of the round with knowledge of Geass, yet here is the knight of one with Geass himself. When do the lies end Charles?
Julie Wang Charles specifically says that he is the only one among the knights of the round with knowledge of geass. Unless there is some grammatical interpretation that is thrown out there, I think it's still a plot hole.
+DiCaproductions I don't think that's a plot hole. In my mind, Charles told Suzaku a blatent lie when he said that to Suzaku. Think about it, do people really think the Knight of One, the Emperor's right hand man, wouldn't know about Geass?
masteryoda222007 I could buy that. I just think if that was the case, there would have been more evidence to support that it was a lie, or some call back to that moment.
DiCaproductions
True, but I kinda think that the fact Bismark even has a Geass power, means he knows about it, and likely Charles knows that Bismark knows. After all, the only 2 who could give Geass powers were C2 and V2, and C2 left after she found out about Marianne. That leaves V2, who seemed to be honest to Charles about everything except Lelouch and Marianne. Also, I think Bismark kinda explains it during his first battle with Suzaku outside of their Knightmares.
masteryoda222007 yeah, and Charles could have just said that to Suzaku so that he didn't try to dig deeper into Geass by investigating his own comrades. If the emperor told him about Bismark, then Suzaku probably would have played detective to find out more about it.
Play this at double speed for the William Shatner acting skill.
WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH!?
Hahahahaha, nice one
That was fantastic
Its like a hybrid of that and Speed Racer
+Nicolaus Rouse How can I activate this double speed you speak of??
I love Rakshata so much. She is such an underappreciated character.
I get it I do but I hate how much they up talked Bismarck. even giving him a literal god power..saying how skilled he was..just to be rekt like this.
Well they gave him a bit which he battered Xing Que who was meant to be on the same level as Todoh, Kallen and Suzaku. So I guess this is just meant to show how much Suzaku improved or how good the Albion is
"I CAN SEE THE FUTUREEEE" - Bismarck
Apparently not his future death though
"I'M CUT IN HALF!"
The writers really missed the chance at TOTAL IRONY by not making Suzaku the Knight of Eleven, but the 7/11 thing is pretty freakin' hilarious.
Knight of Zero does also make sence.
Being the Knight of Eleven in this Britain would be a big trolling ever.
Why isnt sasuke using sharingan???
Hahahaha
Erza Scarlet wrong anime bitch
volclaire2, It's a joke about his voice actor dude.
He gave it to Lelouch.
Better question is why Ben isn't using the omnitrix. Or why Simon isn't using his Spiral Power.
Bismarck was pretty dumb sealing off his geass power. If he had used it more often, it would have grown stronger, maybe even advancing into both eyes. That might have given him the edge.
+Marshall D Teach Maybe he didn't want to use his Geass on those he didn't deem to be worthy. Kind of like Gilgamesh in Fate if you've seen that.
+The Fear Channel If it had advanced to both eyes though then he would have been constantly seeing a few seconds in the future. I can only imagine that trying to focus constantly on both the future and the present would greatly confuse the mind probably to point where the user wouldn't be able to distinguish which is which. It would probably make him go insane
+Marshall D Teach He musted hide the secrets of geass maybe or something similar
+Strangething It'd basically be like Mao. Constantly living in the future instead of the present would actually be detrimental to his sanity in the long run.
+Strangething Just to clarify, losing control of one's geass and having geass in two eyes are completely separate events. Mao did not have a strong enough will of his own to control his geass because he relied solely on C.C. for emotional and mental support, even though his geass was powerful enough to spread to both eyes. Using C.C. as a crutch also caused Mao to lack self-knowledge, which is a critical component to advanced geass control. Remember, Lelouch regained his control after the collective unconscious debacle after saying, "Now I know who I really am". Then he requested of the collective unconscious to continue the unending march of time. Lelouch knew he was the future of this world. Mao knew nothing of himself, and was consumed.
While this is just opinion, I think throughout the second season Bismarck displayed the willpower, mental acuity, understanding of human nature, and self-knowledge to handle an upgraded geass.
"an empty title with no honor!"
I don't know how it's considered empty when Lelouch, at the time, was official Emperor of Britannia
Well, he kind of usurped the throne by kiIIing the last emperor, that's not a "official" way of becoming the emperor of Britannia. But i get your point. Still, imo is worse to get a title by that maniac petty dictator that was Charles.
2:01 Lancelot looking like the Strike Freedom with its angel-like wings.

