Much appreciated mate. Glad you like a variety of things too.
Very cool fellas, I haven’t thought about the matrix in a long time. Brings me back to that fateful evening, when I had to choose between the red bill or the blue pill.
Haha thanks Ben.

@@RCTanksTrucks247 any time bro any time
The rapport between these two (and Karvo) is so friendly and chill it's entertaining to listen to regardless of the content. They need a TV show.
Much appreciated. Glad you enjoyed the show.
Completely agree... Except all the times they try & fail to say aluminum properly 😂 Fracking butchers
Hahaha
That is great guys. Would like to see more models. Thanks.
Awesomeness, well you certainly will 👍😊
Pretty bloody awesome model guys. Some folks probably are sad it came out of original packaging, but these things need to be out on display I reckon, so much to see. Dang cool.
If I wasn't making rusty rat rods, I'd make rusty space relics or abandoned mech models from scrap steel.
Thanks mate, definitely need to be out of the box. The beauty needs to be shown off 👍😁
Love the sound of abandoned mech models
Lovely model. Love it alot in the Matrix Revolution.
Thanks man
@@RCTanksTrucks247 I wondering does anyone re-create a 1/1 scale version of this thing? :D
Wow. Amazing.
Thanks, we will be showcasing many more

@@RCTanksTrucks247 Have you seen the new hummer from banggood? it isn't out just yet but it can be preordered. It looks pretty cool from what I can see. When I get to see more of it I will be more critical about it.
Lukeray is awesome. I will totally watch more scale stuff even if not rc
Awesomeness, what we want to hear
Amazing I’m looking to buy this in 2022
Awesome
That's pretty wicked. How awesome would it be if someone had the patients to make 1 into a RC.
Would be but extremely expensive
Would love to see the Robocop models and Transformers too.
They are on another level, totally amazing. But we will be do many more.
Lucre... Kraaaaaaaken!!! Stop getting distracted 😁... That APU is awesome tho

Fully bloody sic. Phat even.
Phat is good 👍
I got a jlb cheetah 1101 in a box that hasn’t been drivin in a year cuz it went in salt water and won’t drive. Is it trash worthy?

