Mr beast burger as a concept isnt really that bad, but it expanded too much too quickly at the cost of consistency. Theres a reason why it took mcdonalds 70 years to get to the size it is today
McDonalds has physical locations with "quality" control. Beastburger has no form of quality control just like all other ghost kitchens. Only government regulation of ghost kitchens would fix this problem or an entire change of the Beastburger concept.
Correct me if I'm wrong, also English is not my 1st language :)
@@Kiterunner You're correct. Franchises are still operated by the owner of the franchises but ofc still have to abide by McDonalds marketing, quality control, branding, etc if they want to keep using the name. Ghost kitchens on the other hand have no control and they just do whatever they want. MrBeast surely knew what he was getting into and he can't really blame anyone else
@@mapper7310 the "they just do whatever they want" seems very correct when looking at the differences in what kind of bread they use for the same burger😂 The differences are huge
what is the mcdonalds reason ?

It seems that Jimmy is quite careful now in the expansion of MrBeast Burger. There is only two kitchens that serve MrBeast Burger, Just Kitchen's Makati and Malate, Manila branches compared to the thousands of ghost kitchens in USA.

I think having Mr Beast burger is a good concept. However, I think he should have opened up a few of his own restaurants and then create franchises. Working with already existing restaurant chains, you will lack consistency especially with 'ghost kitchens.'
Resturants like that only have like 5% profits, not worth it.
So basically: just do what everyone else in the fast food industry does?
The whole reason it blew up initially was because it was a novel concept, and that momentum helped with Feastables' success since Jimmy had clout at that point. Mr. Beast Burger walked so that Feastables could run, and you can't convince me otherwise.

I had no idea about any of this. For the record, if you do want to try it, the one in Casper WY does really well, likely because it operates out of a 5 guys.
I think it could’ve worked better if he only opened like 1 - 5 burger resutrants which would’ve been more manageable. Starting a brand isn’t easy after all

i think jimmy isnt really at fault here. hes a well intentioned guy who just wanted to start a fast food company and saw ghost kitchens as the most accessible way to get around but underestimated how hard quality control for these places are. id say the next logical step is to phase out his ghost kitchens and start dedicated locations, then again i dont know the ins and outs of running burger joints (no pun intended) and that might be a whole different ball game. the contract he signed is another factor too as there might be terms that restrict him from doing stuff before it ends. heck, the company might dissolve when it ends. anyways i wish jimmy the best and that he plays his cards right
I live in SoCal, I don't watch Mr. Beast so I didn't know he did this until one day I was looking at Door Dash and it popped up. I figured I would give it a try and it was good. Better than some fast food chains out there. I have ordered off and on since then with no disappointment. I order less than 10 times a year from there, I would order more if they had steak fries.
Looks like I lucked out, I think a Black Angus is cooking the burgers up for Mr. Beast in my area.
MrBeast Burger was a failure, but you can't blame MrBeast. If there's one thing I've learned about Ghost Kitchens is that they can't be trusted. It's basically a game of coin toss. I've had Beast Burger several times, some in different areas with different ghost kitchens, and they're all different. No joke, only 2-3 times was an experience just like a previous one. Compare that to Feastables, which will 9/10 always be the same experience because he has control. He has little to no involvement with Beast Burger outside of the name.
Of course you can blame mr beast lol. He and his people aren’t stupid. They were well aware of the risks involved in doing business like this, yet they still did it.
It's primarily MrBeast's fault. Incompetence, Inexperience in the fast-food business industry and being naive brought him to depend and decide to give Ghost Kitchens a shot.
I can see that you're a brainwashed hardcore fan if you're saying he has no involvement with the "MRBEAST BURGER". Don't @ me, I don't like speaking to delusional 10 yr-olds in the internet.
The restaurants were probably just saying they'll make the best burgers without anything to back it up just so MrBeast does the deal and helps their business.
Because think about it this way, the COVID pandemic is here and as a result your business is doing bad, but if you start selling a product from a world famous youtuber thats going to help with business so much. it's a no brainer to get the deal no matter what. If the restaurant straight up said that sometimes they're going to make the meat raw or too overcooked MrBeast probably would not have signed a deal with them
All the ghost kitchens in my area have much better quality food than most of the actual fast food restaurants. The only thing I find with ghost kitchens is that when a place has like 7 businesses running from it... sometimes you'll find the exact same food advertised for different prices out of each of them.
This is an issue that kills business' fast, Bby oversatuting the market. If he opened a couple resteraunts and made sure the quality was consistent then he could have proceeded to open others. This is similar to how other fast food places started to grow. Do you think that places like McDonald's would be as big if Ray Kroc didn't care about quality? Even places like In and Out slowly built up and kept the menu simple and made sure the quality was consistent. Quality beats quantity every time.
Good take on it and remaining neutral. I hope Jimmy doesn't have to stay silent for long. It's not his fault everything went to crap. It's the corporations ruining everything as they always do.
Well, tbf I think he is kinda to blame for wanting too much too fast. That quality control would be a nightmare when opening a 300 location ghost kitchen business over night really shouldn’t have come as a surprise. Companys usually need years or even decades to establish consistent quality and experience. He simply rushed into it, treating it like just like any other of his projects, but he massively underestimated this one
It's his company. It's literally his fault.
@@BundtNothingElseMattersthe sheep will not believe u, or anyone, just mr.beast
@@NPCRAFT-ll9to but his reaction is not unreasonable and makes sense. I would do the same in his shoes, fuck those ghost kitchens tarnishing my reputations.

