I agreed it does look cool, i acfually reach out to the guy years ago offering him a body for Alan and he straight talked shit and was really rude and yes of course i defended myself cuz i felt somettpe of way so the fact that this guy dont no how to work with others or take others opinions is the reason why this head as cool as it is lacked so many features that we as humans are expecting to find in and humanoid applicantion, first off the lip is never even a factor in here nevermind lipsync as there is no motors arms for those lips to pose any ttpe of articulation its actually the jaw whatc everyone keeps meaning to point out, it lacks proper movements this jaw only ddops and picks up it never shifts back and forth to convey certain words and so it looks robotic and altho it fits it just fine if he took that silicon mask off it would have been perfect but the silicon face makes us expect more from it, to talk more human. Ppl wont hit the uncanny valley if it look less human but the fact that he when for the human face kinda killed it at arrival.

There's nothing happening there, the Alexa speaker is doing its job and the useless robot is just moving it's head, mouth and eyes for no reason until the Alexa speaker stops.
it's just hooked up to Alexa . It's like adding a new "monitor" to your already functional set up.
I've had a ton of fun watching two of the Alan Head chat bots having the world's silliest random conversation with each other!
And the celebrity voice down load of Samuel L.Jackson with great talk and stories with 2 age appropriate language settings is almost as fantastic as hearing the gentleman himself.
The Alaina is calm and lovely , but a celebrity voice option for her would be nice.
Now no haters,DO NOT COME AT ME HERE PEOPLE: I think that it would be great fun to have accessories or optional skins for different characters available for both model's.
A pink eyed Alaina with a bunny face or at least the ears ,
Or a blue eyed Alan with a Siamese cat face would be ADORABLE.
Of course ,
I can think of a hundred different movie or comic book robotic /sci fi characters who would be a total blast to have around , but there would probably be pretty high copy right expenses.

Very cool tech! It's not perfect but a nice invention and will improve over time and I could see this getting very popular with a variety of optional changeable skin faces including celebrity faces and voices! 😎

Erase Planet Bruh simple Alexa SDK, use voice synthesizer to read Alexa voice frequency and output to servos. 3D print with ninja flex filament for the mouth piece and call it a day. P.S I have a C.S minor.

So it's just a head shaped speaker that moves around and looks at nothing, I saw someone do a similar mod with a talking fish wall ornaments, yesterday on the internet.
