    Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'm a beginner and love millenary ,but don't have all the tools you need.!!
    Most millenary tutorial's use expensive tools to make it happen.!!
    And for a beginner you really don't know what you need..!
    Love and kisses from the Netherlands.

    What is pva solution? And does conture, always mean its hand sewn? I always heard people say oh that's conture, does that mean its hand sewn ....like dress and clothes also, just interested in learning the word useage..

    • @SHMillinery
      @SHMillinery  Před 3 lety +2

      Hi Polyvinyl acetate (PVA, PVAc, poly(ethenyl ethanoate): best known as wood glue, white glue, carpenter's glue, school glue, Elmer's glue in the US. Couture means high end , expensive, which in turn means very high quality fabrics and finish (e.g.hand sewn) hope this helps

    Hi. Silly question: Can I use any type of headband?

    • @SHMillinery
      @SHMillinery  Před 3 lety

      Hi, no question is silly 😀 as long as the band is sturdy enough and wide enough to take the weight of what ever hat you are making, then it is up to you what you use.

    • @SHMillinery
      @SHMillinery  Před 3 lety +2

      @@patiencejohn-kalipa4844 you would have to use extra stiffener on the fabric. The sinamay doesn't have as much starch in it

  • @princessruth9831
