Among the best whitout a doubt..
This is as far as the guitar can get, when it comes to Romantic.
The most amazing thing about Petra Poláčková (and she has oh so many) is definitely her phrasing. Here and there (and mostly in the celebrated Ständchen) she literally grabs the music from the hands of Franz Liszt, to give it back to Schubert and make it sound like a song again.
And hey, Mertz did a decent work, too :)

To my ear this is the perfect guitar tone, robust and with the full body that playing with nails often does not produce.

Lovely playing. Is the guitar based on the Ries 9 string?
It's based on 9-string Franz Feilnreiter, which is exactly the same as 1840 8-string Ries but with an extra string.
