- Diesel coldstart on the old ford courier wl+t, getting very hard to start so removed the glowplugs to diagnose the cause of my hard starting issues

WL and WLT motors are notorious for being hard on glow plugs. The old boy's old 2001 Courier used to eat them every 6 months until we found out that buying the cheaper ones was mostly the problem. Chuck the good ones in there and they seem to be able to take a fair bit more use. But that was still an easier cold start than our shitbox Challenger. When I get the new starter motor in it I'll have to post a video up of how we have to start it and what happens if we start it normally
