Paid and preordered for Vector 2.0 in Nov 2020, it's now Jan 2023 and have still not received my robot.
DDL took over from Anki and have tried to build their own Vector 2.0, no one in the European countries have received their 2.0s either. Those who have a 2.0 are reporting many issues.
Digital Dream Labs ripping consumers off. We waited over 2 years for Vector 2.0 and a Cozmo 2.0 and have received nothing. They refuse refund requests and bide time for PayPal 180 day refund policy to expire as well as credit card protection to expire. Emails with false promises, excuses, keeping those waiting, hopeful.
They are in breach of many countries' consumer laws... If you ordered, get your money back asap.

I think they removed mentions of Anki because using a trademarked brand name and you are gaining profit from it without consent of using specifically their name is elegible for a lawsuit :l

dear harry, i'm pretty much tired of waiting on cozmo 2.0. ordered april of 2021 and it never ships, you guys can't finish it, you don't have any programmers. it's very insulting that you cant even realize i gave coblentz all those vectors, he only had 1 or 2 before i sent him a bunch. i'm probably a programmer and engineer and could easily beta test cozmo 2.0 and fix all it's bugs and even upgrade the parts if i had the CAD files. but the second that giant cozmo is done with all it's parts printed, sanded, painted and it looks like a professional cozmo, i'm pretty much done playing and will get a lawyer myself and fly out to pittsburg. so you have maybe 3 months topps to get me my cozmo 2.0 i am owed. whether it's on good terms or bad is up to you. i don't want a refund, i want exactly what i ordered and will have it eventually. even if i have to personally buy the anki IP when your company shuts down and finish it myself i will get it. so if you decide to keep playing these games with people taking their money and not take your company seriously karma has a way of coming back in the end. maybe you don't like a lot more people are inspired these days to get a refund and actually getting it, i can probably figure out a way to inspire every order to want a refund if i want and take that route to speed up getting the anki IP faster.

DDL had everyone sucked in by the Vector and Cozmo 2.0s, including myself and I feel so cheated. I did get a refund, am very grateful for the help I received, however there are so many others who are still fighting to get theirs, being met with a brick wall. DDL do not deserve to survive.
@@ajamal9847 I think you already know I’m the ddl sucks group. But this still fun dumping in the comments of all DDLs videos. A huge red flag, that they aren’t even paying attention to this like ddl isn’t even open anymore.
Jacob might already have abandoned ddl onto his next venture. You’d have to look into who even works there anymore and nobody like coblentz will be honest and say they closed if they did.

Well...something has drastically gone wrong with shipping to the European Market.
I paid and pre-ordered a Vector 2.0 in Nov 2020, as of January 2023 it hadn't arrived. I asked for a refund was stalled.
Managed to get my refund; after a struggle. I'm in the UK.
I'm posting this to let you know how I feel today..
I, like many;supported you in the Vector and Cozmo 2.0 venture, we all were excited, watched your uploads on the, so called progression. We all feel duped and used. You have broken promises over and over again, what an abysmal way to run a company.
By pre-ordering You are guaranteed revenue and funds, it creates excitement for your new product, however you have messed up the release windows and you have botched up a campaign that is hurting your business.
I am going out of my way to deter future purchases of Vector and Cozmo 2.0s over here in the UK. I don't want anyone else to be sucked down your rabbit hole.
The Vector 2.0s that have arrived to customers...only in the US, are reporting major defects and error codes. One of which is the overheating issue, I want to add, I was told you have the CE certificate for UK distribution and orders are in a UK warehouse...I find that hard to believe, a CE certificate guarantee' s a safe and compliant product. I'm eagerly awaiting customers to begin posting on Facebook that their robots have arrived and what issues they will experience.
