      it said why in the video. the peritoneum overlies the abdomen. pressure on the left iliac region can be felt on the right iliac region due to irritation from stretched skin, which bothers an already inflamed appendix

      You are incorrect - Blumbergs is a clinical sign for peritonitis, which is defined as rebound tenderness upon the removal of pressure, not the application of pressure.