Honestly, that shot looks like something out of Super Sentai or Power Rangers, how the Lancelot Albion just floats in front of the explosion of the Galahad with its back turned to the ball of flame.
Kinda like how the RV Robo/Turbo Megazord has its back to the monsters it beats after using the Extreme Racing Cutter/Turbo Megazord Spinout on them.
The knight of one is fallen
2:04 the horror on todoh and xing kes face says it all
Knight of Zero:
[Meaning]
Knight of nothing
Defender of Zero
Lowest yet highest rank
"An empty title with no honor"
Says the guy who used Geass to be Knight of 1, essentially cheating
If we can believe lord Waldstein's words (and we actually can, since he was proven loyal to the 98th Emperor of the Realm and his second-in-charge commander, Schneizel El Britannia, 2nd Prince and actually claimed heir to the throne), this man used his Geass ability only twice in his life. At least, intentionally.
I wonder what Bismarck's Geass would have developed into had he used it more.
Best anime since anime! I'm rewatching it for the 5 times since I'd discovered it!
I’ve always wondered can they hear each other
How do you defeat an opponent who can see the future?
Simple. Before they process what the future holds.
Pfft, he still can’t find a clothes in soup though....
Knight of one, more like EYE of one! :D
I know it's not really important but I cannot think of any circumstance in which Bismarck and Marianne would ever face each other in combat. I think Bismarck's remark was mostly meant to show how skilled of a fighter Marianne was, but it still bothers me a little.
Marianne was once part of the military, perhaps it was during a military exercise of sorts? Or an old rivalry that turned Bismarck's loyalty to Lady Marianne?
Jeanne Reyes I guess but I can't see Bismark breaking out his geass on a simple military exercise unless the goal of the exercise was to test his geass.
Actually, that sort of makes sense to me. I'll go with that!
Big Boss actually just like Suzaku lady Mariana climb up the military and eventually became a knight of the round during a practice fight with Bismarck Her Moves were so fast that it under the title The Flash she's the only person to ever defeat Bismarck in combat even using his geass
Big Boss
In the manga of Code Geass: Nightmare of Nunally they did explained some of Lady Marianne and her background, although the universe is different.
Knights duel each other all the time for honor and reputation. Brittanian pride is a powerful thing in Code Geass. If Bismarck defeats all of his enemies by his own skill and then Marianne challenged him to a duel and tested him to the limits, I can imagine him using it just to be able to keep up
"I CAN SEE THE FUTURE" "YOU WILL BECOME ZERO" "YOU WILL KILL YOUR BEST FRIEND" "THIS SERIES WILL GET A SPIN OFF AND PEOPLE JUST WON'T LET THIS SERIES DIE.....LIKE ME"
"I am the knight of One!"
Me) Binch, you 'bout to be the knight of two!
It’s weird that they don’t show Suzaku switching audio channels between scenes. Because he might have said the name “Zero Requiem” at Bismark by accident.
You Know what, dead men tell no tales...
Bismark won't know what it means, he's not in the loop it's just two words that could mean some sort of plan but he would have no idea. Plus he died immediately afterwards anyway.
God this shows dialogue is just extraordinaire.
If Bismarck were to realistically get those rings off of his eyelids...Or bother to put them on at all. ._.'
Immersible why would he do that?
Nigga. ._.
He got to open his eyes somehow. I was just curious as to what it would look like if he did it realistically in the middle of combat.
Also, this was a comment I left 2 years ago. Way to bring me back here, dear god.
I'm over this shit.
Immersible sorry?
Immersible hello

