This way you, the user, can try out any leather conditioner, water proofing agent etc. on the internal leather, before using it on the outer - thus avoiding ruining the outside of the bag if the specific leather treatment has an adverse reaction to the leather. as an avid worrier it soothes my mind to have tested things like that on the internal part. Personally i also end up using that kind of pocket for my travel/oister card, so that i dont have to get out my cardholder on a busy station (theft prevention ;) )

Out of all the Chloe bags out there this is the one I love the most and one that I will keep in my collection, I found the others like the Faye very heavy and the chain on the bag was annoying as it would always get in the way when opening and closing, I didn’t like the drew strap and the Nile was gorgeous but I could fit my phone in ( a lot smaller then the Tess small) and only really looked good in the small not medium ( same as the Tess) but this is the perfect combination of all the bags put together!!! Love mine in the bleached brown as the strap also goes with a lot of me Louis Vuitton bags as well! ♥️

I was in the market for a small day bag earlier this year, deciding between this bag and the Loewe puzzle bag. I love love the style of this bag, but in the end went for the puzzle bag based on two things, 1) as you mentioned, it's quite small and doesn't fit all my daily essentials. 2) I couldn't find any discounts at the time, and I just couldn't bring myself to pay full price for ANY Chloe bags because I know it will get discounted soon, PLUS the resale value is so low. Still, such a beautiful bag though! If an opportunity comes up later to buy it at a great discount I would consider it again

You do make me smile Emma- that discount thing is deadly , my only saving grace is being perpetually broke and not having a credit card lol. This bag me of my beloved small Chloe lexa, but unusually for Chloe the lexa doesn't have a lot of noisy hardware. It's also a little larger so more practical for me.I use Collonil products on my bags and shoes as it's the best I've found .

Yes discount codes get me in a frenzy too - I have to unsubscribe from email lists bc I’m suppose to be on a no buy. Also a lot of the sales aren’t that great either :/ and they come so often too that I get tired of them - feels like it just feeds the shopping addiction.

Hi Emma ❤️ As you told us the shorter top Strap is removable. Is the larger, adjustable Strap also removable or can you only wear Tess on the Tophandle with the large Strap still hanging down? (which is a pretty cool look) 👜 But maybe for using it with a - for example - Wedding-Guest-Dress it does seem a little bit too cool/bold ..

alongforthememories personally I’d say it was bearable but it also depends how you’re wearing it and with which strap. Wearing it cross body seems to produce the least noise 👍🏼

Really enjoyed this video and took me back a couple of months when I was debating whether to get the Tess in large or the Faye Day bag ... got the latter in fact cos I totally get what you said about the Tess just being ugly in large... and the lifestyle requirements :D Also, quick question ... how long did it take your Chloe bags hardware (the clasp mainly) start to fade/lose some colouring? Mariel Sacco admittedly I haven’t worn any of my Chloé bags enough that they have started to tarnish yet. I have my favourite bags, like Judith, but for the most part I am pretty good at alternating my bags. I’ll keep you posted on the hardware the more I use it 👍🏼

the only bags i use are by FOSSIL are 100% leather and are hardy to every day life , not so much hardwear but i love them x

You do make me smile Emma- that discount thing is deadly , my only saving grace is being perpetually broke and not having a credit card lol. This bag me of my beloved small Chloe lexa, but unusually for Chloe the lexa doesn't have a lot of noisy hardware. It's also a little larger so more practical for me.I use Collonil products on my bags and shoes as it's the best I've found .

Thanks for the comments about the noise. My God, I have probably worn my Chloe Susannah boots 3 times due to the noise, and they were the very first edition I got.

Lydia Carels no it’s not that heavy. In comparison to something like the Gucci Soho Disco it’s slightly heavier but not by much x

Yes discount codes get me in a frenzy too - I have to unsubscribe from email lists bc I’m suppose to be on a no buy. Also a lot of the sales aren’t that great either :/ and they come so often too that I get tired of them - feels like it just feeds the shopping addiction.

But yesterday while shopping at Saks in Toronto Canada I had the opportunity for some personal shopping. When speaking with the sales assistant, I started talking about hardware, and can I get my iPhone in the bag! Ha ha Definitely trying to do my best Emma impersonation. So just when you think you,re getting bloody tired of talking about a handbag,remember with affection us bloody idiots who DO need this kind of help. Hi Emma ❤️ As you told us the shorter top Strap is removable. Is the larger, adjustable Strap also removable or can you only wear Tess on the Tophandle with the large Strap still hanging down? (which is a pretty cool look) 👜 But maybe for using it with a - for example - Wedding-Guest-Dress it does seem a little bit too cool/bold ..

Do you find that it makes noise when you just walk around? (Like an annoying amount or a bearable amount)
alongforthememories personally I’d say it was bearable but it also depends how you’re wearing it and with which strap. Wearing it cross body seems to produce the least noise 👍🏼

Really enjoyed this video and took me back a couple of months when I was debating whether to get the Tess in large or the Faye Day bag ... got the latter in fact cos I totally get what you said about the Tess just being ugly in large... and the lifestyle requirements :D Also, quick question ... how long did it take your Chloe bags hardware (the clasp mainly) start to fade/lose some colouring? I've only had the Faye Day since Oct'18 and can already see some fading ... perhaps that's another con in these otherwise gorgeous bags? Wish you, Simon and the fur babes a lovely Sunday x
Mariel Sacco admittedly I haven’t worn any of my Chloé bags enough that they have started to tarnish yet. I have my favourite bags, like Judith, but for the most part I am pretty good at alternating my bags. I’ll keep you posted on the hardware the more I use it 👍🏼