I enjoyed watching this vid keep up the good work!
Who could’ve predicted that? Anyone who ever worked in hospitality could tell at first glance that this business model sounds good on paper but is nearly impossible to keep up
He needs to mature and cut off people that are dragging him down. Business is business
Just because your kid sets up a lemonade stand, doesn’t mean it’s the best lemonade stand.
All I gotta say is at least he's trying things out because who wants to take reget with the grave. He has the resources so why not do it. A lot of the stuff we have is becasue others took risks and without risks you will never know. Walt disney went bankrupt 5 times, steve harvey lived in his car for 2yrs and I can go on. Live life to the fullert everyone.
Good video. I tried to buy from Beast Burguers in Puerto Rico but the app didn't even worked and the customer service just ignored me.
I think it would have been way better if he just opened physical locations
Covid: am I a joke to you?
@@DeathDoesThings nonetheless, virtual locations that operate within another restaurant don't do well
I think with physical locations that has delivery would be good. I think Jimmy should’ve slowly expanded. Start with a location in a decently sized city then expanding into larger cities like NY, LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, Portland, and etc. It would benefited MrBeast so the quality can be controlled. When you let everyone do it, you’re going to sketchy places doing MrBeast Burger and don’t know how to cook it correctly or not even trained how to make it like Jimmy wants it to be.
Quality and consistency is huge when it comes to food
You alway say the right stuff I love your videos good job bro 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Just started watching. Already love his dutch accent. New sub here! 🇧🇪
Money can't solve everything. Jimmy is learning this the hard way.
The problem the beast burger may have been experiencing is the quality of food is inconsistent as many fastfood restaurants has perfected this craft of consistency over the years. From past experience i may have concluded that jimmy has a secret operation to start beast burger as an official business that may rival mc donalds.
They opened one in a hotel near me and it didn’t seem to stay open for very long. I heard from people that the food wasn’t great
Heard of this fastfood chain, but wasn't aware that Mr. Beast distanced himself from it, or the controversies.
I am sympathetic for him, that he is stuck in the deal and can't leave. That said, I am not going to give him a free pass, since he intentionally tried to monetize his brand for profit. He still does with like his candy bars. It isn't like they stole his brand and are using him or something. He sold it in order to try and make more money.
Mr Beast is certainly fantastic at marketing. He just needs to focus on quality control by identifying the bad ghost kitchens and cutting them out. The business model of ghost kitchens are new and quality control is likely a problem for other restaurants too. Ghost kitchens will hopefully find a way to address that issue and it's just the growing pains of this new type of business, similar to how freelance-ride sharing started (Uber/Lyft).
I think Mr Beast is simply experiencing some set backs that can be overcome over time as his brand will likely keep him afloat in the mean time.
Anyone with experience in high scale food manufacturing management would realise how bad is idea to run fast-food on dark kitchen infrastructure. The key is centralised supply & staff training, producing as much semiproducts as possible on factory and then supplying to locations, etc. For this thing to sustain quality you need insane standardisation of all processes.
Expectation. Vs. Reality. It ceases to amaze me.
He needs a quality control team and real restaurants! Remember good burger? Yeah something like that lol they're trying to be Mondo burger! Ngl i make a 3 blend burger that smacks hard af!
Man this is so sad for Jimmy. I don’t even live in the U.S but one of the things that I wanted to do whenever I do go, is try a beast burger. Sadly, I don’t think it will taste the same as it once did.

Mr Beast should've opened 2 start up stores. Just to see what and how his product would do. Ask customers for honest reviews.
A lot of people who have a fast rise to success without a lot of adversity experience something called knowledge transfer. Meaning, because they became successful in one field, they believe their knowledge will carry them in a totally different vertical. which makes them vulnerable to making large investments and failing in fields where no knowledge of the operation is actually really understood. People who have made this mistake like this beast burger guy are bitten with something the French call 'folly de grandeur.' The hospitality industry has claimed many like the beast burger guy, like Jayz, Sean combs, Kevin Costner, hulk hogan, flavor flavor, Kenny rogers. It is nouveau-riche

Liked and subbed, great video
When ordering these types of products it's important to go see where they are being made and try different locations. Near me, the options are a major Mexican restaurant chain (not Taco Bell, a real one), or a major Italian restaurant chain. Not Olive Garden, a real one. Check the address before ordering and see what's actually there.
While Mr Beast can't control quality, you can do your own research and see if you've actually got a solid option or just some joker. I have always ordered from the Italian restaurant and it's been good. Other people have their burgers coming out of Red Robin which is probably a very good option seeing as they are a major burger place.
He wants to move on to Feastables anyway, so it was inevitable (but yeah, the partner company cared more about expanding too fast and cared less about quality).
Great video!
I expected that a year or so ago, after spending 12$ for something id a trade a McDouble for
I tried Mr. Beast Burger mainly because there was a Ghost kitchen down the street from my place, so I gave it a try and it was alright..

i tries feastables from Walmart and only the milk chocolate was kind of good. i don't think mr beast isn't a entrepreneur
That’s sad. Maybe one day Beast Burger will be revolutionized with a comeback, but probably not anytime soon.
Seems like the idea is sound, if the main problem is quality control then minimise the size while you build up an infrastructure for maintaining it. Obviously if I can think that up Jimmy can so must be more to it than that
The Mr Beast Burger near me was great. I had it multiple times and it wasn't even bad once.
the quality of the food from mr beast burger was so inconsistent, I would regularly get burgers that were very raw in the middle and looked like they were slammed on the pavement and ran over by a car. the mr beast burger near us had a 2 star rating from like 300+ people.
Why would they fix it when you kept ordering raw burgers lmao

I tried it 2021 in Detroit from a ghost kitchen a chandler style the meat had way too much black pepper on it for my taste. I honestly hope the quality increases or Jimmy is able to remove his name from it since he's legitimately not interested in it at all.