I still have my favorite Transformer Unicron who Stan's on top of my bookshelf
Nice! Love Transformers
@@RCTanksTrucks247 me 2 cheers
1.
I remember these were 14.99 at gamestop
Also Idk if that's actually Captain Mifune... I know that the MacFarlane version of the APU came with Mifune - the set is literally called "Mifune's Last Stand" - but that figure model doesn't really looks like him aside from the outfit. It may just be modeled off one of the rando pilots that was seen throughout the sequence... I certainly could be wrong though.
Thanks for watching
@@RCTanksTrucks247 Absolutely. I found my McFarlane APU some time back and decided to fix the arms so I could display it again, although the articulation for the arms on the McFarlane model is pretty limited. Their range of motion is pretty restricted compared to the ThreeZero version and what they seem to be capable of in the film, so recreating any action poses or anything resembling what was seen on-screen is out of the question. You're basically limited to having the guns pointed out while being held below the 'waistline'. Extending the arms out in the "knuckle-up" fashion as seen in the climactic battle sequence is impossible. Soooo, I decided to modify it a bit to allow for some increased posability and screen accurate movement. Basically it just involves removing a tiny bit of material at the top shoulder hinge and changing the joint where the shoulder/collar bone pieces connect to the upper body. They only rotate front to back on the z-axis, but in analyzing some screenshots and other reference materials it appears that theyre supposed to tilt as well. While I can't necessarily functionally replicate the shoulder movement exactly, I can install something like a ball joint there to get the range of motion I'm looking for.
I was hoping to maybe get a bit more insight through one or more of these video reviews of the the ThreeZero model as it seems to possess the type of range of movement and increased articulation I'm looking to reproduce in order to achieve the posability I'd like. Hopefully I'm making at least *some* sense here, haha.
how much for this?
where does luke ray work at?
eddie castro self employed for 15 years at an average of 70 hours per week, on call 24hrs 7 days a week. Nothing is for free ✊
I would like it to be bought somewhere
Nice
I had one of these and my wife threw it away thinking it was a TOY.....
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
@@RCTanksTrucks247 i know mate and some old pokemon cards that are worth thousands now..... shes lucky shes hot
.50 caliber? Lol no mate, they're WAY bigger than that, both on screen and to scale. They're 30mm autocannons. By comparison, the 30×173mm round (cartridge and projectile) is about twice the length of a .50 cal and the projectile/slug is more than two times the diameter, with .50 cal being around 0.500" or just shy of 13mm, while the 30 mike-mike is a little under 1.20" OD. Furthermore, a .50 BMG API projectile (Armor Piercing Incendiary) typically weighs between 620 and 800 grains (about 40 to 52 grams), while a 30mm PGU-14/B API shell can be a whopping 4,650 to 6,560 grains - 301 to 425 grams, or just shy of a pound! Even on the lower end it's still over a half pound, so ultimately a truly gargantuan projectile here...
Typically used within an anti-material and anti-armor capacity rather than anti-personnel applications, the 30mm is the same round fired by the feared GAU-8/A Avenger rotary autocannon, the weapon housed within the nose of the legendary A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft. 30mm is available in a variety of specialized munitions for almost any application, from fragmentation and high explosive incendiary, to armor piercing depleted uranium penetrator ammunition. Coupled with the immense rate of fire of a seven-barreled rotary cannon that can be set between 2,100 and 4,200 RPM, it has become an incredibly valuable weapons platform and battlefield asset for a number of militaries worldwide, particularly United States forces.
Obviously the Zion APU uses two belt-fed autocannons, each with a single barrel and breach rather than a rotary cannon which substantially reduces cyclical fire rate. These weapons would seem to function on a gas operated, open bolt, short-stroke piston design thus allowing the system to operate utilizing energy created by expanding gasses from fired ammunition rather than requiring a seperate dedicated power source as is the case with multi-barreled rotary cannons (rotary systems require bulky, heavy power systems of their own in order to rotate the barrel/breach assembly to function, one of the downsides of such a design). This drawback combined with additional weight and resource/cost considerations that must be accounted for when using rotary cannon platforms begin to balance out the limited ROF and reduced target saturation of an open bolt platform. There are in fact "self-driven" rotary cannon/minigun designs that operate via gasses generated by the fired munitions just like traditional gas operated firearms, however they're pretty uncommon and at times less reliable than their hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric counterparts (additional mechanical moving parts/wear surfaces so more potential areas of failure).
At any rate, the piston-driven autocannon equipped on the APU must be an incredibly robust and well-designed system considering the nature of the application and the engagements that are encountered, as it would likely be exceedingly difficult for an APU pilot to attempt to clear any malfunctions or anything; and suffering any catastrophic malfunction that leads to the loss of a one of the two primary weapons for any extended period of time likely means certain death, if not merely reduced firepower and extremely diminished combat effectiveness at best. The platform likely incorporates a passive, self-correcting, mechanical failsafe system into the action or some manner of automated active clearing protocol that either engages via electronic sensor when a malfunction is detected; or occurs deliberately when initiated by a quick single-action command input from the operator. That said though, I would argue that perhaps 30mm rotary autocannons would perhaps offer increased effectiveness for a few reasons, especially considering the nature of the primary threat and enemy combatant/unit type that the human resistance were facing during the War of the Machines, although once again things like ammo capacity, weight, and power requirements would more than likely be an issue. Personally I've always thought that the two belt-fed autocannons would be more than adequate if perhaps further supplemented by a .50 caliber or 20mm rotary cannon mounted to a hardpoint at the "shoulder" of the APU exoskeleton. Just the one would be great honestly, but this could be further amplified by an additional weapon/equipment mounting hardpoint at the other shoulder as well, thus allowing two rotary cannons to be equipped at each shoulder in order to supplement the primary weapons and truly maximize the potential firepower output.
One could even imagine other weapons such as rocket pods/missles or other various explosives and the like, although I've always considered explosives to be a poor choice and less than effective against Zion's primary and/or regular adversaries. Tending to favor swarm tactics in open combat, the cephalopod-esque "Sentinels" have little trouble overwhelming and overtaking singular prey and are only thwarted when faced with concentrated fire from multiple positions. It would seem that maximizing the amount of lead put downrange by an APU would be the most wise approach to the situation - hence my thoughts here - but that's just me really.
👍
You still got it?
👍
@@RCTanksTrucks247 you do, I bought the threezero Ed-209 off you
Shame that movie made the franchise an absolute joke
Lol
I thought it was rc and working.
Sad
Rc, no chance. That's why I said model 👍
Mate it's like giving a kid a radio control car and not put battues in there so he can use it.. Very disappointed in this video as you waffled alot and didn't actually show us the working article.
It doesn't move. Just lights. Waffled on? Wow, really hard to please everyone.
