  • Hey Everyone,
    Here is my newest TAP SHOE REVIEW! In this video I will give you my opinion on the K360 Character Oxford from Capezio, better known as K's or K360's.
    To buy, go to www.capezio.com/women/shoes/ta.... If you want custom colors or any extra build, you should speak to their staff directly and not just order on the website.
    You can also get these at www.dancingfair.com/k360.htm. Ask for Matt if you call this Minnesota based company... He knows the deal and will get you exactly what you need. The sizes are different than in the Capezio store, though, so finding the right one without trying them on is the only tough part.
    I hope you found this helpful!
    Shelby

    Aw Pete :( He made my first pair too when we were in New York for Slide! I have had way too many pairs of these shoes and i love love love them. I haven't had a new pair since Petes passing. I recently purchased a pair of Miller & Bens and will admit, i love them. I never thought I would leave my K360s!

      Megan Zars I have to have a pair or 2 of K's at all times, but I will say, I am loving my Miller and Ben SporTaps!

    Looking to get a pair of K360s as my first new pair, I think I'll get the double build like you. Did you build up the heel as well?

    Before you started wearing more professional-model tap shoes, what type of tap shoes did you most commonly wear?

      I used regular hard sole tie Capezio shoes... They worked great when I was young.

    Hello. My we bought a pair of custom K360s for my daughter last year, per the recommendation of her dance teacher who owns a pair. They arrived in January. These shoes make an amazing sound. The only problem that we have had is that they almost immediately started to fall apart! They were coming apart around the seams, and the shoe was beginning to separate from the sole and my daughter had only worn them for less than 10 hours! We sent them back to be repaired 3 times, but they would not remake them! I am really hoping that we just got a poorly made pair. My daughter's feet are still growing, and although we were hoping to get 2 years out of them, we are needing to get her a new pair already. (Unfortunately she is an advanced tap dancer with a bunion, and these fit her very well.) I am just wondering about your thoughts, should we try again with another pair of K360s, or would you recommend another type of shoe? Thank you in advance.

      Abigail Rubin maybe try a pair of Miller and Ben’s this time. The quality of K’s are just not what they used to be. I like Miller and Ben sportaps But definitely tell her wear a blister bandaid on her bunion while breaking them in.

      +Ariana A That is definitely one option, and the way I usually do it. You can also call Matt at Dancing Fair in Minnesota and order them from him. It might be cheaper that way?

    I'm working with wheelchair seniors that want to tap. Do You know if they make a 👞cover that already has taps on them? My thinking would be that many would benefit from this without having to buy many pairs of tap shoes Ty for any advice.

      I don't believe anyone has made shoe covers with taps, but something you could do is take normal shoes and glue pennies on the bottom if you don't want to buy tap shoes. That, I believe, is how some of the first tap shoes were created.

    What is the difference between K360 and K540?

    • @shelbykaufman
      @shelbykaufman  Před 6 lety

      I don't know what a K540 is... what I do know is that every professional tap dancer I can think of with Capezio tap shoes has K360's, so for whatever reason, that is the highest model.
