It's important to note that despite being developed primarily by CyberConnect2, Asura's Wrath was published by Capcom, meaning Asura lives in the same house as the Street Fighter crew.
After seeing a mysterious warrior teleport seemingly out of thin air right in front of him, Asura decides to get ready to challenge his strongest opponents yet...

I have no idea why they haven't turned this game's story into an anime! It's right up there with any of the most popular action shows at the moment and there's plenty of content to draw from.
I watched all the play throughs with Maximilian Dood and good God, it's so good it made me tear up.

I feel like Asuralikes should be the new standard for anime games, specifically anime games based on battle shonen. Imagine a One Piece Asuralike, or a Naruto Asuralike, or a Bleach Asuralike, a Dragon Ball Asuralike, a Fate Asuralike, the list of possibilities goes on.

this is tbh a very fitting DLC consider the Satsui no Hado is somewhat always involved with Asura and Japanese Ogre
with Akuma normal design being based on many Asura statue face and in 6 we did see him uppercut an Asura statue in his cave too

Funny enough, I found it the same way you did. A CZcams video in the 2010's lol. I WISH I could play this game though. I doubt my RTX3050Ti could handle emulating it even at 720P. The screen tearing is also abysmal in this game too (AFAIK since I've only even played a few scenes through streaming on PlayStation). Even so, I don't think I'd be able to safely find the ROM for this AND the DLCs.
Honestly, this game needs a complete edition. Just imagine Capcom adding in the lost episodes without explaining what they are, kids in the future opening it up, and then getting two back-to-back batshit insane boos fights. If for no other reason, we owe it for future generations. Posterity if nothing else.
Asura's Wrath, the only game I know of where the base game was never available digitally, but the DLC was exclusively available via download. Like what in the world was that.
Asura's Wrath's Lost Episodes are some of the most amazing nonsense I ever experienced in a video game.

Game's not canon. Still strong, after all Gill exists, but not to this tier. It'd be completely ridiculous if they were considering the scale of the supporting cast they fight against.
