Channel: BBC1 TX: 29th December 1984, 11.20pm Duration: 38:59 One-off Christmas best-of compilation from episodes of Carrott's Lib. Featuring Jasper Carrott, Chris Barrie, Nick Maloney, Jan Ravens and Nick Wilton.
Whatever happened to Nick Wilton? He used to be the goto guy for sketch comedy bit parts. Everyone knows what happened to Jan Ravens and Chris Barrie...
Likewise. From memory, it seems to be connected to a party exhibitionist. Harry has a unique ability and is keen to show off. In one moment, the matches are out and "brumpff". Unfortunately, personal singeing required cooling by exposure through the car window en route to A & E. There was competition on arrival, as to who would reveal the incident to the Ward Sister. Good luck with your search.
@@vstol Mine was a cassette too. 'Explosive gasses' was added on as a bonus track. Jasper starts off by talking about the negotiations that took place with ITV about the use of swearing in the live show (you can have two 'farts' if you remove a 'bloody', etc. Ha!). I seem to remember my copy receiving as a Christmas present
@@nickbonny8004 Thank you Nick. My cassette has been "Stored Carefully" where it might come to light eventually. : ) The ITV negotiations is another classic memory.
Jasper carrott, 1 of Britains greatest comedians
I agree with you on that one. If anyone else watches him but doesn't find him funny, they're not fucking made right.
I'm from Birmingham, and we are very proud that Jasper is one of us
Jasper always looked 50 his whole life
Whereas Chris Barrie has never aged.
Amazing 👍
Whenever I am next to someone in a queue who is a little loony (i seem to attract them) I always think of his nutter on the bus sketch.

I was about to say, did anyone else spot Chris Barrie.
I was a wise man in a play as a kid 😆
I worked with someone who knew him very well
You can't get away with any of this stuff nowadays. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes you can. You should get out more.
where can I find his routine where he talks about american sodas "A cup full of ice...5 bucks"
I need to find the sketch where he tells the tale of his mate Harry who lights a fart and has a blow back..... He was a big hairy devil as well 😂

@@vstol 'Explosive Gases' from the LP The Unrecorded Jasper Carrot -- taped for TV, but this was an extra unbroadcast track!
@@nickbonny8004 Many thanks Nick. This track has been in my memory for ages. Seem to recall listening to it on a cassette?

I would've converted this to mp4 but you've chopped most of the opening titles off, which fucking ruins it for me. As for Jasp, he's as funny as fuck.