Knight of 0.5.
One complaint I have about this series ( I love it btw) is you never know if they are talking to each other or themselves lol
(Oh and that whole SAZ incident )
Suzaku is so damn amazing both his character and voice❤️🔥
So, based on Bismarck's statements, Lady Marianne is the Captain Unohana of Code Geass.
And the Minato Namikaze too
So the way to beat someone who can see the future is to attack them head on?
yes because they rely on their power than tracking their velocity
Really the way is to attack them faster than they can react this has been seen many times throughout many fictional series
Umm yeah. Suzaku’s Geass order also nuked Japan. For your recollection.
Knight of the One : King Crimson
Bismarck is pretty sweet. wish he was in the show more. but his power reveal is sweet non the less.
I wish all the Knights of the Round had more time. Monica, Dorothea, Nonnette...
True but then again the Lancelot wasn't simply a custom mecha, it was Lloyd's baby that he sort of got to do whatever he wanted with and the Guren was literally a competition between Lloyd and Rakshata since Rakshata built it first with her radiant wave surger, got to do whatever she wanted to with it, Lloyd got ahold and made his modifications then Rakshata got it back and made hers. I'm just surprised anyone could pilot it even Kallen but for the sake of plot...you know
"Join your masters in oblivion, loyal dog of Brittania."
Yes, your MAJESTY
Eliminating the Knight the One was an impressive feat performed by the Knight of Zero.
Seriously though what is it with Marianne (Lelouch's mother) and the higher ups, they all keep bringing her up 😂
Marianne was the first Knightmare pilot, and one of the best, according to everyone.
And despite being a commoner, she rose the ranks gaining the title Knight of Honor and then got promoted to Knight of 6 of the Knights of the Round, being well known as Marianne the Flash meaning she must have talents in Speed Based Combat.
All that, along with her and Charles growing closure through the Ragnarok Connection, led to her not being a mere concubine for the Emperor, but his legit wife as Marianne was also dubbed the Empress of Britannia.
Note: Should I mention all that gave Marianne some disdain from Charles' concubines/consorts/baby mama's they had to have been noble women, but she a commoner was chosen to be the man's Empress.
Yeah it was a cool fight, probably the best fight in the series, but note that it was one of the only moments in R2 where both mechas were closely matched, even though Kallen says the SEITEN is still more advanced than the Albion.
Seiten is more advanced than albion but if u rewatched the final episode if weren't for the zero requiem kallen would have lost because she is exhausted while suzaku isn't
0:18 - 0:20 It would have been so funny if Suzaku called him Bitch-marck right then.😂
Lelouch: "Suzaku you've become a warrior like no other."
Reiner: "And I toke that personally."
you don't need honor when you have absolute power.
I wonder how does Bismarck's Geass work. Lelouch's, Charles' etc. work by direct contact and messing with the target's brain. But Bismarck's? I mean it's not just observing muscles like e.g. Sharingan but he's clearly predicting the way Suzaku's KMF moved and with quite some foresight. Perhaps his Geass somehow connects him to C's world and since Suzaku is thinking what he will do, his intention is send to C's world and that's how Bismarck gets the info.
Do you have any other ideas how does Bismarck's Geass work?
Nunally's boys finally working together eh. Best anime ending ever
The Night of One...I’m not sure what but something about him reminds me of Marco.
Lelouch please geass me to learn math

Never thought I'd meet someone that beat my 5 watches.

And someone has just figured out why the Lancelot and Gurren looked like Gundams from the start.
I've always hated suzaku since when he did not join in zero's black knights and when zero save him when he was about to be punished cuz he was suspected to be prince clovis's murderer. But when this scene came and he obeyed lelouch, he is already AWESOME for me! YOU ROCK SUZAKU!
Hmm, so Bismarck sees the future and reacts to it, which will kill Suzaku, which will activate Suzaku's command and change his movement?
It's more Bismarcks sees the future and reacts. Suzaku sees he's losing and activates his geass command and so his reaction speed is so fast that even if Bismarck sees the future he can't react to it in time
@@sreddi83 like how the shargian and Lee were in naruto just cause u can see what I do doesn't mean your body can react to it
I've always interpreted it as the geass allowing Suzaku perfect execution when failure means death. So at the end Bismark sees exactly what Suzaku is doing and reacts in a way that would win him the fight any other time, but the geass command means Suzaku has no choice but to achieve that one in a trillion perfect execution.
Nobody talking about that Bismarck’s geass is basically the sharingan

