Literally a data mining app

Threads = Censorship
Ong bro
I could see myself using Threads regularly if my feed was only the people I follow. But right now it’s ALL random people I don’t care and there’s no way to put my interest in the app so seems useless for me right now
I've been able to combat it somewhat by blocking/muting anything I don't care about. It seems the algorithm learns what I don't wanna see and shows me more of my friends. Though I think it's also an issue of people not posting as much yet. Once the ball really is rolling im sure feeds will only get better. I have high hopes for this app! :D
What you are describing is exactly how Twitter started....
Same
Give it time unless you want to have a 600 scroll limit on a shittier app
I've had a few randoms, but I just mute them. So far, I'm enjoying Threads.
Threads, as in "hanging by" is good for those that support an installed gov.
Mark Zuckerberg really said Ctrl+C Ctrl+V
That's why he's being sued.
So, 10 million poked their heads out of their safe spaces and became Threads "users".
"They reached out to Twitter and all they got was an 'automated response.' " 😂

It's like tiktok, he wants all your data!
It's brilliant, you can now chat with all those people you could chat with anyway, you'll have all the same followers too and get this, you won't see many pictures or videos
Not everyone follows you back. But the algorithm is a little different so for creators it could be interesting
I looked it up and it immediately says it’s going to download and save your personal information from your phone
yeah, nobody likes mark zuckerberg
No reason for me to use threads
This looks so useless.

@@tykeorama9898 watch, 3 years from now, Twitter will be irrelevant
@@HackerFlavio sure buddy. Keep dreaming.
One of the first things I did was to look at Threads "community guidelines" and I had to chuckle. It's no different than any other major social media platform all of which emphasize civility. Social media platforms are intended for the emotionally weak-minded. Heaven forbid anyone say anything that might "offend" someone else. And it makes no difference if what was originally said was in fact factual or true. I was banned from both Twitter and Facebook for criticizing faith-based beliefs even though there wasn't one thing I stated that was untrue. The very fact I criticized made me into a pariah because someone was so emotionally fragile any criticism of their beliefs violated community guidelines of intolerance. Americans in particular have become overly emotional and fragile. Don't say anything that might offend someone especially when the subject is religion, something of which there is absolutely NO evidence as the basis of their beliefs other than they want to believe. Belief does not make something true/factual. If social media can't tolerate sharing truths and facts than it plays no valuable role in communicating useful information. Information that people should have in making smart decisions about their own lives, community, state and nation. For example, look at the chaos that has resulted over the past 30 yrs of American politics ever since southern conservative evangelicals took over Congress in the 1990s. Oddly, it's OK to criticize politics and politicians but it's NOT OK to criticize an area of human beliefs that has little to no evidence to support such beliefs. Go figure. If social media can't be used to convey facts and truths and used for mere opinion, gossip and conspiracies, what good is it to a nation?

I ain’t reading all that
@@mannhouse8014 Sorry you're to intellectually lazy to consider what's said. Studies have shown the American attention span is about 30 seconds. heaven forbid anyone think about something too long. If you can't take 1 minute to read it you must be in that group.

If you want to delete your Threads you will have to delete your Instagram account. It will be same with Mastodon when people flocked their when Twitter was supposedly shutting down then less then 2 months people left Mastodon
Within a few hours of launching, Threads was already secretly censoring users and not offering them the right to appeal.
Jesus Christ called people everywhere to repent, so if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe with all your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved and inherit the kingdom of heaven and eternal life. To this, people would accept Jesus Christ in life in their hearts and told other people how good he is, how he saves, heals and frees and gives eternal life for free 74

Good for you. Stay where you most feel comfortable. Inside your delusional bubble.

@@PeugeotRocket imagine flocking to a platform because it pushes a hateful agenda and sensors all opposing views claiming that anything that conflicts with what they are saying is misinformation.
Threads is way better than Twitter. One is because it is less chaotic than Twitter itself, and let’s be honest now like Twitter has been going down hill ever since Elon became CEO, but threads is none of that. because of good timing for this app it might become Twitter’s new replacement and will be the death of Twitter, but only time will tell.
