Rsx type s actually makes a bit more power than the 8th gen SI and also has a higher redline. Plus the rsx-s motor does not have balance shafts thus allowing the engine to spin up faster. Futher the rsx may be a lighter car than the SI

@Cruz Ponce can swap si lsd to Rsx pretty easily. Si is the better car to start modifying in my opinion tho because it already has lsd and rbc intake, plus better gearing and 4.7 final drive compared to first gen type s which has only 4.3 final.
The gearing is the same on the SI as the 05-06 RSX, except the SI has the taller 6th gear which comes from the TSX. The 02-04 rsx has the taller less appealing gear ration at 4.3 final drive compared to the SI and second gen rsx at 4.7 final drive gear ratio.
A2/Z1/Z3 all run about the same, it would just be driver vs driver only. I ran my 220&163tq type s against my buddy 8gen 220&162tq civic si, dead equal. Probably because it’s the same tuner too.

man the k20a2 is a crazy engine, can handle 500 hp stock reliably, and no issues when swapping it.