After you see Suzaku shatter steal with a round house kick seeing him turning the geass command he was cursed with into a buff to beat the Knight of One who has a geass power of his own is somehow less impressive... 🤣
Except it’s not seeing the future Bismarck it’s mind reading focused on a persons next action.
Would you like an aspirin you look like you have a splitting headache.
Both of the sword halves at the end are the same half...
Nice catch
This is sort of Sasuke vs Rock Lee in the Chunin exams: Sasuke could read perfectly what Lee is doing, but could not react to it.
Oh cool Suzaku's voice actor is the same actor that voices Ringos voice from Fallout New vegas XD
I believe he also plays Sasuke from Naruto and Simon from Gurren Lagann
I have the lancelot Albion figure but the bad thing is that with all of my knightmare figures crowding my shelf I can't put him in a cool pose. And I dont have a stand either.
The dub is so good 😊
I WAS SUCH A SUZAKU GIRL FUCK ME UP
Lelouch's command Geass combined with Suzaku's physical giftedness equals a Suzaku who defies the laws of Geass in order to defeat the future itself.
It's like Yugioh.
I play polymerization and fuse my Emperor Lelouch with Suzaku the Honorary Knight to summon the fusion monster Suzaku the Knight of Zero level 12 0 atk and 4000 defense and I activate its special ability...it cannot be targeted by any card effect and on the turn its summoned any card effect that targets it is destroyed. The total attack and defense points of any monster destroyed by this effect is dealt to the owner as damage.

No argument there. And you were right about R2 having a Gundam Disorder.

Advocate to bring Bismarck, Monica, and Dorothea back in the new timeline so they can bring their traitorous friend to justice! None of them were prejudiced and trusted Suzaku with their lives.
@@inktea256 i feel sad for them but still. At the end most characters of Code Gaess were like that.Bounded by duties more than morals.
@@divyanshsinghtariyal9485 But it was still so baffling that Suzaku killed them. It’s an incredibly forced plot twist that contradicted everything about his character in a split-second. Bismarck’s motto was, “Strength that knows no bounds is merely violence,” and Monica’s was, “Justice is given equally.” (I hear she also had a crush on him right before he killed her. Wow, what a great friend.) And I think it is safe to assume that Dorothea was also a Number when considering the color of her skin. These aren’t the kind of people that Suzaku would so callously throw away if he personally knew them. He should have given them a chance like he did Gino, who wasn’t in the story enough for me to remember he existed. At the very least, they need to come back so he can wholeheartedly apologize and redeem himself.
@@inktea256 Yeah true.Monica actually had a crush on Orpheus Zevon from Code Geass: Oz the reflection 😅 Anyways moving forward,I agree with everything you said but I just can't think how the story would have moved on without this taking place.Like did he had any other option but to kill them?Iam just wondering.Suzaku at this point was just fed up with everything and had gone a bit crazy. There was nothing more important to him than the plan which he made with Lelouch.Who knows if he actually did tried to kill Gino as well when he thrashed Gino's Knightmare but Gino survived as matter of luck isn't it?
@@divyanshsinghtariyal9485 I had read on a 4chan post that she started liking Suzaku after her relationship with Orpheus failed, so maybe it's faulty information. But again, him killing them utterly contradicts his morals without a hint of development for it. The only reason Gino was spared was because the writers figured that the few scenes he was in was enough to get people to care about him. But I find it hard to believe that Suzaku wouldn't have been attached to every one of them. MAYBE Waldstein was the only one who couldn't change, given his position, but even then it is very selfish for Suzaku to cast their lives aside when he knows they care about him.
