In case someone doesn't know this song is basically about a lovesick adventurer slowly becomes assimilated into an eldritch horror / metamorphosis by some weird virus and seemingly also a physical and computer virus
Yeah, they cut out the audio leading up to the gunshot. In the original music video, you hear a car drive up, some one step out of the car, hear a muffled voice saying, "step aside", then the gunshot. Also, a huge part of the music video is the text boxes discussing details about the song. (story behind this is the song an audio recording found by police at a crime scene and the text boxes are notations written by investigators, talking about evidence found on the sight, and trying to piece together what happened) Great video. czcams.com/video/rsF5EWOQN9Y/video.html
I can imagine Arti having a "No! I can't loose another one nononono please Hunter you are the last thing I ever had left" style Breakdown. I do love Artihunter as a ship for this built in tragedy. THe idea that Artificer, perhaps now stuck being immortal after her own route meets Hunter and has something in her life again only for her to lose it again, another idea is that since Hunter doesn't fully become consumed unless she dies if i recall correctly, Arti never lets hunter get into danger, perhaps setting up in a place with a few shelters next to each other like outskirts and having hunter stay in the shelter, bringing her food to eat as hunter just tries to tell her this can't go on. Sorry i kind of got lost in the drama potentional as typing but I think that goes to show how many things you can do with this ship

Well I’m really glad that this project hasn’t been to affected it seems, I don’t really understand or know what exactly happened but I think I understand the main issues of it, it’s just unfortunate that it happened the way it happened honestly, but it’s really good to see that your still alright to continue doing social media stuff :) Definitely gonna be keeping a eye out on when it releases.
why am I not surprised that pansear was the first to make a rain world shipping map (specifically artihunter)? Seriously though, it could be canon if there were a few less cycles between their timelines
we don't actually know the natural lifespan of a slugcat. rivulet dies before saint, and... that's all we know. and it's not an uncommon take to interpret saint as being centuries or millennia after rivulet.
it couldn't be canon artificer and hunter are opposites and hunter would unlikely attack arti cause of how she acts, hunter willingly saved moon with his last cycles where as artificer some reason went on a genocide cause one group of scavs killed her kids.
hunter long legs don't have the one hit kill thing tho (explosive on the core) but i still think that arti could easily defeat one, just would take a while since they have 50 hp
@@mikeoxsmal69 nah, the scug is just there to show that it was hunter before it got consumed by the rot, it's not really a important part of it's body anymore since it already grew enough to become what it is oh and if by ''stab the scug'' you meant hit the core then no, he doens't get killed, he get stunned tho!

Honestly, I always liked the idea of Artihunter, not because it was good or bad, or because of certain aspects, but how well it fit into Rain World. Think about it; the constant theme of tragedy, struggle, and while you can influence the game, it will always come to an end. Artihunter feels almost like a tragedy. Arti cannot ascend, no matter what. She picked violence, and has to live with the consequences of that path. Even if you do get to the void sea, she will not, cannot ascend. She will simply become an echo. Hunter, on the other hand, HAS no ascend. No matter what Hunter does, their choices are either to transform into a monster and become a shell of their former self, living only to kill and destroy, or ascend, leaving everything behind. They have to ascend before time runs out, or else die anyways and end up becoming a monster they cannot control. Any other Rain World ship, there is a happy ending. Even Hunter and another Scug would be fine, since they could both ascend. All of the Scugs could just choose to stick with their partners and have a happy life. But we’ve seen how harsh Rain World is. It isn’t going to sugarcoat anything, it’s giving you the bare minimum resources and help, and telling you to figure it out on your own. Artihunter is the only ship I could see being cannon and in game. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
tbh i like cherrybush bc itz somehow more tragic, az the idea of saint having to azcend a mutilated and horrifying hunter, where they could hear them, through their gargled growlz and screechez begging for death and azking why they cant see, DEZTROYZ me in the bezt way.
I remember having the idea to make an animatic of this with two of my rainworld ocs (ill just call them L and M for now because i was kinda building up to a name drop on my channel), L and M were dating, but L had the rot (basically yaoi version of artihunter). Might still make it but maybe not because people might think i stole the idea-
