None of these type videos soak the toothbrushes laying flat to disinfect the handle too. Our Mom did this for years. Brushes soak in water with a little ammonia.
The handle doesn't go in your mouth. We aren't deep throating it.

Do your best to stay away from the chemicals in any of the stores! You seem like such a nice guy, and they affect your entire system. Start researching on all the poisons, heavy metals, TOXINS, GMO‘s, aluminum, phosphates/parabens…… in most ALL big corporation products!
Do your best to use all organic or homemade DIY products !

Method makes really good products.
I’ve heard Method is good. I use Doterra (just about) everything: laundry pods, dryer balls, mineralizing toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo & conditioner, On Guard and/or Abode (I prefer On Guard), etc. I especially like that their cleaning products contain thymol (an ingredient in Pine Sol) with its antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. The products seem pricey up front, but they are concentrated and last a good long while.
