      Biofinity Toric has been my go to for the past few years but recently I’m having trouble with my right eye.. drying out, hard to focus and sometimes I get a weird halo at the top of my eyes. I’m going back to the eye doc tomorrow to get rechecked. I’m not sure if it’s just not fitting to my eyeball correctly or if the prescription is somehow wrong. Just got my eyes checked like 2 weeks ago so this is a bit odd to me right now.

    Thank you for this awesome video. I've been wearing contacts for Astigmatism for years, and even tho my number is small and stable, I have very sensitive eyes. I can only use the daily disposable lens, and have been using Acuvue Oasys, but I still have to limit their use to 10 hours max, or I end-up having dry and itchy eyes. I might try Bauch+Lamb next tho.

I rarely need to use eye drops with these lenses. I also have the monthly Multifocal Ultra for Astigmatism when I know that I'll be doing a lot of close up work. Hello, looking for some advice as a new contact wearer. I’m wearing aquatechplus premium toric aka biofinity toric lenses and I’m still having issues seeing at night and in low light everything gets real soft and fuzzy. Comparing the contact lens prescription to my glasses prescription the axis for My astigmatism is - .75 at 175 on my glasses compared to - .75 at 170 on the contact for my right eye. And my left eye is -1.25 at 05 for my glasses and -1.25 at 180 on the contacts. My prescription was finalized just yesterday I brought the fuzziness up to my optometrist and she said it was normal because I have toric lenses. The problem is that my vision doesn’t resolve and get better in low light or dark situations. And it’s honestly harder to see with them in than if I just take them out. Is there a contact that could correct on those axis and at those powers? If not then I don’t think contacts are for me

I didn't realize I had to use the alignment markers when I put in the contact lenses. @@candyamal6888 I am glad you found a contact good for you Air Optixs has always been good to me. I tried Acuvive my eyes could not take them. I have tired other brands, but always end Air Optixs. That is why it is always important to keep trying different brands everyones eyes are different when it comes to finding the right contact brand for you.

    I've been wearing Acuvue Oasys 14 day since they came out. I wear one pair, 24/7 for 2-3 months straight, never taking them out. Super comfy and zero eye health issues. Guess I'm lucky. Just wish I could find a good optometrist so I could get a better prescription and see clearer for a greater distance.

    • @karopi
      @karopi Pƙed 2 lety +1

      Is not good to use it 24/7 also your eyes needs to relax at least one day per week or 2 weeks. Had you try to remove them to sleep and give your eyes a break for a day? maybe this can also help. I also use mine for almost 2 months. Once the eyes start to feel tired all day with them I know is time to change them

      @@karopi That's what a couple eye doc's had said, but four different doc's have failed to find any problems. But I agree, the longer they stay in, after a few weeks, I can start to notice they feel 'dirty', so I clean them. I believe part of it is some peoples eyes are more 'dirty' then others. Mine are quite 'clean' by nature. But, I do think I'm going to start changing them out once a month at least. I wear my glasses once in a blue moon, but always hate the way they make things look curved at the outside of my field of view. Thanks for the reply! Best wishes! :)

    Huh. So base curve, diameter, existing corneal health issues, and patient comfort shouldn't come into play.
    Medical devices shouldn't be compared like this.

      Thank you for your feedback. They absolutely do. This video was designed to help people have a more educated discussion with their eye doctor. We have a lot more information on our website that further discusses the technical aspects of each lens.
